Came to this Jackson, MS in July of 2025 with my wife, and kids ages 19 and 15. Food, standard Olive Garden food, it was mostly good. Service, ugh. Odd cadence of when food came out. Salad took forever and breadsticks even longer. Meatballs came out at the end of our meal and the kids, who had buttered noodles, had no butter. Asked for butter, and 10 min later the cold butter came out to put on the cold noodles. Second ask of breadsticks came out when we were done. My wife and I took a break from interstate travel on a Saturday midafternoon and had a mixed experience at this Olive Garden. This is an attractIve location with a rather chic, contemporary feel. We were seated in the bar area and service was efficient, as well as quite personable and welcoming. I had the broiled salmon with steamed broccoli side, while my wife had the chicken margherita with basil sauce, mozzarella and tomato. Both were very good, as were the well known salad and breadsticks. This is the same familiar comfort food that so many are accustomed to. What were the negatives? Well, we had iced tea with our meals and it was simply poor. A little stale perhaps? Also, our flatware had to be sent back as dirty. Believe me, I'm not that guy who closely inspects spoons and forks for specks, but ours looked like they had never seen the washer. Replacements were satisfactory. Finally, the men's room was in poor shape. Sinks, etc. were soiled and the soap dispenser was nonfunctional. Not a good look for a national chain that has appearances to consider. Our family has been eating at this Olive Garden location every single week, but after tonight, we will never step foot inside again.I am 51 years old and obviously well past the legal drinking age. When I ordered a drink, I was carded. I completely understand following policy, so I gladly presented my official, state-certified Mississippi Mobile ID app. Even though this is a legally recognized form of identification in our state, the manager Sham and the other staff flatly refused to accept it.Instead of exercising common sense or showing basic flexibility for a loyal customer, they chose to deny us service entirely. We ended up walking out before even placing our food order.It is incredibly disappointing that an adult in their 50s is turned away over a legal digital ID, especially when we visit so frequently. If your staff is going to be this poorly trained on modern, legal identification technology, you will continue to alienate your regulars. While I would never call Olive Garden anything close to authentic Italian food and I would never say that Olive Garden offers anything even remotely close to great food, I will say that Olive Garden definitely has its place. I met with a client here and overall, it was a decent experience. Our server was friendly and professional and the place had a pleasant enough ambiance. Since it was in a shopping plaza, parking was definitely not an issue. Coming from a girl that would NEVER recommend Olive Garden I was surprisingly impressed. Back home I would only go for soup, salad and breadsticks maybe once every 3/4yrs. Since there's not much to choose from in Jackson I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did, we started off with the fried lasagna and shrimp. I liked them both but probably wouldn't get the lasagna again bc it was like eating an entree. I got the shrimp and chicken carbonara and the hubs got the steak Alfredo. When we arrived to the Olive Garden off of 55 we were amazed at how clean beautiful and classy the inside was. Not only that but the professionalism by the managers and hosts were so hospitable sharing their signature candy and some laughs. The service was pretty good but the food! The food was great. After having the worst experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in Madison, I headed over to Olive Garden -- and I'm so glad I did. From start to finish, this place was the complete opposite of what I had just experienced. At first, I sat at a table for a few minutes without being acknowledged, and I started to walk out. But then a young man named Corey kindly stopped me and asked if I'd give them a second chance. His kindness was unbelievable -- sincere and genuine. I decided to stay, and I'm so glad I did. I was served by Chandler, who was absolutely spectacular -- attentive, warm, and professional. Then I had the pleasure of meeting the manager on duty, John. He's new in the role but already carries himself with the grace and care of someone who truly values the customer experience. The general manager, Jackie, should be incredibly proud of this team. They turned my entire night around and delivered a level of service that went above and beyond. A guess and i visited the Olive Garden August 21, 2025. The restaurant wasn't busy , just a nice serene type setting. After being seated , took every bit of 5min just for waitess to greet us. Butter finally came out after asking 15min ago. Ordered 2 fettuccine Alfredo( to go) BUT wanted it right b4 we left, actually got them before the meals we were eating inside. The waitress told us, it's better to get it now because we might not have later. Try to Figure that 1 out. We split checks, put 10$ on my guess tab, some how the check came out so wrong after I paid. In order to correct the problem management said I'd have to repay but THEY COULD NOT PRESENT ME WITH A RECEIPT stating the 1st transaction was canceled. So another 20mins trying to figure this out. My guess was getting agitated and so was I. So she just gave me $and told me just give me whatever I thought was fair. I ask waitress, management, cashier to break a 20$. Edit: To be clear, this was the Jackson MS location. I tried to take my son here tonight because he loves their bread sticks. There was almost no one there. Six or eight cars were in the parking lot at the most. There were only two tables of around 3 people each surrounding us. After sitting down, we waited 15 minutes for the server to show his face. Well, we thought, that's how it goes sometimes, no big deal. So he took our drink and food order. 15 more minutes passed, and we still had no drinks, no salad, and no bread sticks. Please, I beg you, give me a valid reason why when I sit down in a restaurant, I still don't have a drink after 30 minutes. We just left. I'm not going to pay someone to treat me like crap. I can get that for free anywhere I go. To make a long story short, stay away. It's never been quite this bad before, but it *always* takes a ridiculous amount of time to get served at this place. If you do go here, make sure you avoid any of their "endless" options. You won't be able to get refills on anything unless you're willing to stay for multiple hours. It really is time to stop patronizing this terribly run, pathetic excuse for a restaurant, and make sure it closes down for good so that the space is cleared for someone who actually cares about their customers. read more

This is one of the worse places to call. I called to place a togo order 3 times and was placed on eternal hold. The first time I was hung up on after holding, the second time I held on till I forgot who I called and the third time I was asked do I mind a few minutes hold and I said yes and hung up. Everything was lukewarm. I'm completely confused. The server was just the sweetest, but just wasn't very responsive. The 2nd round of soup, breadsticks, and dip were piping hot. The food tasted good despite the conditions. Dessert to go was on the house. I really want to add a star, but I just can't. I'm sure I'll have a craving for breadsticks and come back when that hits, but probably not until next year. There is a peculiar odor upon entry that doesn't dissipate. The odor permeates throughout the Italian restaurant and soaks into the food, thereby, making it unpalatable.
