I told my family, "We don't have to eat here," and instead of trying to resolve the situation, the cashier simply replied, "Bye." The manager (I guess) walked up and didn't try to address the situation. He stood and watched. When I finally found the restaurant it was located in a unassuming shopping center next to a convenience store. Upon walking in I was greeted by a friendly staff. My order was handed to me immediately. The lighting was bright and the restaurant was very clean.
