If I could give this restaurant less than a star I would. From the moment we arrived there were issues. We asked for an Italian margarita with salt on the rims and it came back with sugar. We asked to change it for a traditional margarita and the server insisted that there wasn't any traditional margarita. It wasn't until I showed her the drink on the portable menu/ payment machine that she finally placed the order for us. The margaritas were watered down. She then kept rushing us to order our food. We finally ordered and every item was terrible. The spaghetti and meatballs did not have any sauce, the chicken Alfredo was tasteless, and rigatoni was hard. We had to ask her multiple times for Coke Zero and water. The check finally came and we had two gifts cards we were using and the rest on our debit card. The machine on the table was not reading the gift card and when I told her about it she said she couldn't do it at the counter to continue trying at the table. After 30 minutes I asked for a manager and she finally took the gift cards to the counter. Terrible experience, ambiance and food. I can say with confidence I will never return to this restaurant nor any of its other locations. read more

Came to try the never ending pasta as it's probably been close to a decade having been to Olive Garden. This location is quite spacious and could definitely fit a lot of big parties. We got seated right away and there was a steady flow of customers coming in for a Thursday night. Our server was prompt, attentive, and friendly however sometimes it seemed language was a barrier. Food came out piping hot but our server was definitely busy so the first round of pasta took a bit to come out. The food itself was ok, a bit salty and some dishes quite rich. It'll probably be another decade before we return, but this location was a pleasant surprise! read more

I had dinner tonight at this olive garden and hight recommend you eat at a different location than this. For starters 3/4 the bulbs in the parking lot were out. The lot was dark. The walkway in front of the store leading to the parking lot is filthy. The air conditioner was broken in the middle of the summer in south Florida. Part working and part not working. I had to relocate to the rest of the store. The Italian margarita was watered down. It had no color, no orange slice and extra ice. The spaghetti with meat sauce portion was small. The server added cheese as if it was going to be charged to his paycheck. The pasta had very little flavor. The gnoshi soup was good. The bathroom had urine at the urinal all over the floor. So sad to see how companies mistreat their Hialeah locations like Red lobster did and had to close. It seems like Olive garden is doing the same. Longhorn next door had their parking lot bright and shinning. The payment kiosk doesn't offer a printer receipt either. The server was the best part of the experience. Nice guy. read more

Listen, we've all been here at some point or another for the unlimited salad and breadsticks or soup, that's about it. We know is not authentic Italian cuisine but who cares when the salad keeps coming and the hot basket of bread right behind with a side of Alfredo sauce and some gnocchi or minestrone soup if you're feeling adventurous, it will do the job every time. I love Olive Garden, and I order almost every weekend. it seems no matter what I do to ensure my order doesn't get messed up , they always still mess it up. I put notes for my order and even called and spoke to the "2Go specialist" and they still cant get it right. It's very frustrating because I'm very picky when it comes to food as far as certain ingredients being there so when I ask for either extra or a certain ingredient to complete a dish, I anticipate to have that especially if you pay extra as a chef and having worked in the industry for 25 years, I understand how it goes in restaurants and I do understand that mistakes happen, but this is happened for the past three weeks in a row. They always say those will issue a refund and that's great, but I would prefer to have my food properly so I can eat it the right way.. Unfortunately I do not have a vehicle right now so I can't just go pick up the missing items. I paid extra and I paid to tip.. this is very frustrating. I wish they would get it together. read more

We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday. Our server was Ismael. He only brought us salad One time, didn't ask again whether we wanted more or not. During the order taking he forgot to get my partner's order, after having realized he had missed one order then he came back to get his order. The food was not bad. I've gone back to the Hialeah Olive Garden a couple of times since my last review and have to say that service has improved! This most recent time I stopped for lunch with Mima (my mom) and our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. When I usually went on my own after work, I sat by the bar. However, these last two visits we went to the actual dining room. Despite any attempts at fitness, I still have to have their breadsticks. I also order an extra boat of their marinara sauce, which is much richer than the one from a high end bistro, so points for that O.G. Their pasta fagioli soup is still tasty, and they do refills. This last time I ordered their Tour of Italy, and I was allowed to sub out fettuccini with marinara sauce for the Alfredo dish. Both this and the chicken parm were my favorites and were a sizable enough portion that I stuck to my One Meal A Day. The lasagna wasn't too bad, but I tasted a lot more cheese than marinara. I had to add some from the extra. Their apple tart (without ice cream, gotta stay good!) was a good dessert without being overly sweet. Glad to be back! read more

