I had no idea what I needed. I hadn't had a facial in ages. She was able to do my facial based on my skin tone and it was one of the best I've ever had. My face is extremely sensitive. After most facials I leave a spa with pink cheeks from whatever harsh chemicals are used. She was cautious with my skin and did a great job hydrating it. I felt like a million bucks after :D She is so kind and very easy to talk to. She's very smart and quite lovely overall. I genuinely enjoyed just speaking with her about various topics. Came in to Olga's Facials with a groupon for a custom organic facial. She is located in a tiny room (closet?) in the back of the beauty supply store on Montana. Street meter parking was easy. She asked me to print out my Groupon and bring it, I did not do that as Groupon is made so you can just show your phone. She did not hassle me about it when I came in. We sat down in her room and went over my concerns, skin care regimen and eating habits. I saw her write down that I was a Scorpio (lol). She had some commentary on food quality in the states and other things that were a bit beyond the purpose of my visit. We talked for about 15 minutes. The facial was about 30 minutes. Besides the extractions, it was relaxing and nice. Although she did have music playing in her room, at times I could hear people talking in the store. read more

WOW. I just had a facial at Olga's Facials this morning and felt immediately compelled to write a review. It's been years since I've had a facial, and my face really needed it. Two of my friends referred me to Olga. I don't even live on the west side, and the facial well worth the drive to Santa Monica this morning. I parked my car, got a tea, and walked to Olga's. Her place is two blocks from Ocean Avenue, it was a gorgeous way to start the day. Immediately upon looking at me, Olga knew my skin type (combination) and was ready to fix it. Not only did she do incredible work on my skin, but Olga is also a lovely person, and you can tell she loves what she does. I have extremely sensitive skin and when I left there, I wasn't red at all! In fact, my skin looks like a porcelain doll and I feel like I look 10 years younger! The other thing I loved about Olga was that the end of the facial, she wasn't pushy and didn't try to sell me a million products. I feel not only an outer glow, but an inner glow. I went in for a facial and came out with a friend. Before the facial began, she asked me a series of questions in order to personalize the facial for my skin. In the process of said questions, we ended up having such a deep and amazing conversation about life and everything that's important to us. Unlike other people in these reviews, I didn't mind being asked so many questions about my life, as I asked her questions back in return. I think that's the whole point of going to a person for service, to exchange dialogue. In that one visit, I learned a great deal about her personal life and it saddens me to see many reviews critiquing her small space. If you only knew how she ended up in that location, maybe you wouldn't be so judgey. We continued our great conversation from beginning to end. This is my second time getting a facial in my life and this experience was absolutely amazing. She's a great human being and a great person to get a facial with! This is my second visit to Olga and I should probably make the disclaimer: I bought a Lifebooker. The first thing Olga asked when I called was if I bought a deal. I said yes and she said in order to make the apt, she needed the voucher number (really?). I gave it to her (even though she can look me up in her system) and scheduled my appt. My first visit to Olga was about 8 months ago in her place on Wilshire (she's now on Montana in a small room in the back of a beauty supply store). I got the Hawaiian Facial, which was scheduled for 60 minutes. She went over 30 minutes, really taking the time to discuss my skin, get to know me, etc... It was relaxing and my skin felt great. This last time, not so much. I arrived for my appt and immediately received the same set of questions (skin care routine, sunscreen, spf, how often did I reapply, did I know that stress affects my life, etc...) and heard the same stories (one lady hated all the questions she asked, she wasn't her therapist, etc...). I let her talk, all the while thinking this could be shared during my facial, if at all, but be patient. Finally she has me get undressed. I believe she gave me the vitamin drip, although I asked her to do what she thought best and said that since my skin was clogged in some places, would like extractions (not a part of the vitamin facial). She cleansed my face, rubbed oils on it, took a scarping tool and dragged it around a few spots on my face (never extracting anything, I looked immediately after), and then basically called it a day. She even left me to 'relax' while I had a masque on, instead of rubbing my arms or shoulders. 40 minutes later, I was out of there. While I will say that my skin looked shiny and hydrated, I was disappointed in the quick, in and out, you only purchased a deal so you aren't getting the full treatment experience. Or at least, that's how it felt. Bottom line: does she give a good facial? Probably, but only if you pay full price. read more

Maybe it's years of experience and her background and philosophy on skincare that sets her apart from the day beauty spa facials or even well known skin care specialist- what ever it is she is e x c e l l e n t. I've had problem skin when I was younger and exhausted skin during a health problem and now as I move into my sixties she knows how to liven up my skin. First and foremost, thank you Olga for a wonderful facial and she did an excellent job touching up my brows. She was knowledgeable and kind. I felt so rejuvenated after I left which stayed with me for a few weeks. But alas I must return to continue my beautification. I will absolutely return to see her, essentially becoming a regular. My only small and trivial complaint is the space. I am 5'10" and the room only has maybe a foot or two on me. She was cramped and all the bottles and things were at ear level. I had many facials in my life, some good some not so good.This facial seem light, but it did give good results. My face looks refreshed and that is what I wanted. If I could give negative stars I would. She is rude and unfriendly. I bought her facial from a groupon type thing. And I contacted her 3 days after it had expired. I asked her if she could be flexible in letting my mom and I using it (I obviously would have tipped her well) that week. She said no and said I could pay the difference and come in, which is just paying the full price. The reason I had let it expire, as I explained to her is my father passed away. She told me to be more responsible. Usually I would have been 'more responsible' but I was unable to call her before because I was depressed from my father's death. I wanted to take my mom so that she could do something because it has been hard for her too. It wasn't like I asked her a month later to let me use these certificates, it was 3 days later and I was going to use them that week. I would never recommend her, she was insulting over the phone and mean. read more

Excellent facial. I travelled from NY and stepped off the plane knowing that I needed a facial. Lotion and giant bottles of water weren't making a dent.
