Once we sat down our waitress took our order in no time. I ordered the hamburger with french fries with no seasoning on both of the hamburger and french fries "Highly allergic to the seasoning". My mother ordered the chicken dumplings and loaded baked potato. Once our lunch entree arrived our entrees arrived with no issues such as cooked correctly as we ordered it. We went late on a Sunday morning so it was packed with the after church crowd. There was a short wait to be seated but that gave me plenty of time to peruse the store for items I didn't needed. They always have the best selection of knickknacks and decor items. After being seated our waiter Neal came over and took our order. He was very nice and attentive to the table. The order was taking awhile to come out so he brought out fresh biscuits with butter and jelly while we waited. There was a slight hiccup with our order but our waiter was able to get it resolved immediately, the food was delicious as always. Neal is definitely a great asset to the restaurant. read more

After spending the evening at the Wartown Taproom (five stars, ask for Bryce), I brought the Sprinter van here for the night. This Cracker Barrel tolerates overnight parking in their lot and that's much appreciated. Yes, they would like you to please buy a meal in return for their kindness but it's not required. As I arrived here late and then departed early, I did not have a chance to enjoy their great meals. I particularly enjoy the grilled catfish and that's what I will get next time. I owe you one, CB! We decided to try Cracker Barrel for brunch today because we had a gift card. This would never be a choice for me if it wasn't going to be covered by a gift card. I am not a big Cracker Barrel fan at all. We started it off with a pitcher of mimosas, one glass was $5 or a pitcher for $19.99. The mimosas were very delicious, but it's hard to mess up a mimosa. lol! Also, be warned it is VERY loud in there. I ordered the hash brown casserole skillet with steak and over easy eggs. It comes topped with diced tomatoes and green onions. It was okay and thats about it. This is almost always my impression of Cracker Barrel. It's okay, but I'm not gonna crave it or wanna spend money to eat here again anytime soon. There are way too many other exceptional choices in the area and Cracker Barrel is a high-volume, mediocre quality casual restaurant. Dining experience and food was horrible. After being seated for 10 minutes, we had to ask for our waitress. We waited 25 minutes for our food. The food was lukewarm at best, mashed potatoes were like a hockey puck, country fried steak and broccoli was lukewarm to cold, fish and fries were lukewarm, and Cole slaw was room temperature. We complained and received a coupon for cinnamon rolls. They didn't care and were just trying to get us out of the restaurant. We will not be going to the Warner Robins Cracker Barrel again. So I don't like giving poor reviews and I want to state upfront that the server was friendly and the very soul of courtesy. And, for the good, I'm really pleased that they now serve sweet wines with your meal. Okay, that said... I came here for lunch around two in the afternoon and opted for the homestyle breakfast with a coffee and a sweet red. The coffee came quickly, but, because it was a particularly understaffed moment, it took my meal a while to arrive. Moreover, by virtue of being overworked, the server forgot to bring my silverware or a napkin with the meal and since I couldn't eat the eggs or hashbrowns with my fingers, I first had to wait until she walked by again and then had to wait for her to bring the food. But when she brought silverware, she told me that napkins were nowhere to be found. So I started on lunch without napkins. The scrambled eggs were good and the texture that I'd asked for, but had started getting cold while I waited for silverware. Likewise the biscuits had been out of the oven for a while. Still tasty, but not super-fresh. The bacon, however, was great, as was the hashbrown casserole. I must emphasize that this is largely *not the server's fault.* The fault lies with the staffing that left the restaurant understaffed and with the kitchen being organized such that my server couldn't find any napkins. (She eventually found some moist towlettes for me.) So, decent food, but understaffed. And yes, I know that job openings are at historic highs at this particular moment in our country's history, but the service meant that what should have been an excellent dining experience was only so-so. read more

I was told that hot tea is not bottomless. The waitress and manager stated the hot water was bottomless but not the tea. Thankfully I was not charged for a second packet of tea, but I do really want a third cup of tea but I'm concerned about the price. Can you verify the charges? I felt embarrassed questioning $2.59, but I felt sure that the iced tea and the hot tea was bottomless. Is there a shortage of tea? I pointed out the other bottomless items. And that's factoring in our expectation that service takes longer at Cracker Barrel than other restaurants. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. We went yesterday and where do I start? I ordered water with lemons - how can you mess that up? Well, several of my lemons were bitten into - like you can see the teeth imprints (picture does not do it justice). Did the waitress just grab a used bowl? Gross. Waitress was horrible. She was super slow, never checked on us, forgot to bring us food that comes with the meal she never refilled cups after she said she would. Awful. Food was not good. I left hungry. I am including a picture of what I brought home. I dumped all but two bites in a to go box and brought it home to try and salvage later. I am not sure how a hash brown casserole can be a disaster, but this was not eatable. My sister had a meal that included grits - the grits were like soup. They forgot to bring biscuits and gravy with her meal, but she liked the scrambled eggs and bacon. The bathroom smelt like the sewer was backed up. What a horrible experience for a place that I used to like to eat at. I have no plans to go back for food. This is the second time I have had bad food there and I won't do it a third time. read more

Nothing just seemed quite right. My girlfriend's chicken and dumplings had a gluey consistency similar to when they've sat in the fridge for a bit too long. Our hash brown casserole tasted dry and old--seemed to have either cooked too long or sat under the heat lamp for a while. I was greeted by a nice lady with a beautiful smile, and that was an intro to the rest of my visit. I just love walking into the restaurant. It's so cozy and warm and inviting. My server came by quickly and was so sweet. I knew exactly what I wanted, so she asked if she could take my order. My tea was never empty, the food was hot and very good, and the server was very attentive. I was by myself so I watch people. It's obvious that at this location, the staff loves their job. They took care of so many people and did such a good job at it! I personally think that this is the store from which other stores could learn. This is what great looks like! read more
