We recently remodel or house the was over 100 yrs old so proper permits were needed into order for them to renew our insurance. Veronica assisted us in communicating with our contractor company of what was needed for the renewal. She continued to be in contact with them and us as well. Even though our contractor company was being stubborn about having the correct permits, when they didn't according to our insurance company and our city, Veronica was patient in dealing with them and was patient with us trying to get this resolved. In the end, with Veronica's help, we ended up getting the right permits ourselves and got our home insurance renewed right on time.

After 25 years of being with Allstate, and careful consideration we called it quits with Allstate…read more Mark Thompson, our long time agent retired a year ago and our insurance files were passed on to Phister Insurance, who also is an Allstate agent. Initially, we met with Greg Phister and all seemed like it would be a smooth transition. The concern came when we had additional questions or needed paperwork etc. The staff at Phister Insurance is less then able to handle daily insurance questions or matters. Getting a "human" to answer the phone is the first battle, then once you talk to a staff member they generally tell you someone will get back with you. They either never return your call or its days later. Poorly trained staff and an agent who is never in the office. With that said, Allstate has lost a long time, dedicated, local family. Yesterday, was no exception. My husband called Phister's office, it was the same dog and pony show, no answer to a simple question. My husband then contacted 1-800 Allstate, only to find our call was being handled from India. Really??? Good-bye Allstate, you can count on us NOT to refer any of our friends or family. Customer service is important especially when it comes to insurance needs.
