I tried to find a cheaper part for my car but his prices were dead on to what I could have paid. The only downside was paying a diagnostic fee that wasn't added into the repair. I do have someone locally (Dunn, NC) that I use and he includes the fee into the service. Not sure how most other mechanics do their fees. Overall he finished the work within 2 hours and I was back on the road. He was polite and a pleasure to deal with. He didn't try to break our pockets either. I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone.

To start off when I first…read morewalked in I was in a panic because I was headed to Michigan to take my kids home and I was supposed to get a rental car and that fell though so I was in a panic on making sure I got my car safe to drive a 13 drive there and back. Chris immediately insured me that I was in good hands and he was going to take care of me, and that was an understatement! He did so very much for me. I don't have the best car and it definitely wasn't safe to take 13 hrs there and back the way it was but when I left it most definitely was safe! I went there with very little money and knew I at least needed 2 tires because my tires were completely bald. And I knew I needed an alignment because I didn't want my alignment to ruin my new tires but I knew I didn't have the money for all that, he went outside to check my tires and he immediately came in and said you know you need windshield wipers it's blade to windshield and I completely forgot about that but he definitely was right (he wasn't trying to get money out of me!), I let him know only had to much money and he said no problem I am going to make sure you are going to get to and from Michigan safe with your kids! He then about 2 hrs later after he done out my car on the alignment stand and checked that and stated to me just to let you know you need front break pads, I asked him if I would make it there and back safe, and he said my personal opinion would be no. Well at this time I was already over $40 out of budget and I was panicking, well I came up wit the money because at this point I definitely trust him and he did that also. I could of not got a better price anywhere else or someone who cared so much about our well being. He did 2 tires, break pads, 2 windshield wipers, and an alignment! Husband heard noises when driving from the front of his Ram truck near the wheels. He took it in…read morethinking he needed an alignment. They told him the upper and lower control arms needed replacing which was going to be a $2700 job. We wanted to get a second opinion so we went to c-side auto repair. They told us that the control arms were perfectly fine and the only thing that was wrong was the wheel bearings on the passenger side were bad. So instead of paying $2700 we paid $400. What's scary is that if we would've paid the money to get the control arms replaced my husband would still be driving on bad wheel bearings. It's unfortunate that Mavis would rather upcharge you for a job that doesn't even need to be done rather than worry about your safety and the safety of others on the road. Highly recommend c side auto repair!
