In 2023, he told me to clean my garage sensors rather than incurring a $200~ maintenance visit which others charged. In 2026, he offered me several solutions before we decided it was best to replace the entire garage opener motor. - honest, family-oriented, hardworking, professional, thorough - he has weekend and evening availability (he's expecting his first kid soon, so this may change in the coming months) Ronnie has helped me twice in the last four years, and I would recommend him first to any family or friend with garage needs. 1. He helped in 2023 when I had issues with my garage door closing from a remote. Unlike many other groups, he recommended over Yelp messaging to clean my garage sensors, which fixed the issue. 2. A week ago, I messaged him about garage remotes not working again. We went through a set of troubleshooting steps. He came out for a free inspection (may charge if you live far away from the Fremont area). We determined that the opener/motor's receiver was no longer working. This is definitely not a 5 stars business. My garage door is sagging. I called Olive Garage Doors. No one answered. So I left a message. A few minutes later Ronnie called back. After describing to him my issue, I asked if he could come to take a look the next day at 11 am. He said the time should be ok. But he needed to check with someone first and would call me back in 5 minutes. But he never called back. I kept waiting and waiting. After an hour, I called his office which still no one answered. I left a message to ask Ronnie to call back. I also called his cell phone that he called me from and left him a message. But he never called me back. I don't think I offended him in any way when I described the issue with garage door sagging. Not sure why he never called me back and just left me hanging.
