I did notice that they are a little pricey. I pad about $30 for a chicken & beef koubideh and a side of small hummus & drink. Their fountain drink dispenser was broken when I came in, so they only had the canned ones. Food took a while to come out, but that is not an issue if the food is good. Food finally came out and tbh, it looked really good. Both meats were juicy and tender. I would have liked there to be more rice though. Flavor wise, it was a little muted, but it was still good. In all honesty, if I lived close by, I would come back. But there are other spots that is cheaper and taste better in Woodland Hills area. I did appreciate that the cashier also was a food runner and cleaned up after you. I wished I knew this as I would have given her a tip when paying. Their Beef Kabob could've used a little more seasoning but still plenty flavorful and the Koobideh was great. The Bulgar Pilaf definitely needs a big improvement. It was extremely oily and sort of ruined the entire dish. I'm not sure if my order being to-go had to do with it, but it was pretty soaked and unenjoyable. A review of a Middle Eastern restaurant from a middle eastern person : The online ordering system is not very easy to navigate. We ordered for 4 people. The rice that comes with all the entree was terrible, it didn't taste like rice, it tased like plastic minute rice. The meat were cooked well but spiced terribly. The chicken wings we got were supposed to be BBQ but it was just tomato/pepper pure with harissa spice. The salad had no dressing so it was dry leaves with some olives. The fries were clearly fried twice they were very hard. What really baffled us was the sarma (stuffed grape leaves). THEY WERE DISGUSTING AND CAME FROM A CAN !!! it is extremely disheartening and dishonest to be selling canned sarma as a "Middle eastern" restaurant. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL read more
