I got to come here on a visitors pass while some family members were staying and honestly.. it was great. If I was in a different place in life, I would become a member with my boys. The fishing is peaceful and awesome (not much of a challenge for those who prefer natural water but for kids it was a blast), the whole area is so clean and well taken care of, and the best part? The other campers. The people that we met were so friendly and incredibly kind, it's sad how much that means in this day and age. We were with a group of young boys who have never filleted a fish in their own but they were welcome to watch the more experienced people with no judgement and when it came time to step up and try it themselves, an older gentleman got out of his car to show them the ropes. I wish I knew who this man was so I could send him a thank you card. We had a great time and would love to visit again.

Backing right up getting ready for a beautiful holiday weekend overlooking the lake

What a timeshare! From generations to generations, my family has been coming to Mountain Lakes and it's never a disappointment. Started off with my Mom owning a membership soon after my family grew. My kids had kids, and it was time to get a RV of my own for the grandkids. Over two decades of fun, laughter, and family memories. They are always adding and changing things up from wrestling, bingo for kids and adults, golf cart, parades, spectacular Halloween events, and more! Thank you, Mountain Lakes!

I love Mountain Lakes! I have been visiting mountain lakes since I was a kid and being a member now and to be able to take my family up is wonderful. I have so many memories with my grandparents and now I get to share those with my family. The park has definitely been upgraded over the years and is well taken care of. Very family oriented with the 3 different pools splash pad for the lil ones is pretty awesome as well as there miniature golf course and the amount of activities that are done through out the day the keep the kids off the phones and exploring nature. Not to mention the beautiful lakes. Nothing like a trip up to Mountain Lakes!

Fees are always going up. Not worth the price. They charge you for every little thing including cable even if you do not use it

I wouldn't have a problem with going to another bathroom but I am recovering from 3 back surgeries. I'm not asking for much, but it shows that this park in general only prefers making money. And they really don't give a shit about anything or anyone but themselves. 3. They know how many parking they have, and people are parking on grass because of lack of parking spaces and they have the nerve, the audacity to ask people to ind parking spaces when there aren't any left and of course, that's when all of a sudden " we don't do refunds" This place sucks........... We had driven from Arizona for some cooler weather and had the hardest time simply finding a good spot for the kids to play and swim without needing to pay a fortune (We dont have to pay to swim in lakes in Arizona which I didn't know was a novelty??) We rented a cabin by Arrowhead lake and found out AFTER we got there that it is a private lake. We were told by locals that a great family lake was Lake Gregory which was about 20 minutes away. We drove to lake Gregory only to be told by park rangers that we cant swim in the lake unless we go to the designated family beach area and pay $10 per person (adults and children included) to use a small crowded beach area. That particular day I gave in and paid so my children could have some fun outside and in the water. I was determined to continue looking... FINALLY, I searched for rivers, streams and hiking nearby to get some peace and adventure and came across this little gem. Maybe we got lucky since it was in the middle of the week, but there were very few people on the trail, not to mention only one other family with kids at the swimming hole that my kids played with. The water was clean and cool, it was not crowded, there was ample shade and sandy beach areas...it was PERFECT. I would highly recommend this area for family use.

I've worked at the local Snackbar next to the ProShop for several years, and along side the Silver Lakes Restaurant. Both are amazing, and worth the visit!
