I didn't realize it was also a wine bar, but you can order a glass (or even a small half glass!) and also shop for bottles of wine. The owner was really nice and also quite helpful in recommending wines to me based on my preferences. I wanted to branch out and try something new, and I walked away with two bottles. So far I've uncorked one of them and have really enjoyed it. One was a Spanish wine Rioja and the other was an Italian wine, Nebbiolo. The shop itself is nestled in the heart of historic downtown Yuma (dreamy as is!) but to top it off, the entire ambiance inside of the shop FEELS like you're in the wine cellar of a beautiful vineyard. It's such a neat place here in Yuma and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it! I can't wait to return to try some new wines and even sit to have a glass there to enjoy the beautiful setting.

You can tell he genuinely loves cigars and enjoys helping others discover something new. So, just ask him to recommend a stick if you're feeling like trying something new or not sure what would hit the spot. With his recommendations, I ended up taking home a few My Father, Oliva Serie V Melanio, and Arturo Fuente cigars. It wasn't a sales pitch--it was just a great conversation between cigar enthusiasts. Unfortunately, I was traveling through and couldn't stay to enjoy a cigar in the lounge, but that's definitely on my list next time. It was just me this visit, but the next time I'm in the area I'll be calling a few friends to meet me here so we can relax, enjoy a few great cigars, and spend some quality time together. If you're anywhere near Yuma and appreciate premium cigars and knowledgeable service, Sun of a Gun Cigars is absolutely worth the stop. The interior is inviting and the chairs are very comfortable. One day, surprisingly, you hear rumblings about one of the owners being moderately homophobic. Noooo...that can't be true! They've always treated you kindly enough. Moving on... You spend $10 buying a tile to decorate that will get hung in the bathroom. Super gay, you paint the tile in the most rainbow fashion possible. Once you complete your tile & turn it in, the next time you come in, you're given your tile back with a note that's supposed to be from the owner, saying your tile has been ruined & they're "sorry". Amazingly...that note was written in handwriting that's not the owner but seems very similar to another bartender. If I'm wrong....please let me know. Do I get my money back? Do you ignore what happened? Do you ignore the amazingly strange occurrence re: perceived homophobic behavior? I tried to bring it up with the bartender on duty (& remedy the situation before coming to Facebook) and was told "NO WAY that could be true."
