When she did the massage she splashed water all over me that it went into my shorts. She made a comment about my age as well, very disrespectful. Came here for the first time and got a pedicure. I got the tropical one it came with a 12 minute massage and when the ladY showed me the Timer to let me know I was getting my whole tIme was nice. Sometimes I feel like they jip you on time so that Was a nice touch. I asked for a water and got a cup with a slice of orange lime and apple. Very refreshing and tropical. Went here to try something new. Never going back. The nail tech (Amy I think) was not happy to be there, kept getting my cuticles and when the drill got to hot I pulled away out of instinct. That did not make her happy. Paid $100 for nails that are lopsided, uneven and thin in some parts. Did not want to go back and have fixed as they left me with a bad attitude. I've been using Olive for about 6 months but will not be returning. Staff including the owner or manager was not friendly. It's was spring break last week so there was a mom that brought her two little girls there to get their nails done. One of the little girls accidentally messed one nail up and the owner refused to fix it. The mom had to ask another nail tech to do it but was only able to get the nail fixed because she insisted on her fixing the one nail. Come on they are kids....give them a break. My nail tech was very grumpy and snapped at me for touching my nails on the towel by mistake. I'm not a complainer and I always leave a generous tip but I didn't leave one last week because of how they treated me and the other little girl. Left angry instead of relaxed. read more

I got my nails done for my baby shower which was safari themed in early June 2020. I paid $100 including the tip for a shellac and regular pedicure. The design wasn't so great I wasn't too happy that it didn't look cheetah print or like the picture I showed her. I accidentally smeared my ring finger and when I asked if she could fix it she literally said "no it's ok" plus the shellac only lasted like 10 days isn't it supposed to last much longer ? I started coming back regardless for regular manis with regular polish as a treat to myself when I was still pregnant but I stopped coming because they only lasted like 2 days. read more

I usually don't like to write bad reviews but they did a very sloppy job on my gel manicure & pedicure. It was clear they were upset I didn't want to do gel pedicure and just the standard pedicure so I think they just stop making an effort. Two of my nails were missing a top coat and gel paint just on my hand and corner of my nails. Very frugal when it comes to using oil or the cuticles softener. They only applied it to two of my nails and try to stretch for the whole hand. They didn't even lotion my hand. Just horrible. My pedicure is below standard, I came home with my feet being more dry than it was before I came in with no lotion and minimum oil. Will not be coming back. read more

I came in 5 days ago, she couldn't do a simple design so I said just to do a couple butterflies. Half of the butterflies came off the next day. She wouldn't shape my nails correctly so I had to file them myself, now my shellac is chipping on nails I didn't even file. She was rude to me because I was frustrated because literally every time I come in, no one can do the design I want. Apparently only one person can do designs (it's literally your job?) I heard back from the manager arguing with me over pricing of a manicure. I paid $334 for 3 mani pedis which is outrageous but again I won't have had a problem with the price if there had been better service and gotten what I paid for. I forgot to add my little niece was sitting in the end chair letting her toes dry when she was asked by the staff to get up and then the staff dumped towels in the chair. I stopped by yesterday as a spur of the moment decision to treat my daughter and myself to some girly bonding. Knowing I have a big double stroller for my twins and a regular stroller for my toddler I 1st got down and asked if she had availability for us as I know some places are by appointment only, she said yes. I then asked her if it was okay if my other kids came in and that two babies were in car seats in a double stroller and a toddler who was asleep in a single stroller and that my oldest would sit with them and watch them while we got our nails done. She said yes as long as she didn't have kids walking and running around and I said no the two babies are sleeping and the toddler won't be let out of his stroller and she said okay. I went to unload the kids and as my oldest opened the door so I could put the stroller in she blocked the door and said we couldn't go in because she didn't want all of us in her store and got in front of my son as he asked if we had to wait outside and said she wasn't serving us and didn't want us in her store and closed the door on our faces. I would have totally understood if she had said no from the start when I asked if I could take them in but she was rude and her tone of voice and body language was totally uncalled for. My daughter was sad and upset and my son didn't understand why she closed the door on his face. I haven't done my nails in years and this was gonna be my daughters 1st time getting her nails painted at a salon as she's 6 and was extremely excited. Worst experience ever! read more

