Very nice 90 minute hop on hop off tour with 23 stops over a 3-4 mile route. Tickets are good for 3 days and trolleys arrive every 20 min. No scheduled times. It may be hard to hear the tour operator narration as you're riding in an open air car or sitting next to chatty passengers so make sure you sit close to a speaker that is working. Don't wait to return after 4pm as trolleys fill up and ur wait time may be up to 40 minutes to return. Unpleasant in hot humid weather with 2 fidgety children. Maybe bring a seat cushion if u plan to sit through the whole 90 min duration. read more

Great way to see this wonderful city. The tour guides were very personable and told great stories. They seem to genuinely love their city. You can hop on and off to visit different sites, and on the last stop we got Jimbo as our guide. He was so enjoyable that we took the full tour with him the next day to hear all his stories, a real treat. Not only is he a very knowledgable guide, but also a retired SEALS commander. Thank you for your brave service my friend. The trolley was a great way to see a large area in a relatively short time. We never would have seen some of the areas we toured. And then we went off on our own to spend more time at some of the attractions. The locals are friendly and the city history is so interesting. We will be back soon. read more

Old Town Trolley Tours are consistently good and informative any city they're located.

Overall, I recommend buying a trolley pass for convenience sake. Parking is horrible, unless your willing to pay to use the parking garage, and I'm not too keen on walking around all the time. I didn't mind the tour guides, though some were better than others. My main gripe about the trolley is that over the weekend it's hard to find a seat. The trolleys are suppose to arrive at each trolley stop every 15 minutes, but more than once we were waiting on two or more trolleys, only to find they were full. A huge annoyance and time waster. read more

We purchased our tickets on-line for the Night of Lights tour last night. We had trouble finding parking. After parking & walking to the train station, the line to get onto the trolleys was about 45 minutes to an hour long! Trolley folks - take a lesson from the Biltmore - assign times on the tickets to get on the Trolley and it would be much more efficient. We left without riding, so I'll consider the ticket costs a "donation". Extremely disappointing with the lack of organization and the complete waste of time. read more

Went on a day trip to St. Augustines. I highly recommend this trolley tour. You get discounts to many of the attractions and they bring you just about everywhere worth seeing in town. Get there early trolley stops at 4:30. Only downfall was how bumpy the ride was. I had a good laugh when our trolley hit a light post and kept going. read more

This is really the only way to see all of the sights of the city without having aching feet and being exhausted. My only complaint is the price, $25 for not much more than a ride around town seems pricey. If you're in town to use it for the three days it's more reasonable but we were just here for the day. There's free parking at a couple of the stop so that's a plus. Conductors were great, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Worth it just to get your bearings and see what interests you. Does get more and more crowded as the day goes on but that's to be expected. Different drivers give slightly different information as you drive from stop to stop. Third city I've done this in and I would keep doing it. read more

Great find for good information and free parking! The tour takes you all around the tourist parts of town and the guides are friendly and very knowledgeable. There are numerous stops and even the lowest priced ticket gets you 3 days worth of rides...Oh, and did I mention you can park for free! Very nice tour overall, a bit of a bumpy ride at times but you can get on and off as often as you like. I suggest riding the entire route the first time and listening to all the info the guide has to offer and then get off where you want from that point forward. read more

I'm very pleased to add to this review that Old Town Trolley has followed through with their satisfaction gaurantee. I had an unfortunate situation during my visit but they have done what they can to make up for it and I am very satisfied with the customer service response. I would give them another chance, but I wouldn't recommend Christmas through New Years week. I don't recommend purchasing tickets online, since you won't know how crowded it is until you actually park and see the first trolley stop. There's a place to buy tickets in front of the jailhouse where the main trolley parking lot is. The lines and waits will be evident from that point as to whether it is worth waiting for the trolley to have seats. Also, purchasing trolley tickets does NOT get you into the individual attractions. The ticket is only for the unlimited hop on/off rides on the trolley and the information your driver shares with you to familiarize you with the city and it's historic attractions. read more

Best way to see and learn about this beautiful city! Their staff is amazing and friendly. My kids, age 7 and 5, have loved riding through town and seeing the old jail and alligator farm. We had really awesome tour guides. However at 3:45 we were at the fountain of youth parking lot waiting on a trolley, we had three full trolleys come in and were unable to board any of them. By the time the last one came we missed getting on the last trolley. I feel like if a group of people had been passed that many times then the company might make provisions for a final trolley tour. We have always had a great experience with this company but this instance that was a large hiccup. read more

We had Davey Jones as our tour guide. He seems to be the best. We got to St. Augustine late so it was a great overview. He was funny, personable and very informative. A free museum ticket comes with it. The museum is cute and quick to go through. Not a lot there but it is great for free. Trash service. Sat waiting for trolleys more than I've been on one today. All workers advertise no longer than a 15 min wait for the trolleys in town yet I waited multiple times for 30+ limits. My family did a 3 day tour package with this company to tour St. Augustine. We loved being able to get on and off this trolley at the different stops. We were visiting from Tennessee and two of the ladies in our family require special care and attention, one being in a wheelchair. The tour drivers were very patient in waiting for us to load and unload. We enjoyed how each one had different "tidbits" of their own to add to the history of the city. It was all very informative. Pro's takes you to places free parking (way up town though) on and off privileges overall, I say its good. Con's bit expensive...lower it to about $20 per person to start seat is very uncomfortable at times they are full and takes a while to get another trolley route is designed to take time not to take you the most efficient way(round and round....see same stuff twice going to the next stop etc) Old Town Museum is free regardless whether you buy the trolley ticket or not! read more

We were staying on St. Augustine Beach and they will pick you up and take you downtown where you can meet up with the Trolly system they have going thru out town. This tour was way too expensive for the service we received. The shuttles were supposed to spaced 15 minutes apart, but because of traffic and other factors this would not the case. So then you are left to make a decision should you wait, and wait, and wait and end up wasting 30 minutes waiting on a bus, or walk and waste your money. By 4, we were wanting to head back to our car, we waited 45 minutes and 3 FULL trolley cars before we decided to walk 12 blocks. Every time a trolley came, they said they were calling to send an empty trolley and it would be there in 5 mins, no such luck. Ridiculous, over priced service. The golf carts we saw for rent seemed like the better deal. Get to st sugustine AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE! By 4 O clock the city was packed. read more

Nice way to get around town but not enough time to do everything. Tour was sold to us as every 15 min we could catch a tour, we were left stranded en several areas for more than 35 min, which caused us to not complete our attraction, ( had to get an uber) . And they charged my account 2 times and have not received refund yet. Not so good customer service. read more

Worth the price of online tix purchase. Ride the whole route then get on and off where you like. Lot of the trolleys pretty full at each stop otherwise a 5 star. May have to wait a couple of them to get back on. Most of the shopping and dining is on St. George so walking in order anyways read more

Bud picked us up at the hotel in the trolley shuttle and dropped us off at the first stop he was very informative and made us smile the whole time teaching us on the way about the city. We recently spent a week in January in the Saint Augustine area. In my opinion the Old Towne Trolley was the best way to get around the area and the free parking was a plus. The drivers/cast were always helpful and willing to pass on a little bit of history. We had a multi-day pass and utilized each day using the trolley weather to the light house or down to the chocolate factory and winery tour and tasting. We have used this company's services in other cities and areas where they operate. I can say we have never been disappointed with the experience and where very happy this time. read more
