I have to eat crow on this one. Ole's came out on a Sunday and found a mistake that my electrician made. They fixed it an everything runs fine. Thanks guys. We are starting with 1 star. My hot tub was delivered. My electrician wired it and the hot tub was dead on arrival. When I called Ole's they were very defensive and tried to blame my electrician. They said that they had never heard of that contractor and questioning their ability to wire up the tub. Hot tubs are super simple to wire - land 4 wires on a distribution block. Before I called I had already confirmed that the wiring was correctly landed on the block and had voltage through the two hots inside the controls compartment so I knew that was not the problem. The really annoying part about this is when I asked Ole's for a electrician recommendation I was told the ones they use were all booked up and to keep looking. So after installation they questioned why I did not use one of their electricians, but when I asked they would not even provide me with a contractor's name. I asked for the recommendation 6 weeks before the hot tub arrived so it was not a last minute request. I originally called on Thursday afternoon and was told I would get a call Friday morning to schedule service. I called at 1pm on Friday since I had not heard from them and was told they had called me at "10:19 am". I had no missed call and they decided not to leave a voicemail. No very helpful. read more

Very happy with the service. Been fighting a leak for three years. Adam was able to find both sources and fix. Everyone I talked with was polite and helpful. After three trips, draining and flipping my spa to fix the last leak, my final bill was much less then I expected. read more

We bought our spa nine years ago. We had one problem with a jet pack.We brought it in and they gave us a loaner to use. The other one repaired within a couple of days and was covered by warranty.This has been the best spa we have owned and we have been spa users for the last 40 years. My husband and I are in the market with the intent on purchasing a hot tub for our new home. We are going to absolutely buy a tub. We walked into Ole's and instead of being greeted by Tony with a hello, he said "are you my 1:00 appointment?", after being told by the receptionist we were there to look at the tubs. We answered no, having walked into the showroom at 12:21, and his response was "you have 30 minutes". Immediately asked what our budget was, and what our timeline is. We responded with open budget and would like something ASAP. He then replied "April". What? He told us April was as soon as we could receive a tub. I asked if every tub was custom and he said yes, then I said "why don't you tell us how you work." The conversation was painful, and he wasn't at all interested in selling us a tub, or finding out what our needs were. He was quite proud of their $23k hot tub, mentioning it multiple times, as though we should be shocked by the cost, assuming it was out of our budget. It was not, but it also wasn't what we were shopping for. Upon entering the establishment, we noticed a large stack of tubs outside wrapped up. I asked if those tubs were available for sale and told rudely that they were for "customers" who already ordered them, as though we weren't customers. Well, guess what???? We aren't customers and never will be. The service was rude, and we were treated so poorly, likely judged by our appearance, having arrived fresh from our chicken farm in Seabeck. Funny, cause the restaurant we had breakfast at prior to shopping Ole's, treated us like a king and queen (actually they didn't, they just provided us service that meets the normal standard, but compared to this experience, it feel quite Royal.) This was one of the most bizarre, unbelievable, low quality sales interactions, I have ever received. P.S. We were offered a brochure to shop from! No thanks Tony! Good luck with your 1:00 appointment. How you remain in business is a question we will never have answered. Oh and for the general public, NOT ONE SINGLE EMPLOYEE WAS WEARING A MASK! Generally good clean store, limited inventory, friendly customer service. Only rated 2 star due to their return policy. Purchased a small pool vacuum for a water fountain clean up. Vacuum was poor quality and it was easier to skim buy hand. *Store does not take returns* Back to buying on Amazon for me. read more

Our outdoor spa developed a leak and would not hold water. Ole's Pool and Spa sent out a young gentleman who diagnosed there was a large crack and the part would need to be replaced. The estimate was $800+ and we authorized the part to be ordered and made another appointment for the repair. Ole himself came to complete the job but upon further inspection, he determined the crack could be e-poxied and sealed properly and the estimate was for $250.00. Our spa is working perfectly now and no leaking. We found this company to be honest, ethical and very efficient. We are extremely satisfied! read more

Went in today with my mother in law she wanted to return a few items since she can no longer use them, the guy at the front was nice but hardly had a clue as to what he was doing. The lady that came out had very poor customer service was extremely ignorant and rude, argued basically with my mother in law and made her feel like she was trying to snake them out of money which wasn't the case at all. A larger man that could be heard from his office because he is extremely loud came out and wasn't much nicer they were truly ignorant treated her very unpoorly and I had to walk out before I really gave them a piece of my mind! I had the opportunity to observe Ole replace or rebuild all of the systems in our 17-year-old Endless Pool (in which the swimmer swims against a current of water driven by hydraulics). He replaced the water-pump-and-motor, and the pool filter, and the natural-gas heater, and the hydraulic motor. And he replaced a good deal of PVC plumbing, some of which was almost inaccessible behind the water heater. Ole is clearly a master of all the techniques required to perform such a job. He disassembled the gas heater, which is surprisingly complex, and replaced several parts, so that I have not only a new heater in operation but an rebuilt one as well, as a backup. While Ole was rebuilding it, our power went out. He completed the job by flashlight. Ole loves the kind of work he's been doing for thirty years. As he told me, every job is different, which makes the work fascinating. He demonstrates a fine attitude toward his customers and listens closely to their requests. On the three occasions he came here, he arrived promptly at the appointment time. He works quickly, so that you get your money's worth. He is easy to work with, as are the other employees in his company I dealt with, Gretchen and Rick. All of them are experts at what they do. I recommend this company without reservation. We recently had an older hot tub go out and we called Ole to take a look at it. We weighed a few options whether or not to replace the tub or repair it. We ended up repairing it. We went to his Port Orchard store to let him know to go forth in ordering the parts we needed for it. We were quite amazed by a gorgeous showroom and friendly staff. They try hard, but be warned. There is a shortage of qualified Pool and Spa maintenance companies in Kitsap county. Some of Ole's personnel are very inexperienced. I have used them for over 7 years and paid them a lot of money, but no longer. Over the years I have endured stoned employees repeatedly leaving the equipment in Service mode, a flooded basement and electrical problems from their draining of our built in spa, and this summer a green spa which they cannot seem to balance. There have been two major mechanical failures which I was left to figure out on my own. Once years ago when the owner went on vacation and could not figure out how to solve a swim jet/leak issue and just quit trying. l drained the spa, eventually found a factory rep to help, ordered parts and then employed a plumber. It was a huge difficult job, particularly since I am very disabled. But I kept on using them. Recently, a heater failed immediately after they drained and refilled the spa. I waited over a month while their polite, but inexperienced tech, tried to diagnose the issue one week at a time. I even had to suggest checking the filters first. While I waited and it became obvious that he was just not qualified to do this work I was able to diagnose the issue through another company. It took them less than two hours, and they did not charge me. ( I got a $450 bill for Ole's efforts). I then checked that company's opinion - with another Seattle company (that also did not even charge me) who took less than two hours on the phone to figure it out with me doing some legwork. Using Ole's for routine maintenance may work, but be very careful about relying on them for anything complex. This is not personal - as should be obvious since I have used them as long as I did. But for thousands and thousands I have paid them over the years their repair service should be much much better. read more
