If I can give 0 star, I would. This doctor spends less than 5 min with you and prescribes very very expensive creams, knowing some people don't have an insurance unfortunately, and when she can prescribe generic version of the same cream. I spent $800+ for just a visit for simple acne. CRAZY. On top of that she also tried to get me to pay for this expensive one-time facial procedure without my consent. I honestly feel scammed and do not understand to this day why she had so many positive reviews. I went to different derm and they were shocked at how much they made me spend at this place. Do not recommend Olga Goulko as dermatology doctor. She was also rude and unprofessional toward us coming with insurance and the ones she could not get cash out of. Maybe she is excellent cosmetologist and performs excellent job doing Botox skins lasers etc, I don't know, but I definitely do recommend to stay away from her specifically as dermatology doctor. My friend gave us her name so we went but after she shoed us away, I did the research and to my wonder I don't see her residency/fellowship in dermatology from US school, she looks more as a family doctor to me. I rarely complain about places- but unfortunately she was just not nice, really condescending. I had a scar needing removal, she looked for two seconds and said she couldn't help me which is totally fine, I'm glad she was honest... BUT-- she then continued to blame me saying I should have described the scar better on the phone when setting up the consultation because they only treat certain types of scars. How am I supposed to know what kind of scars they treat? If they had initially asked me over the phone specifically what kind of scar I needed removed, I would have explained it in detail and they could have told me they don't treat pigmentation scars. Like I said, I don't have an issue with the fact that she couldn't fix my problem, I wouldn't want to toss a ton of money to a doctor who was that rude anyway. read more

I have been going to Dr. Goulko for the past 3 years and I find her very skilled and knowledgeable. She has performed numerous cosmetic procedures and I have never had any scarring or pain after the procedure. In addition she has also has biopsied several suspicious moles. This doctor never gets to know her patients. She must look at the chart to see who and what you are. She forgets what she tells you and then bills outrageous amounts. 2017 was probably the most challenging and stressful year I have ever experienced!!! As a result I broke out with warts on my hands and head! Never had a wart in my life....I was recommended to Dr Olga Goulko by a wonderful friend! I am a 40 something year old male that works in the fashion industry in Manhattan, although behind the scenes, having warts is distracting and just not cool! Dr Goulko kindly explained the procedure and began the treatment. I am going to be honest and say it felt like it was working. She made sure I was comfortable and told me there would be a little discomfort, which lasted a minute or two. My "worry warts" are gone now and have not returned!!! I have minor acne that is not that visible to others. She prescribes basically the same acne treatment for all people regardless of your skin type. I have dry skin and the cream and the treatment she prescribed not only not get rid of my acne but made my skin burn and peel. They make you sign the paper for biopsy while you're getting an acne treatment and later I found out that they billed my insurance thousands of dollars for acne treatment claiming it under surgery for the injections they got be you during an acne facial. Somehow, this doesn't seem right even though it's my insurance paying. The acne facial was very painful and did nothing. The doctor is nice and she answers your questions well but sadly, it does nothing for my skin except for drying it out and peeling it. If you tell her this, she will tell you to use the product less often and put on moisturizing cream on top. It still does nothing for my skin. Billing thousands of dollars to your insurance for acne treatment that delivers no results, no thank you!! I have to say the clinic is very luxurious and beautifully decorated and extremely modern, but that's not why I go there and I won't be returning. Somehow it all feels like a scam. read more

Very rude and unprofessional. After waiting for almost an hour she spent 5 minutes on the consultation, without even looking at me once or at my skin. Perscribed some medication, which included purchasing a cleanser for $50 and a moisturizer for $25. I was told over the phone when making the appointment that the consultation is free, yet when I came out of the office I was told that my insurance will be charged and that I have to pay a co-payment $ 30 on top of that. I asked why then did they tell me on the phone that the consultation was free, after which the doctor came over the reception area and snatched the prescriptions from my hand and told me that if I wanted a free consultation I am free to go, which is what I did. Stay away from this doctor and the office. I paid about $1500 for laser hair removal treatments and I have more hair then I had before. The office just replied that nothing was guaranteed without any suggestions for extra free treatments or reimbursement. When my wife expressed major concerns via email the Doctor called me screaming that she would report my wife as she used her work email and work time for writing the complain (she has no limitation on the usage of my email). I couldn't believe it. The office doesn't provide any info via phone regarding the equipment they use, so you can make a search. They say you have to see the doctor in order to know the name of the device. This is just ridiculous. My wife had an excellent experience in the city with Dr. Irena Gladstein, so all their technology is well advertised on the website because they have nothing to hide. The appointments were not once moved the last minute which was unacceptable. Furthermore, I also had a problematic skin area. Dr. Gulko prescribed a very expensive cream that didn't help at all. There are many other good dermatologists in the area, so stay away from this office. read more
