My absolute favorite bar, and place in Yuma to play pool. Always get the best service from the bartenders here, and they're all super kind snd attentive. The prices, super affordable-- both for drinks and pool (pool is free on Sundays). Table is well kept, and there's two tables so usually pretty easy to get one unless it's later during a Friday or Saturday. Even when they are tho, I always manage to be able to play a game within 30 minutes of getting there. The best part, there's a taco truck outside. They serve breakfast burritos, tacos, burgers, even shrimp and fish tacos. All well priced as well. The carne asada tacos are probably my favorite, they come loaded with everything you could need. Great place to have karaoke (Tuesday,Thursday) 5:00pm) wedding anniversary party reunions. Mike is a great host accommodating to all events. And if you are hungry there's a food truck outside in the front parking lot. read more

I've been going to Sage & Sand for karaoke on Thursday nights for a few weeks now, and the wildest thing happened to me tonight. I'd been ordering beer all night and wanted to cap it off with a mixed drink. I ordered it, and the bartender was a bit in the weeds, so he made a few other drinks, then gets to mine. He pours in the liquor, then goes and deals with someone else's tab. Then he comes back, THROWS THE LIQUOR OUT OF THE MIXER INTO THE SINK, and then proceeds to make the rest of the drink without any alcohol. He serves it to me and I ask 'wait is this mine' and he says yeah so I take it, and by the time I've tried it someone has taken my spot at the bar to order. Now, it pretty clearly just tastes like straight lemon juice and soda water, which without any alcohol to cut it is pretty nasty, but I'm not SURE sure because what the bartender did was so weird that I'm not sure I believed what I saw. So I'm bitching about what I think happened to the rest of my table, and one of the people I came with goes up and tells the bartender that it tastes like it doesn't have any alcohol in it. The bartender says 'well I definitely put some in there but I can make it a double'. So I get my drink back and it finally tastes right, which makes me sure that before it was completely wrong. To be clear it DID NOT taste like a double at this point. The rest of the table convinced me that I couldn't say anything to anyone because what happened was so weird that no one would believe me. That they'd assume I was trying to cheat them or something. So to be clear, we did not try to get the price knocked down or anything. We just left. Anyway I really wanted this place to be my weekly spot, but I don't think I can come back. read more

The lounge is chill and prices are right, but the raves are for the food truck. I love me a good burger. Burger theory is really good. Harvey's is better. But, this huge, tasty, perfectly cooked, seasoned and topped is probably my local winner. Fries were hot, crispy and good. ( I don't like fried potatoes, but I ate some of them here and enjoyed. Glad to see his majesty the Governor allowed the Sage to open back up, even if their stipulations were unreasonable. Had a great visit. AC was blowing ice cold, jams were bumping and the bar tender was very attentive... not to mention very attractive. As Arnold said in the original Terminator movie... Ill be back! read more

I'm from San Diego, I came down to visit my sister who is a Yuma native and boy let me tell you this place was really great! The food and drinks are on point! My sister and friends did a last hoorah last night here and she had a good time she has cancer and we know that it was going to be her last time to have some drinks for a while and well I just want to say thank you to the owners of this place, truly from the bottom of my heart you made my sisters night. read more

Very cool place to hang out. Selection of beer is slightly limited but they have what I like so no worries. Prices for drinks are very reasonable and he bartender the served me was fast. It brings in mixed crowds all the time so you never know who you'll meet. Outdoor patio is plenty big for private parties. The only thing I could say negative is the inside lacks atmosphere. A shit ton of ceiling fans and no mood lighting. Otherwise a great place to chill. read more

I drove to yuma from San Diego to visit my friend. I saw Sage and Sand on instagram and had to check the new place out. I was able to watch a live band and enjoy a couple of their signature drinks. I love, love, love their Peaches and Almonds, smells good and taste good too. I love fruity drinks! I also tried their bang bang burger and s&s nachos. The jalapeños were spicy enough to tingle my tongue and still enjoy the whole taste of the burger and nachos. I love the new place. Very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be back again when I'm in Yuma. read more

I've been coming to this bar for 30 years whenever I come over from San Diego and it's my favorite bar in Yuma. Always a lively, friendly crowd. Great bartenders, great drinks, great prices. You can't do better than this as far as bars go in Yuma! read more
