I was offered two options: a crown, due to my history of teeth grinding, or a simple filling replacement. I chose the latter. Two weeks post-procedure, I returned for a routine cleaning. During the final rinse, I experienced sharp pain on the treated side. The hygienist consulted with either Dr. Anh or Dr. Vi, who examined the area, performed an air sensitivity test, and reported no abnormalities. I was advised to begin using Sensodyne toothpaste. Later that evening, the pain intensified, localized precisely to the tooth that had been treated. This discomfort recurred daily after meals and persisted for over a week. At my husband's urging, I contacted the office again and was seen the same day. Moreover, Dr. Lee's demeanor appeared dismissive, and his statements lacked clarity and conviction. We have been patients at this location for over a year but recently took our daughter who is five . Our other dentist wasn't very welcoming and I felt off leaving with our quote . This dentist made us feel comfortable and you know as a parent how important that is. They made my daughter feel comfortable explaining everything to her and making her laugh. This is one of the BEST dental practices I've ever been to. The ENTIRE staff has such a welcoming and warm personality. Everyone is so helpful and seems to really care about my dental visit. From the time I walk in the door and get greeted by the front desk receptionist to the x-ray tech, to the hygienist to the Dentist to the office manager.... They are ALL SO WONDERFUL! They helped ease some anxiety surrounding dental procedures and provided clear and concise treatment plans. I'd say one of the main things that I like is that I'm never waiting too long before my appointment (which is rare these days). I had such a fear of dental work, until this afternoon. Not only did they work with me to help ease my anxiety, as they recommend that you not take ANY medications before a procedure where they use nitrous, but his bedside manner was impeccable regarding my medically diagnosed extremely low tolerance for pain. He talked me through the entire procedure & was completely honest with what I was expected to feel. That, alone, alleviated some of my anxiety. There's not enough kind words to say about Dr. Ly and his team. I had a dental emergency on the weekend and I called first thing in the morning and left a voicemail. Robert at the appointment desk (btw he's a total sweetheart to everyone) called me back promply and set me up with a same day emergency visit. This was was outstanding service considering I left a voicemail on the emergency line at my other dentist the night before and he didn't respond. Cheers to Dr.Ly for thinking quickly and setting me up with a prescription to treat the pain and a shot to numb the pain temporarily. He offered to to do a root canal treatment the following day but I went to an endodontist instead. I needed an emergency molar extraction on a very broken and infected tooth. These guys got me an appointment within a couple of hours even though they were running behind. The only issue I had is that they don't have payment plans. BUT at $275 it was much cheaper than anywhere else I could find same-day. The doctor was sympathetic and very gentle considering how much force he had to use to pull Satan's spawn of out of my jaw. Highly recommend. read more

I started taking my kids here. They got cleanings and my 5 yr old son needed to comeback for a filling. They have the friendliest staff and dentist. They explain everything tiny step to me and to my son. The dental assistant is super kind to my kids. Afterwards she explained after care in detail! She told my daughter she could go in the treasure box too even if she was just there for her brother. Definitely glad we made them our go to Dentist! Waiting area is a little hot but we literally never wait longer than 5 min to be seen. Even when we get there early,.. we quickly get taken to the rooms. It's nice and cool back there. After my cleaning the doctor thoroughly explained what each pictured showed and what the future treatment plan would be! So it's been way too long since I've been to the dentist. Finally went in because pain from my wisdom tooth which had developed a hole. First visit they did the normal exam and came up with what treatments needed to be done. Second visit which was today was to remove my bottom wisdom teeth ( the top were done years ago) Dr. Ly came in and introduced himself. I didn't meet him my first visit, he's a very nice man. He explained what all he was going to be doing. Then he got started with the local anesthetic which I didn't feel any pain. Not even the needle going in. After a short time of letting the anesthetic do its job we were ready. When he came back in he checked to make sure I was numb enough to get started and added more anesthetic where needed. The extraction took a few minutes and no pain what so ever! So to sum it up, I found a great dentist who I'll definitely be coming back to and if you are scared of the dentist don't be, everyone at Friend-Ly Dentist is amazing read more
