Based on the screenshot of the services she chose her total should've been $122 including tax. So imagine my frustration when I learn that her total is $137 so I call her while she's still at the salon and ask and she was told those prices online are just starting and basically incorrect. The prices never indicated start at which of it weren't the actual price it should've indicated that and then she said those are the prices for French on a pedicure when that's is also not what she chose and what's indicated. I think the lack of transparency in the pricing is wrong and honestly feel like they took advantage of her. For most businesses the price that you list for your services on your website or booking page should be accurate it is your responsibility as a business owner to make sure it is and not mine as a customer. If something requested is an additional cost then I should be made aware BEFORE the services are provided. I will not allow anyone on my household to return and if asked if I recommend the answer is a resounding NO. I don't mind paying for services but I don't feel like I should overpay because your site doesn't accurately reflect the pricing and making it worse with a poor excuse, being flippant about it and not correcting it. I'm sure me no longer patronizing their business won't make a difference but I hope 1. They adjust the way they do business and 2. This doesn't happen to anyone else. Now I'm more pissed I'm looking at her receipt and she was charged $4 more in her pedicure than the listed price and she asked and they said because her feet are medium sized. I arrived on a Monday around 11:45 a.m., and the salon was very quiet. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman who answered my question about the price of a shellac pedicure ($53), and I was taken back for my service right away. The nail technician was a young man. He didn't really greet me or introduce himself, he simply began the service. He seemed kind, so it wasn't a major issue, but it didn't feel especially welcoming. I chose the basic shellac pedicure, and one thing I found odd was that he never offered to turn on the massage chair. I didn't think to do it myself, but it's something I've come to expect during a pedicure. He asked if I wanted my toenails trimmed, and I said yes. Unfortunately, he cut my right big toenail much shorter than I wanted, and it ended up slightly crooked. The entire pedicure also felt extremely rushed. Even with me changing my polish color after he painted the first nail because I didn't like it, the service was over very quickly. He was gracious about letting me choose another color, which I appreciated. My biggest disappointment was the overall quality of the polish application. It's hard to explain, but his technique was very different from what I'm used to, and I just wasn't happy with the finished result. When I went to pay, the gentleman at the front asked how everything was. I mentioned that I wasn't pleased because my toenail had been cut too short and a little crooked. He looked at it briefly, said something to the technician in another language, and then immediately changed the subject by pointing to my fingernails and saying, "Next time come back, we can do a refill. Time for a refill." That response surprised me because my concern about the pedicure was never really acknowledged or addressed. I simply smiled, paid, and left. I stood there thinking, "Sir, I won't be coming back". Overall, everyone I interacted with was polite and friendly, which is why I'm torn between giving two or three stars. However, the rushed service, the uneven toenail cut, the polish application, and the way my concern was handled left me disappointed. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

I'm beginning to wonder if perfect quality matters to any of The Woodlands nail techs. Having a…read morelengthy conversation before Tina started my set, I explained to her how awful an experience I had at Elite Nails Bar just down the street, a couple days ago. I walked in at 9:30am, told the gentleman I wanted a dip/nexgen set. We discussed how I like my nails narrow and he understood what I wanted. Tina met me to start my nails. I was very clear that I wanted narrow dip/nexgen nails in bright white that were not bumpy/lumpy and I was very picky because if they are wide or have bumps/lumps my OCD will drive me crazy until the nails are removed. She made it clear she understood what I was talking about. She gets the tips glued on and breaks out the acrylic and starts to proceed to apply it to my nail. I stopped her right away and said no, I wanted dip. Acrylics are too thick for me and the dip or nexgen kind are more natural looking to me. Guessing I slightly offended her, she wasn't as pleasant as before I commented. She seemed fine after a little while. Now, my nails are as narrow as I like, but each one of them are so lumpy and I didn't notice (or looked as closely as I should have before she put on the top coat) it until I got outside in the sunlight. I didn't go back in because, at this point, I have spent far too long in nail salons in the past 2 days getting crappy manicures. I took photos this time. I wish I had taken them the other day at Elite Nails Bar so you could have seen the fat slant nails.

The only thing that I dislike is the non choice of nail polish. It is very limited. They always remember who you are even when you have been gone a while. But over all nice and friendly.
