Truly one of the best liquor stores in T-Town. Knowledgeable staff, and I know the owners are great folks too. A lot of the folks that have worked there are, like me, teachers just tryna get by. Good knowledgeable staff, a great selection, and centrally located with plenty of parking (you know who you are, other stores). Especially if you are looking for a great bottle of wine at a reasonable price stop by! We all know that booze is an essential service in these trying times. Gaining knowledge about different wines is something I hope to acquire. Right now, my knowledge extends around fantastic boxed wines - which I love! When there is the means to splurge on a bottle, the guys and gals here are eager to help when I ask. They showcase great local wines and I tend to always pick up the organic option when I can. The venue is spacious and well organized. Perk: Conveniently in the same shopping center as Whole Foods so picking up some wine munchies is easy peasy. Wine is largest component of alcohol served here but there is also a good selection of beer and liquor as well. Much nicer and much bigger than I thought it would be. Everything was arranged so precisely, it looked like a picture. Like most places, they had my Beringers White Zin with the cheap wine! I didn't care much for the employees, I didn't ask for advice. It seemed like wine was their main focus, but I saw cases of beer and liquor around the walls. I visited Old Village wine and spirits today to pick up some beer. I couldn't find my style of beer because the store was under renovation but the staff was quick to locate the style of beer that I wanted and take it up to the checkout stand for me. The cashier was nice and thanked me for coming in. Parking is right outside the front door and they do offer to carry your purchase out if you would like. Nice store. I will go back again. read more

I am not the type of customer this place wants. I think this is a serious wine place for people who know their alcohol? That's not me. My husband and I don't drink. I was trying to stock up on some cooking wine (cheap and easy to store red, white, and rice), they didn't have it. All the employees were standing around and answering my questions, but I felt very uncomfortable. They seemed really confuse that someone would want to buy cheap wine to keep in their house for cooking. Anyways, I should have gone to the wine place near my house or near my tailor. The people at those other places are very nice and not judgey. I won't be making that mistake again. read more

Decent selection but the staff always seems bummed to see a new customer... maybe like they're hungover. You walk in and it's dead silent (no music or anything) with three people working all slumped over their phones, pale and wan, and not a single one of them greets you as you walk in. It's a weird vibe. Upon checking out, you're rung up by some neurotic weirdo who doesn't look at you and barely greets you as you buy a $60 bottle of wine!! Wtf?!? This place SUCKS. read more

I used to frequent this place a lot more often before the state laws changed. While it's easier to pick up a bottle of wine or six pack from the grocery store, Old Village Wine and Sprits still has one of the best selections around. It is super convenient on Brookside right near three grocery stores. They have reasonable hours, and the employees are super friendly and helpful. read more

This is the most convenient liquor store to shop at after I do my marketing next door at Whole Foods. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The store is clean and the prices are about right. The downside is selection. If you're stopping by for hard liquor or wine you will probably find something to satisfy your initial desire... it might not be exactly the brand/label you were looking for but they have you covered with a rather large selection of Red, White, etc. The downfall is the beer selection. While not all too terrible for Oklahoma it holds no comparison to some of the other Tulsa shops. They recently expanded and that seems to have allowed them to stock a few more brews but I still don't see some of the labels I'm looking for which forces me to drive across town to a different shop in search of good suds. All in all, you'll find something to wet your whistle here and you'll get fast and curious service while you do it. It won't break your bank and if you're not from out of town you aren't likely to be that disappointed with the selection. If you're not a local or at least have lived in a place like Texas or California where you can get just about anything you want - you might be frustrated at the selection. read more

Simply stated - RUDE STAFF. They seem to get annoyed when a customer comes into the store. I want bother them again!

The biggest downfall to this place is the service. Almost everyone who works here is a hipster who acts like they would rather be anywhere but in a liquor store helping people out. Once I was in here and the owner/manager wanted to close early for some reason and was literally kicking people out and not letting them in the store. Talk about a terrible business owner -- when you have people clamoring to give you money you don't prevent them from obtaining your product. I mean, seriously.... the guy was literally turning away money. As someone who has a small business owner in the family, I can tell you this is just a downright terrible business practice. Another problem this place has is that multiple times I've been in here they didn't have what I was looking for. I honestly can't remember what I was looking for specifically, but it was really obvious and common beers and liquors that they didn't even have a place for. The only reason I gave this two stars at all instead of one is that (unfortunately) they really have some of the best prices in town on a lot of products, so when I get in a pinch to get some booze and I HAVE to go here for whatever reason, it's light on the wallet. Other than that, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. There are plenty of other liquor stores in town that, albeit a hair more expensive, are much friendlier and have a better selection. read more

I am a patron of the store every weekend. I was VERY disappointed when the clerk at the register refused a man (obviously down on his luck) his purchase because he was short 6 cents. The men behind me gladly gave him his short comings, purchase made, and then left. Then the clerk in the pastel plaid shirt says "I hate when people that come in. Their money is all warm and sticky. Like when women come in and pully the money out their bra." I finished my transaction and then told him he "I'm sure he couldn't help it." and that he was a "F****** A******" This place is usually great but this is the first time I saw this clerk and he needs to go. read more

Great variety of wines at all price points. Very friendly and active in donating wine for charity events on a regular basis.

Great selection, helpful staff & the owner is terrific - very generous to local charitable events.
