2 stars for service, 5 for food, so this is an average. I inquired about the Rhubarb Sour and the answer was "It's a sour." Oh really? And there's rhubarb in it? I was grudgingly told it had whiskey as apparently all sours are. Except they're not. Pisco sour anyone? My sister and I ordered a salad apiece and a Reuben to split. They delivered one Reuben and one salad. Eventually delivered a second salad after we explained. We were never asked if we wanted another beverage or more water. Waited a long time to get the check and dirty dishes were never cleared. Asked for 1 check and got 3. Too bad because the menu is awesome! read more

I just had the Nashville Mac and Cheese and it was TO DIE FOR! I had it delivered to my hotel room so I have no comments on service. The dish was still warm and it was very creamy not dry like sometimes Mac and cheese dishes are. Outstanding blend of cheeses. The fried chicken bites were VERY tender and just the right level of spicy. Great flavor overall. I'm a salt-o-Holic...so while I appreciated that salt was included without even asking... Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing- I'm a huge fan of the smashed peas! We had a nice happy hour evening here. We weren't very hungry and thought we were going to have to split something from the main menu. But the drink menu has a lighter bar menu snack....the small fish & chips and small bangers and mash were perfect for our situation. We had a table outdoors and omg the food was so good! Was there for the first time earlier tonight. Loved the environment. Loved the different paint colors on every wall, and ceiling; they all worked together perfectly. The sangria was absolutely delicious! The scotch eggs were nice and crispy on the outside but the inside yolk of the egg was cooked soft instead of hard like whistle binkies which made it so much more delicious and easier to eat. The guinness gravy is packed full of flavor, so rich and thick and delicious. Loved the grilled bangers. I even liked the creamed cabbage. The smashed peas were so absolutely friggen delicious I should have gotten an extra side of them!! I can't wait to come back! Now the couple minuses while I was there. I watched the bartender move sliced pickles from one holding compartment to another with bare hands and also watched the same guy get the fancy square ice cubes to make a couple drinks with his bare hands. read more

When I try to imagine an old Irish pub this place come to mind. My first time here. Everything about this place was excellent. The bar is as authentic as you'll find. The menu covered all the bases from bangers to Irish stew to fish and chips. I personally had the bangers and they were delicious. They have several varieties of draft beer along with an extensive liquor selection. The beer was cold and served with enthusiasm. I really like both. Tried for first time today, their 3rd day after opening. Everything is take-out only (due to COVID) so we took away Guinness Fish and Chips. Had popped a baking sheet in the oven before we left to pick up, and then heated the F&C for about 5 minutes after arriving home. Verdict? - very good! First and last time for us at this establishment. Four of us came in for dinner early this evening. I'm giving it two stars for the SERVER only. He was very nice and personable though overworked I fear, as it took a VERY long time for the whole dinner experience. Insofar as my meal went it gets zilch stars. I ordered the $30 tenderloin steak and asked for mashed potatoes instead of the pilaf and that, unbeknownst to me, brought my meal to $32. It was the WORST, most stringy and tough steak I have ever had eating out! And that's saying a lot because we eat out frequently and have all over this country. The waiter said he'd comp me a dessert while the chef and some other person "discussed" what to do about my dinner. Well, what their discussion came up with was a credit of $2 for subbing potatoes for the pilaf and the free dessert. Even the waiter remarked that when he took my steak back he put a fork in it and was shocked at how tough it was. So as I said, NEVER again. If you want to have a drink I'm sure it's a great place but as for their food and especially their steaks and their chef and his "discussions", fugettaboutit. We will never go back there. My 3 family members concur as their burger meals were mediocre at best. All in all I'd rather have paid for my dessert and gotten an apology on my meal which should have been comped or at least they could have knocked half off it, but no. They have mostly amazing food and service, but yesterday when going to what was now one of my favorite restaurants I was a bit upset when I found out the severe food poisoning I got was from what was a delicious cheese steak sandwich. Come to find out multiple other people I know have also gotten severely sick from this sandwich as well. I was up at about 4am puking the entire thing up in the most painful way ever. Not only that but my girlfriend had ordered the Nashville Mac and cheese which tasted great the first 3 bites till she realized the sheer amount of oil and grease that was in it leaving it a very nasty meal a 1/4 of the way through eating it. I'm in no way saying not to go here because I truly believe the atmosphere, service, and most of the food is incredible, but if you go I very highly recommend not eating the cheese steak if you don't want to get violently sick, or the Mac n cheese If you prefer to not have more oil and grease then actual food. read more
