Grated cheese on our food is always a good thing!

Came here for a lunch outing. It was the weekend and not crowded during our visit. We didn't wait long for our table and the host was pleasant while seating us. We started with an appetizer of fried lasagna, a glass of red wine, and a pitcher of sangria, which were all good. The ambiance was quiet and reserved as we went late afternoon on a Saturday, which was a good time. We ordered the never ending pasta bowl which included various pasta with different sauces (additional cost for chicken and other proteins). I got the spaghetti with meat sauce, followed by the rigatoni with a spicy red sauce. Others got the fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce (added chicken for an additional cost). The pastas were fresh and delicious. We love the grated cheese that is always offered to top your meal! The spicy red sauce was my favorite! And of course, the tossed salad and garlic breadsticks were as good as ever. I couldn't eat all of my second round of pasta and ended up bringing it home (it reheated well!) All in all, a great meal as always.

I had a wonderful time visiting the Williamsburg location for Olive Garden restaurant. The host and the hostess greeted me with warm, smiles, and holiday greetings. I did not have to wait very long for my table to be ready. I had done some shopping in the area and wanted something warm and cozy to eat. As soon as I was seated, I was greeted by a wonderful server named Carrie. She greeted me with a warm smile, and asked me what I wanted to drink. She also asked me that I have any questions about the menu while I was trying to peruse the many options. I did not at the time. I wanted some cavatappi noodles, but they no longer carry that variety. Carrie suggested some other options that were just as flavorful. While I was waiting, I was greeted by a wonderfully warm manager named Karen. She asked me how the day was going and thank me for coming to Olive Garden for dinner. She was so positive and made sure that I felt at home. She kept an eye on all of the servers, and ensure that all of the guests were happy and well taken care of. When there were tables that were open and people were there, and she went over and greeted them and asked them was there anything that could be done to make our stay even better. I think that having a manager who is on the floor and making sure that everyone is OK is a wonderful touch. I decided on the fettuccine Alfredo with the chicken and spinach. I also opted for the zuppa Toscana soup as it was one of my favorites. The bowl of soup came out quickly along with my drink order. Carrie brought over some breadsticks to make sure that it was a great accompaniment to my soup. The soup was fresh and delicious. It had big pieces of potato and the sausage, and it was quite hardy. I received my chicken fettuccine with spinach and it was delicious. I had to take the rest with me because I was so stuffed from the food before that Carrie made sure that I had a bag to carry my stuff and she even provided me with extra cutlery as I wanted to make sure I had something to eat with later. I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service at this Olive Garden location. I had a great time and will be back. When you are at the location as for the manager, Karen and she will make sure that you have a great stay.

This was my first time ever at an olive garden. Id have to say, it was a very good first experience. The food was amazing. (i added a picture) Our waiter was VERY nice. (props to Even ) The olive garden was very clean and fancy looking. The desserts were ABSOLUTELY delicious and i devoured it. If your looking for a good olive garden, this is the one. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The service was also very fast. worth going to! 5 stars!! :)

Only ate the noodles because we had no other option

The food was terrible. I ordered a shrimp and chicken carbonara and it had No shrimp and was make with green peppers that made the dish very bitter. Call to report and was placed on hold. Smh. After such a long trip to Virginia my family and I was very disappointed because we love Olive Garden.

I went to Olive Garden to caught up which a friend. Our server Jack was a nice guy and really friendly. I had ordered the chicken fettuccine Marsala. That dish was good and slightly sweet due to the wine. The manager Cathy came by to check on us which was great. I had ordered the fry doughnuts which were good. Overall the atmosphere is friendly and good food.

Love this place. Our waitress Nora was sweet and funny. Food amazing. A little expensive but worth it. My big back loves this place I could eat for hours.

However, I would not recommend the brownie and chocolate sundae dessert. The brownie and cookie were cold and hard, which made the dessert disappointing. On the positive side, the carrot cake was huge and definitely worth sharing -- easily enough for 3-4 people. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, Second Street American delivers great food variety, strong service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, with just a few misses on dessert.

Nothing wrong with this little grab-and-go carry out shop but at the same time, I wouldn't call it anything ahhhhmazzzzinggggg that would warrant more than just an average 3 star rating. Better than and more options than a hotel lobby self serve "mini mart." They serve self serve coffee (Members, don't forget to ask for your complimentary daily coffee tickets upon check-in!) but this place also has a barista for hot or iced lattes. Decent lattes, thankfully made with espresso shots not watered down or weak & wimpy. On par with what you would get at Starbucks. The latte menu is NOT extensive so don't expect a long latte/coffee drink menu like at Starbucks. I posted a pic of the latte/tea/juice/bfast sando menu with prices so have a look. Staff is SUPER NICE but both times I was there getting a hot latte, there was ONE WORKER each time running cash AND barista-ing. Not many more can fit behind that tiny ordering counter frankly. Thus - if you see any kind of long line, BE PREPARED TO WAIT. Or come back during non-rush hours. (Remember this is a conference center so it is highly likely conference attendees will be lining up to order before the start of the conference day and in between sessions throughout the day!) I read on their website that all their baked goods and pastries as well as sandwiches, salads etc are freshly house made there on prem so that's nice. Prices are not break the bank (for a hotel). My small hot vanilla latte was $7. Like I said - as a hotel lobby grab-and-go so you don't have to walk far or drive to get your latte-fix on, The Cupboard is right-there-convenient and will absolutely do just fine. If you DO feel like going off the property to go to an indie coffee shop, I drove to and tried the relatively new Grit Coffee in Midtown for the first time - pretty good (read my review and see my pics): Or go to the ever-famous Aromas in CW near the William&Mary campus, an OG legend which imo is overhyped but still a good option - parking can be a pain, frankly better to walk there from the hotel (it's prob a 20 min walk to Aromas but you walk straight down beautiful CW - on a nice day, can't beat that.).

I gave him my information, and he informed me that there was a 20-minute wait. I suggested that we could sit on the other side of the bar, but he said that they were closing that side because they were closing soon (in two hours). I noticed that they had tall tops, and I wanted one. He said that he could make that happen. While he was huffing and puffing and cleaning some tables, which were all standard height, he finally told me that my table was ready and it was a regular table. I was surprised because I had been told earlier that he could make it happen when it came to the table I requested. The greeter then told me that the side with the high tops was closed, so I had waited 30 minutes for a table.
