This wonderful, cozy eatery is a favorite with hs. Everything is fresh-made. Their daily lunch special changes every day and includes soup, sandwich, chips, pickle, and tea or lemonade. We love the photos on the wall of Aransas Pass from the 1920s. Honestly, you can't find a better soup or sandwich anywhere else, and the prices are reasonable. The owner is friendly and oversees all good prep. It's located right across the street from Aransas Pass HEB. Give it a try for a really good weekday lunch! read more

No coffee menu, which made ordering confusing. The place was filthy/smelly, and the method of making coffee was strange and off-putting. Overall, a very odd and uncomfortable experience. To the point I didn't even want to try it. Would not return. read more

My sister recommended we pickup lunch from here. I wasn't expecting anything special from a hole in the wall restaurant but I was sure wrong about that. I think the ham and cheese panini I had was one of the best sandwiches I had in a very long time. The tomato basil soup was delicious as well. You could tell they use fresh ingredients and put a lot of thought into their food. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was because my chips were a little soggy from being in a box with a steaming hot sandwich, but other than that everything was perfect. I am in town visiting from Austin for a weekend. I was looking for a coffee shop that I could sit at and complete some work. This place was perfect, the shop itself is really cute, the baristas are extremely nice and were willing to explain anything that I had a question about, and the Caramel Cold Brew is some of the best coffee I've ever had. We stopped here on our way out of town from Port A. The Snickerdoodle iced coffee was DELICIOUS!! I had an English muffin breakfast sandwich, hubby had the same. Very friendly staff! I ordered the Mel's melt and it was delicious, I also had a white chocolate mocha iced coffee that was very good. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
