My father was there for only 2 weeks and fell 3 times, resulting in a fractured rib. His room was not cleaned within those 2 weeks and he was not seen by a physician (as required) until his second hospital visit. A paramedic called me to voice their concern about his level of care, when his sugar levels were 380. I called the complaint number to finally get management to act. Definitely find a better facility- there's a reason why there are empty rooms and no wait list.

Families rave about the care their loved one receives from the loving staff. The in-house medical services are excellent. It's a very socially active community which the residents thrive on. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are tiled with zero-threshold shower stalls...nicer than my own at home! This is a private pay community (no Medicaid). I work at Ranson Ridge and many of the other staff members have been there with me since we opened. We are proud to be a part of such a wonderful place!

In the beginning my father required 24 hour care and then he changed to eight hour care then back to 24 hour care... there was occasional consistency at best. I must give a big shout out to Janice and Jenny who are absolutely fabulous! Janice would work double shifts to care for my dad! There was no doubt that these 2 took great care of my father. However, on the other hand we had 1 caregiver fall asleep on the job and 1 that could not stay off her phone. My appreciation to Amada for sending invoices and notes to my dad's long term health care insurance plan. Brad generally responds right away and tells you what want to hear whether completely up front or not. Overall, I would give Amada 3 stars but Janice and Jenny deserve 5 stars!

When you have a family member or friend, spouse that has to be in assisted living- you can trust that the Angels in Huntersville, NC will treat them like family. I chose to volunteer in my home town for Hospice and see lots of facilities - not homes. This place should be very proud of the culture they have for taking care of their patients and making it a home. Thank you Angels for taking such good care of my Grandpa. Whenever I visited, I was treated warmly, and my father was always resting comfortably in a clean room and a pristine bed, with carefully laundered, comfortable clothes. He had dementia, so he was unable to tell us how the staff was treating him (and never having been the type of person to complain) we had to take non-verbal cues. All the cues pointed to a staff that was both patient and caring. Trust was essential to us and something we considered heavily before deciding on a place for our beloved father. During his final days, our family experienced feelings that I cannot properly put into words here. Likewise, I am unable to express how sensitive the staff was in their treatment of my father. I imagine that they deal with loss on a regular basis, but never once did they regard our grief casually. My father was a kind, gentle, man and was known for his singing voice, his whistling, his love of jazz and his love of the Word. The staff made sure he was able to enjoy all these things during his final days. They all knew him by name, and said he was easy to care for and easy to care about. This was evident in their heartfelt farewell. You can not pay someone to care, and [care] is what they did here. Perhaps I have not adequately relayed, but in my heart I will absolutely, always appreciate every last member of this staff for giving of themselves so selflessly, when it counted most.