WOW! This was my 1st time eating at this Olive Garden location in Hialeah. I ate here for free on Veterans Day. The food and service was phenomenal! I had spaghetti with meatballs plus minestrone soup and breadsticks. OMG! It was yummy yummy to the tummy. The staff was super friendly and very professional. For a chain restaurant - my husband and I like Olive garden. When we come we typically order the same - as it is satisfying. We have the steak tips with the gorganzola alfredo sauced fettucine - which is a fabulous dish. Most times it is good, however tonight it was a little dry. The sauce is always tasty though. My husband craves it. We always have the unlimited salad bowl - which we thoroughly enjoy, and we always come away totally full to the brim and with plenty of left overs for the next day. Tonight I order the chicken parmesan with a marsala sauce and mash potatoe. I don't normally have this, I usually have the same as my husband. It was ok - but I would not have it again. There was not enough marsala sauce so I found it too dry. The mashed potatoe was also a bit too dry and had a bit of a manufactured taste to it, so I was disappointed in that element of the dish. Having said that, Olive Garden is what you expect, and we always have a pleasant time there. The prices for what you get are always reasonable aswell. We had a bottle of merlot, 2 mains, a free desert (as it was my husbands birthday - which was sweet!) The total bill before tipping was 74 dollars. Service was prompt, attentive, efficient and we really liked our smiley male server. Nothing was too much trouble. When he brought our wine glasses out, there were filthy, very gritty inside and out (obviously not washed properly), we were embarrassed to point out, but it was not a problem for him, he whisked them away and came back super quick with fresh clean glasses, a smile and apologises, (we did not feel intimidated to complain.) I hadn't been to an Olive Garden in yearssss, but I decided to give it a shot on my lunch break. A lot of the menu has changed a lot of new items, which was refreshing to see. But as soon as you walk in this particular location it smells like urine, I have no idea why. Our server was nice and food got to us fairly quickly but I was not satisfied with the food. The breadsticks with Alfredo sauce is what I had to stuff myself with because everything else wasn't really good. Okay... so I drove close to 25 minutes to pick up this order & it was SO BLAND!! I had a craving for the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo so I ordered that on the website to pick up curb side. I'm giving this place 2 stars for the SOLE reason that the ordering part was pretty easy & straightforward. Also, the pick up time was accurate & the guy that brought out my food was nice (after all, it's not his fault that my food was cooked w/ absolutely zero salt). The breadsticks were good & so was the prepackaged house salad, but the main dish was such a disappointment. I had to pick out the shrimp and eat them alone bc the Fetuccine Alfredo was a complete tasteless waste. For almost $25 & 25 minutes of driving, I am not the least bit of a happy camper & will most definitely not be returning here again. read more

Everytime we come for a visit this is the closest Olive Garden so naturally it is where I will go for dinner (especially since there is no Olive Garden back home). In my frenzy for soup, salad, and breadsticks I should have just driven a little further to their Flagler location which is much better (although busy most of the time). Over the years this location has just gone downhill. The restaurant entrance is crowded and dirty. Infact the whole restaurant was dirty. The bathrooms were unkept and our stall had no toilet paper. My curiosity led me to take a peek at their kitchen on my way back to our table and I was appalled at how dirty and messy it was in there. I am a firm believer that the restrooms and kitchen are a good indicator of overall cleanliness. I have to question their practices and food handling safety. We arrived at our booth and it was filthy between the cushions and the floor. This felt like a 1 star experience but 2 stars because our waitress was eager to please and had a good disposition despite me having to remind her of things and a few miscommunications (it is loud in here so I can see it easily happening). On a side note, just because this place is situated in Hialeah it does not mean that everyone speaks Spanish so it was sometimes annoying that they would automatically assume we spoke Spanish. This Olive Garden really needs to work on their upkeep and sanitation otherwise I can easily see food poisoning and cross contamination happening. read more

