My wife took her Nissan Altima in for an oil change and the next morning there was an oil puddle in the driveway. I took it back and they said they fixed it and ordered a replacement panel that was ruined by the oil leak. Then tonight, there is still oil leaking. Not impressed. I recently had a flat tire that needed repair. They were very friendly and accommodating. I dropped the car off during my lunch break and they dropped me off at home so that I could get back to work. During a trip from Northern Virginia to Emerald Isle on 7/18/2021, we encountered elevated engine temps and occasional hot air blowing from our A/C. We arrived at our destination, but needed the vehicle checked. I called Ingram on Monday, 7/19, and took it to them immediately after speaking with Phil. Phil called on 7/20 and provided a detailed list of everything Ingram performed to determine there were no problems with my cooling system or A/C. Phil attributed my issues to the high outside temps and humidity, plus towing a travel trailer in those conditions. Ingram provided me with peace of mind that was much needed. My vehicle went in for a 2 day exhaust repair and was kept over a month with worse damage done at the repair shop! A $1465 estimate is now being said to be a $4800 tab when I let the owner know there was a $1600 cap on my ability to pay! Very poor communications from the shop. Had I known they could not do this repair job as stated, I would have been happy to drive my vehicle away and had the work done somewhere else but I was not afforded that chance.Not reccommending this business to anyone. read more

I was on Emerald Isle and my fuel pump went out, 2 days before I was to return to FL. I called a company on the island, but they could not fix it till Monday or Tuesday of next week, no good, I had to be at work on Monday. So I called Ingram, he had the first company I called tow my vehicle to his garage, told me he would be able to check it that day and probably have it fixed the next day, Friday. GREAT! He called later that day and said yes, it is the fuel pump, and they would fix it the next day. Very friendly people there. I called him around noon the next day, he said the tank was out and the pump going in, it will be ready this afternoon, :) Around 3 pm he called said it's ready, and they wanted to get out early for the weekend, so I was there quickly and picked it up, thanked them, pd and on my way..... Ingram autocare is as good as is gets. I had a brake caliper bracket come loose on my suburban while visiting Emerald Isle and it broke my aluminum wheel leaving us stranded. They went out of their way to provide me with fast professional service at a reasonable rate. I normally don't leave reviews but this experience was just too good to leave unreported. They fixed our car the same afternoon and saved us from having to rent a car for the weekend. read more

My husband and I have known and used Phil's for over 14 years, since we moved to the area. He and his family and crew have been so helpful and always provides great service at more than fair rates. My husband was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers and placed in a home. It is difficult to get my car(s) down to Phil's if work is needed. He sends 2 of his staff/family to pick the car up and they deliver it when completed. Not only do I fully trust their work but the concern for the customer's needs are incredible.
