I have used their services for my…read moredog, Maggie, and unfortunately there have been multiple safety concerns during grooming appointments. On two separate occasions, my dog came home with injuries--once with her paws cut too short to the point that she required veterinary attention, and another time with an injury near her eye. Despite giving the business the benefit of the doubt after these incidents, I continued to try their services. After booking a future appointment, I was then called and informed that they would be cancelling and no longer providing services for my dog moving forward. While I understand any business can choose to discontinue service, the decision felt abrupt given the history of prior incidents and lack of resolution or discussion. Overall, I am disappointed with both the safety experience and the way the situation was handled. I would not feel comfortable recommending this groomer to others.

I drop my dog off, she's an older Maltipoo, and I get a call about an hour later saying she had a dryer seizure and in the "chaos and confusion" has somehow become injured and is bleeding from her head so they can't groom her. They say she may have bit her tongue, hit her head, they really have no idea what happened because it was just "so chaotic". That alone is absolutely ridiculous. My dog has been regularly groomed her whole life and has never once had any kind of seizure. She has lost 75% of her hearing in her older age. The whole idea behind a dryer seizure is that it is too loud and noisy and overstimulating. I go to pick my dog up and they are BLASTING music in the back grooming room. I mean truly so loud that you cannot even have a conversation up front when the door to the back is open. I see our groomer in the back with big noise cancelling headphones on, which I don't even blame her, even as a human being I would not be able to stand being in that room, yet they have the audacity to blame it on the dryers. I get my dog and she seems okay other than clearly wanting to get out of that place as soon as possible. She couldn't wait to get out the door. I then have to spend my time and money taking her to the vet to get checked out and there is no sign whatsoever that she bit her tongue, hit her head, bled at all anywhere, or had any kind of seizure which they cannot recreate. Either these people are full of it and not being straight about what happened or they're just extremely incompetent. Don't trust these people with your animals. Just go somewhere else.

Thor listened when I told him about our dogs allergies- he came up with some ideas and delivered different kinds of food to our home (no charge) After trying the food our dog liked the lamb and the salmon- I ordered it and they delivered it the next day (with some blueberry/ pumpkin treats) If you are a pet owner they will bring samples to your home - after you choose what food they like -the Pet Pantry delivers no charge ( even bring it in if I want). Be sure and sign up for the Birthday club - our dog got a cool toy with an awesome Birthday card with a very special Birthday wish- and of course some Birthday treats. I called to make an appointment only to be told that they do not take new clients that are older than 10 years old. Because my puppy has had a few more birthdays than some, he doesn't deserve the pampering? I am willing to bet that he is healthier than some other dogs much younger than him. I cried actual tears because I felt so bad. This is discrimination and ageism. So glad that this led me to another groomer that did a wonderful job on him.

They said she didn't have a good temperament and was a 2/10, but I took her to another groomer, and they cut ALL her nails in under 5 minutes. As well, on top of that she got groomed a couple of days ago and is already starting to smell, she's not an outside dog right now because she doesn't have all her shots, so she has no reason to smell at all, which makes me think they didn't bathe her. After my first sip, I wished there was a 24 oz. That was the best iced latte ever!!! The coffee cake was so perfect, but made me wish I had a hot latte to accompany it...I'll have to go back!! ‍Reactive dog owner here!…read more I'd like to start off by saying I have never had a bad experience at any of the Unleashed locations! The staff at each store are absolutely phenomenal. I frequent this store for their dog bathing station. General Unleashed info: I always call ahead to reserve a spot for a bath- you must do this to ensure they have time for you. Baths are reserved for an hour. They usually fill up quickly for a weekend spot but I've never had any issues with same day reservations so long as you are flexible. I also really appreciate that the staff has always been super considerate and understanding when I specify that my dog is reactive to both other dogs and some people. I usually let them know while he looks super approachable because he's so fluffy and cute () he's kind of a butthead with strangers (). They always respond with kindness and politely give him plenty of space when we come in- and also let us know if there are other dogs in the store when we come in! I cannot tell you how much reassurance this gives us as owners to a reactive dog- we appreciate this courtesy so much! Protip: buy the frequent bather card! $60 for 4 baths and your 5th is free! They link this to your phone number so you don't have to worry about losing the card and it is good for use at any of their locations! Cary specific: The bathing area is in the back of the store where they stock bigger items. There is a baby gate and curtain you can use for some privacy but as my dog is reactive and as the location of the bath is open to the public I do wish there was a door just for peace of mind. We have had instances where other curious customers try to peek in the bathing area which has caused my pup to freak out a bit. The room is a little tight but you can make do with two adults plus your pup. I would say the bathing station is a good size for dogs up to the 60-ish lb range. 70 and up might be a tight squeeze. The always are stocked with plenty of soap/conditioner/ear cleaning/grooming tools! TL;DR $15 self bathing station, well worth the price for not having to clean up/well stocked bathing area and very accommodating staff.