Okay so I hasn't been to Olive Garden in years and truthfully they did not disappoint. For all the food you get the prices are awesome and the food is pretty good. For appetizers each meal comes with a gigantic salad that with one order you could honestly feed a family of 6. I had the chicken and gnocchi soup which was delicious and unlimited... that was the best part. For the entree I had the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. To whom it may concern. First of all I was not hired by Olive garden to do any kind of secret shopping. This is something I'm doing on my own for my blog. I pick a restaurant and I go ahead and secret shop and see how your servers  take care of the customers needs. This week I picked Olive Garden. Hialeah Florida 1350 w 49 st #1884 Hialeah Florida. What I do when I my mystery shop a restaurant 1 keep an eye out for all employees 2 order something I'm familiar with 3 take a trip to the bathroom 4 keep an ear out for what other waiters or servers are saying to each other. I look for other things too but those are what I mainly look for when I secret shop a restaurant. Date March 27th 2022 time 7:45 pm. As I open the door I was greeted with welcome to Olive garden Great smile by a blonde host wasn't able to read her name tag. I really felt welcome by The Host like if she had known me all her life. Kudos to you Olive garden. I was confused at the amount of people at the front where the host is. How many host does Olive garden have? why were they so many people at the front of the house or as we say in the biz (FOH) The conversations they were having had nothing to do with work it was more like a social gathering gossip kind of thing. I then saw a young lady approached them. stop hanging out in the front and to do the job that they were assigned to do I later found out that she was a manager on duty that day that information was provided by my host as I made a joke to the host and said I guess we know who the manager is and the host "replied oh yeah that is Aranza she is our manager kudos to you Olive garden looks like you have a manager that care about Olive Garden. I was then seated Time sat down 7:46 p.m. Time was greeted by server 7:48 pm kudos to my Server Osmar.  1 great smile. 2 great attitude 3 very confident Second time at the restaurant that someone made me feel like if I was part of the family or even a friend.  As my server greeted me he laid down a coaster and he said hello my name is osmar and I'll be your server for today. My server then ask me, if this was my first time At Olive Garden kudos to you Olive garden and kudos to my server. (Few servers ask their customers that question.) I replied why. My server so I can walk you through the menu and  give you some of my recommendations. Wow kudos x 2. I replied yes I've been here a couple of times. My server replied great so you more or less have an idea what you're having tonight. I have a good selection of wines and depending on what you order I can give you some suggestions. Kudos Olive Garden . I know he was trying to upsell. Never made me feel uncomfortable nor did he try to push the bottle down my throat. I told him I would think about it. My server then said great I'll give you a couple of minutes and I'll be back as he was leaving my table the booth in front of me stopped him and asked very rude where the hell is my server. My server then replied sorry before I go look for your server is there anything I can help you with so I can relay to your server. The customers at the booth asked for a beer and two sodas and as my server walked away from the booth I can't believe it but he pre bussed a table that was not his. Kudos Olive Garden teamwork . When my server got back he had water for me and two sodas for the booth and said your waiter will be right with you he's bringing you the beer.  My server took my order to make a long story short everything was flawless and great customer service as he left I I picked up my water to put it on top of my coaster and I noticed that the coaster had some writings the coaster said hello like in 10 different languages it read hello my name is Osmar. When I was a teenager, every year I would go to Olive Garden with my parents to celebrate my birthday. It became a tradition, a family staple. Unfortunately, teenage me and adult me don't agree about this place anymore. As a teenager, any and all Olive Gardens were the apple of my eye. Now, as an adult, I may enjoy the food, but it is usually a hit or miss for me. The quality, the service, has just gone down and this Olive Garden is a prime example. I wish I could say this is based on one visit, but the truth is that it is related to multiple visits. My most recent visit was this past Saturday. On Saturday, I went for lunch to Olive Garden as I was craving their endless soup and salad deal. I went, was sat right away, and then I was ignored for ten minutes to even be brought a menu. Fortunately for me, I already knew what I wanted, so I ordered right away. I wanted a chicken and gnocchi soup, as well as salad, breadsticks, and some water. They took five minutes to bring me my water and it only got worse from there. The salad, breadsticks, and gnocchi soup arrived. Salad was fine, maybe a tad overdressed, but still edible. The breadsticks were somewhat stale; you could tell they weren't fresh. It looked as if they were sitting around for awhile. The chicken and gnocchi soup while delicious lacked its main ingredient: gnocchi. What a disappointment. Oh, and before I forget, the waiter didn't even offer me cheese for my salad and soup, while the couple right next to me didn't even ask and they got it. I had to ask him, and while apologetic, that ticked me off. I felt ignored for being just one person rather than two or more. This isn't the first time, too, as I went a few months back with a friend and got stellar service, while a month ago, I went alone and I was pretty much ignored again. They care about numbers of people, not taking into account that just because there are more people, it doesn't mean they will tip well. I ended up getting a second batch of chicken and gnocchi. I didn't bother asking for cheese and the waiter didn't offer again, but by this time, I didn't care and I just wanted to eat, pay, and leave. The second batch was horrible. I simply couldn't finish it with its burnt taste. Who cares that this batch actually had gnocchi. At this point, I opted to get dessert trying to get that burnt taste off my tongue. I ordered a limoncello dolcini and that worked its magic. I asked for the check and left the bare minimum of a tip because service wasn't just awful, it was subpar, and honestly speaking, I don't think I should have tipped at all. I am beyond unsatisfied; I really don't think I will be going to this Olive Garden again anytime soon. I don't know if this will affect me going to other Olive Gardens, but this Olive Garden, well, it will take hell and high water for me to visit again. read more

