When we arrived we had to wait for a few minutes prior to us being able to enter the store since there were so many people inside. All of the employees that we came in contact with were very friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. There were a lot of nice items including shoes, purses, and clothes for sale. Employees also gave out wine, water, cookies, pretzels, and bags with purchase. There was also a DJ. More giveaways & sales will be available for the grand opening on Thursday.

I've always enjoyed walking the fabric aisles to admire the vibrant colors and unique upholstery designs. They usually have great remnants at good prices, but today, I have to say, I was very disappointed--and this will likely be my last visit. While browsing the precut remnants, I noticed an employee staring at me. I moved to another section of the table, but the same employee "coincidentally" hovered near me again. I ignored it and kept looking, determined to find a piece for a special project I had in mind. As soon as I found something I liked, I turned around to see her standing nearby, pivoted toward me, and she commented, "I see you found something." After a long day at work, I was simply looking for a quick, creative outlet to pick up some fabric for my design project. Instead, I felt scrutinized and uncomfortable. As an avid fabric purchaser who regularly shops in fabric stores from Raleigh to High Point and NYC, this was a disheartening experience. Most stores I frequent are welcoming and allow me to browse freely without unnecessary oversight. Mills Outlet, please do better. Your customers come to you for inspiration, not judgment. I love that we have a Cava on this side of town now and I don't have to head over to Cameron Village, especially when the parking gets crazy for holiday shopping. I also recently went into the Pet People and had a great experience. Between the pilates studio and Row House it is great to have workout options close by. Nektar is opening soon which will be perfectly located next to Club Pilates. I know there is an Ashley Christensen restaurant opening there too which I'm excited for as well as a Starbucks, and Snooze eatery. You can also access the Wegman's parking garage towards the back of the plaza, head behind Club Pilates. Parking is easy, if you can't find one of their "street" parking spots they have a parking lot around the back by Cava.

Two entrances, one from Wake Forest and the other is more or less also Wake Forest. The shopping center has a few big box stores including Trader Joe's, Staples, Ross and Pet Supplies Plus. I have purchased a lot of clothing and footwear for my family from this location. Recently my daughter purchased a pair of Nike basketball sneakers and I scored a cute pair of T strap heels. The cosmetic and haircare aisle is a must for high end brands. You can save a lot of money. They always carry the brands I love here for less. I recently found Giovanni shampoo for my dog ! The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. I frequent this location every other weekend.
