I was early (as usual) and helped myself to their Nespresso machine with all kinds of coffee options as well as variety of creamers while I waited. It's a super-clean salon, including the bathrooms. There are only two stations in here so it feels very cozy and intimate. The area outside the salon is nice as well, next to the beautiful and historic Lafayette building. Finding the salon was a little tricky as the address is for a huge salon with multiple businesses that work out of it. It is not in the main entrance but if you ask anyone at the desk they will tell you to walk back outside and look on the side of the building. I was early knowing my poor sense of direction was guaranteed to add some minutes to my ETA. I finally found the door with Te Te Hair on it and waited outside on a bench. Sharon was kind and personable as soon as she opened the door. I got a consultation immediately and she recommended I go up to the deep cleaning one instead of the one I booked since she could tell from the microscope that there was a lot of build up. I confirmed that I indeed was an oily person. I was taken into a different room for the actual scalp treatment and it was very relaxing. Sharon exfoliated my scalp and explained every step as I was curious. By the time she was done, I felt that my head was radiating from how clean it was. I was thoroughly relaxed and felt amazing. I was taken back to the original room where my hair was blown out. The microscope was reapplied to my scalp and this time, I wasn't as embarrassed to have my scalp on display. The small gains I may have thought I had, they seem to have reversed and some of the thinning areas seem more sparse today (Jan 2024) than when I started this journey in early 2022 (or maybe the treatments just paused my loss, and stopping those treatments just unpaused it, I don't know). Right on the dot, my specialist Tracy greeted me with such a calm and happy demeanor. She led me up the stairs to the treatment area above the salon and was completely mind blown as to how much of a transformation from the downstairs to the upstairs was.