I was craving pasta today and decided I wanted to eat at Olive Garden. The closest one to me was the one located within the heart of 49th street so that's where I went to along with my bf. We happily walked in and saw that there was no wait at all and seated immediately. However, when we walked into the dining area to be seated, tables were placed very close to the booths! Booths, for me at least, give me some sort of comfort as if they give me some privacy I'm looking for when eating next to a bunch of strangers. So that immediately was one turn off for me. At least give some space because you could even notice the waiters struggling to walk in between the walk ways. People's chairs would almost touch the person chair behind them. Anyways, after being seated, we waited almost 10 minutes just to have someone come and ask us what we wanted to drink. The waiter literally waved me down rather than coming to the table to tell me he will be taking our order in a bit. When he did come to us, his introduction was very vague. After serving us our drinks, he immediately asked what we would like to eat- no recommendations or telling us about their daily special. Didn't even acknowledge my boyfriend sitting across from me, as if I was the only one there sitting. Very rude because his back was mostly turned to him. Our food was brought out pretty quick, I will give them that. We ordered mozzarella planks as an appetizer, but that was very bland served with a side of marinara sauce that didn't compliment the planks. I then ordered the Chicken Giardino and my bf got the very classic Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. My dish was filled with squash, peas, grilled chicken, broccoli and tomatoes with a lemony sauce. I'm here thinking it will taste so good but it was mediocre. Tasted like some sort of cleaning detergent. My boyfriends dish was lacking Alfredo sauce. So normally now in a lot of restaurants, you have this machine to pay at the table so that you don't have to sit and wait for your server to come and take your payment because we all know how dreading that could be! Our machine did not have any food that we had ordered, already punched in from the servers end. We wanted to leave already and just had to wait for our payment to be taken. We don't have a problem waiting and being patient as we always are, but we just wanted to leave badly. It's rare for me to come back to this location and if I do, I think it would be for a to go order, not a sit in one. This Olive Garden location needs to reconsider the layout of seating inside because it feels like literally walking into a tight living room space. read more

I came to Olive Garden since they sent me a complimentary free desert for my birthday. I ordered a Tour of Italy which brings a small lasagna, chicken parmesan, and fettuccine alfredo with side breadsticks. To drink I had a house red wine and my dessert was the chocolate brownie lasagna. Total bill was around $80 with tip. I did notice that the staff looked a bit overwhelmed and the lobby had a massively long line regarding To Go orders. The food was enjoyable and satisfying. Parking was somewhat difficult. Seating can be long without a reservation so I highly recommend to set one prior especially on weekends. read more

I have never been a fan of Olive Garden and when family suggests we dine there, I try my best to override the vote. Food is not bad, it's just not that good and feels like fast food Italian. Service is a hit or miss and sometimes there is a long wait for a table. I do not get it but I guess people like Americanized Italian food.
