Was excited to check this place out. Very underwhelmed. Plus it smelled like sewage. Won't be back.

I Love the vibe, drinks, and books. This place reminds me of a cool old library, with fun drinks and a great place to socialize.

The place looked pretty decent for a pub-style restaurant serving food and beer. Met James, who was…read morethe morning bartender. He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.

We were staying across the street and decided to check this place out - checked out their menu…read moreonline and saw Mac n Cheese and I LOVE a good mac & cheese so went in hoping that they didn't have egg in their macaroni. Good news, THEY DIDN'T! Pub-type atmosphere, lots of beer on tap. I can't remember which I ordered, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the Mac n Cheese without the breadcrumbs and the hubs ordered it and added bacon. It was creamy and yummy. I ended out taking some of my back to the room. It reheated well, so made for an excellent midnight(ish) snack! The place wasn't too busy when we were there, the bartender was also our waiter. He was polite and helpful. The table/chairs were clean and people looked like locals (which is always comforting when you randomly pick a spot). There's indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't see a lot of parking. I hear it's a busy place on Friday and Saturday evenings. We were pleased with our restaurant choice that afternoon. Thank you for reading my review!
