Solid lunch location. The food quality is definitely better than other Mediterranean / Persian lunch type locations, but just a step under a proper sit down Persian restaurant you would go to for dinner. I got the boneless chicken kabob plate and everything tasted really good. Most notably the chicken kabob and rice were perfectly flavored and on point. Chicken didn't taste too fatty or dry, just the right amount of juicy and flavorful. I had a side of tatziki which also tasted great. I'm not big on hummus with kabob, it tasted fine but in the future I'd probably substitute it with yogurt or tatziki instead. The house salad and dressing was fine as well. The location in the shopping center is a bit sketch but that's fine for a mid day lunch stop. I wouldn't come here at night though. The other lunch location which is a "go to" is panini cafe but I actually think this tasted better than that. They're located in the shopping center with Jack in the Box and Wingstop on De Soto and Vanowen in Canoga Park, CA. There's plenty of parking in the lot, so parking shouldn't be an issue. My wife and I both ordered the chicken kebab combo plate, which came with rice, salad, hummus, chicken kebab, and a few pitas. The meat was incredibly fresh, juicy, and flavored to perfection you really have to try it yourself to know what I mean. I substituted the salad for extra hummus since I can't have tomatoes, and we all know that. The service was amazing. The guy who took my order at the counter was super friendly and answered all of my questions about the food, as well as some questions I had about their catering menu. He truly went above and beyond to provide quality customer service, which is something most people appreciate and a big reason why many customers would come back again. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect from a Mediterranean restaurant, with pictures of the food they serve, including different kinds of meats. They also have a juicer in case you want freshly squeezed orange juice, along with several other options you can see in the photo I attached to this review. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try something new or if you're craving juicy, delicious meat as a combo plate or wrap. Give this place a try you won't regret it. Our favorite Mediterranean spot in the valley. We usually order on Postmates and pickup. The restaurant is super small but always really clean and the guy usually running the counter is super nice. I came in for a delivery pickup and had an unpleasant experience with the staff at the front. There was a woman with red hair who came off as very disrespectful from the start. I thought I heard the name for the order I was picking up and stepped forward, and she responded in a sarcastic tone, saying something along the lines of, "If I call your name, that means it's for you." It wasn't what she said as much as how she said it. The attitude felt unnecessary and unprofessional for a simple situation. The cashier was really kind and helpful with her recommendations, I ended up getting the beef koobideh, it cost 21 dollars but for 21 dollars it's worth every cent. Presentation was superb and the skewers are thick. No part of the food left me wishing something was different, this place just makes me realize how mediocre other places are.