I did a walk-in for a pedi. I asked how long the wait would be and was told just a few minutes. I waited 10 min to get a chair no big deal. Once seated in spa chair I waited 30min before I was tired of waiting in now cold water. I sat and watched someone across from me get an entire pedicure! The search continues for a better nail salon... Very sad to say, as I was hoping that Olive Nails and Spa would be the one to keep my business. The location is very close to home and offers a wide variety of services. None of the services I might add were offered or discussed before I was rushed from the front door to a chair in the rear of the store where two ladies attempted to tag-team my manicure and pedicure. I refused to let them do this, and they began their low, grumbling shit-talking in Vietnamese. It was 9:30 in the morning, I had previously made an appointment, and there were only two other women in the salon. What was the hurry? Rushing a patron's service in this way is tacky as hell and ruins any ambiance, especially when you are attempting to advertise yourself as a premier salon. My manicurist used her yellow fingernails and un-sanitized tools to scratch and scrape my natural nails; this is how nail fungus spreads, so thanks for that. The paint on my hands was well done, but my toes smeared nearly an hour after their painting. The lady who performed my mother's manicure cut my mom's cuticle open and did not attempt to stop the bleeding. My mom had to stop her and ask for something to control the blood. This manicurist spoke zero English and needed a translator to talk to my mother. The facilities are slightly better than most of the filthy options we have around Porter and New Caney; however, when you look closely, you will see that the stations are as dirty as any other low-end salon around town. This salon is wrapped in a slightly better package but contains the same sort of non-communicative and un-friendly atmosphere as most of the other low-end salons in the area, who offer the same services, generally at about the same price. I paid $65.00 total for a basic mani\pedi. That was $55.00 for the service and a $10.00 tip. read more

Their work is decent and fast. There have been a few times where my ingrowns have hurt really bad days after, but that's really the extent of my issue with their service. As far as manners and work ethic, however, I left completely appalled and disgusted with their behavior towards a mother who was sitting a a few chairs down. Her toddler was crying (as toddlers do) and they kept rudely shushing him, yelling at him for distraction (?), clearly making fun of him in their language. As a mother I was just so angry for this poor mama that just wanted to get her nails and feet done. I too have a son the same age and if they had done any of those things to him, they would've caught HELL from me. They're truly lucky this woman was so calm and unbothered. I understand cultural differences, but their behavior towards a 1 year old was not acceptable by ANY means in my opinion. My first and last time here. My husband and I came here. I wanted a pedicure and refill. The customer service wasn't good at all, hardly acknowledged us. No one mentioned I would have to wait for my nails as they started my pedicure. Like 40 mins into the pedicure, I ask about when they would start my nails, to be told in a few minutes. 1 hour and 20 mins later, she comes to start my nails only to tell me she couldn't do the design I'd requested. Now, let me clarify, when I first started my pedicure I showed the picture of the nails I wanted to make sure they could do it, and I was told they could. Of course I only got the pedicure, which, for $72, it was just basic. Not a lot of nail colors to choose from. I must say, the ladies that did our pedicures were super sweet, but the quality of the pedicures just weren't there. Very disappointed experience today. Will not return. read more

I went here for the first time this past Sunday - I really wanted to get a pedicure. When I arrived, it was a little busy (it was 1:30 in the afternoon), so I was told I would have to wait 30 minutes. I was ok with that - after I had waited for about 20, I was updated that the pedicurist would be done shortly, so I was brought back to one of the pedicure massage chairs. I waited another 10 minutes, drank some wine, got a massage...it was all good. :) I received my pedicure from Lena - she was very nice and friendly! I chose the Milk & Honey spa pedicure - it was absolutely amazing! And Lena did a fantastic job! Their prices for the various pedicure services ranged from $25 to $67. Some of the other services they offer are facials, waxing, manicures, acrylic and dipped powder nails. Some of their services may be on the expensive side, but if they do a great job, then to me, it's worth it! The Milk & Honey pedicure that I chose is priced at $55 - and it was worth it! read more

Went to get a refill they said 35 so I said okay then when I walk in sat down they told me and didn't have the color of my nails and so then I got charged 43. She kept adding to my price! My tech had an attitude the second she came to take me back for a pedicure, she was very rough and aggressive digging on the side of my toes I know I'm going to have ingrown nails because of it. I got gel polish she didn't massage my feet at all she just slapped some lotion on at the end tried to rub it in for 30 seconds and then wiped the remaining lotion off with a towel and told me I was done. I've never experienced this at a nail salon, really glad I didn't get the 60 dollar deluxe pedicure. She did not want to be there.
