10/10 for this Restaurant when it comes to consistency with food delivery. Recently discovered this restaurant on Uber Eats and have ordered from them more than a handful of times over the past couple months. I have had a tendency of ordering the same dish with a couple different variations which you can find in the photos and let me just say it doesn't disappoint. I don't think you can beat the price point, the amount of food that you're getting, the flavor, and freshness for a delivered product.

What a gem in middle of Tarzana. We went there as a family to have lunch and watch the Fifa finals. Relatively new restaurant, family owned and operated- so friendly and professional. Beautiful Decor and ambiance. Food was fresh and super yummy- very well priced compared to other persian restaurants nearby. Definitely will go back again. We stayed after all customers had left and spoke to owner about using their facility for private work event. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing Persian food! I think Pom Grill truly has some of the best Persian food in the LA area. The saffron chicken was extremely delicious, juicy, and full of flavor, and their koobideh is honestly the best I've had around here. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked and so fragrant, and the barg was incredibly tender. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. On top of the great food, the service was excellent and very welcoming. Highly recommend Pom Grill to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Persian food!

Chelo Taste of Persia aka Chelo, tastes great!…read more We had dinner here for my friend Mike's birthday and I have to say I'm an instant fan! I've had some small things here in the past via friends and delivery, and let me say they do a lot of takeout and delivery (I think I saw like a dozen orders go out in the course of ten minutes). Extensive catering menu + family style dish offerings. The dine in experience is cozy and thoughtful with two large flat screens on the wall for your viewing pleasure. Incredible sides, beverages and cuisine with delicious flavors as well as aromas. That lentil soup was the talk of the night, super unique, good texture and a hint of spice. I've never had falafel like the falafel I had at Chelo, it wasn't super crisp or overly fried it was it's own wonderful blend with a medium to soft texture that melted in your mouth. Already dreaming about more. Eggplant dip, yes please! But that hummus is an instant yes - very authentic. Portions here are beyond plentiful and I'm grateful. Lots of vegetarian dishes that are also vegan friendly, aside from yogurt based items. Their Shirazi Salad, Veggie Sautee and Torshi should be on your list, much like their refreshing Persian Iced Tea, Saffron Drink and Cucumber Lemonade. Amongst our dinner group of four we had a lot of variety. And the consensus is it's all great! If doing a Chelo Style (plate) 1/2 and 1/2 rice and salad is recommended, though for this salad it includes feta so I personally do all rice. Might try with Shirazi if possible or fetaless if also possible. Good beverage options, the majority of which are available to grab and go in their cold box near the front. Much like small containers of their sides and savory dips. Fresh made pita. Dessert options. Loads of gluten free and halal dishes as well. The people who make Chelo what it is are super kind and personable and take care of this space. Cool loyalty rewards program (earn a wrap). Located on Van Nuys Blvd/Victory Blvd it's a local hidden gem you absolutely want to find. Can't believe it took me so long to sit in and dine in, but absolutely will be strolling in a lot more. Close to the Van Nuys courthouse, Orange/G Line Station for Van Nuys Blvd with street meter parking or residential off side streets a little bit of a walk down. Restrooms for customers and very clean, like the entire place. Open Monday through Friday from 11am until 8pm and until 5pm on Saturdays, with the same 11am opening. Closed only on Sundays and/or special events or holidays. Get your Chelo on!

Everything tasted like it had more butter or oil than necessary, and by the end of the meal I felt weighed down. Persian food is often rich, but this crossed the line into feeling overly greasy, which took away from the quality of the ingredients. The zereshk polo and kebab both would have benefited from a lighter touch. The fresh naan was excellent, and I can understand why this place has a loyal following. It's also a good value considering the portion sizes, especially in Los Angeles. Overall, I can see why many people enjoy International Market Grill, but it wasn't quite for me. If you like very rich, hearty Persian food, you'll probably leave satisfied. I personally prefer a cleaner, less heavy preparation. So while I'm glad I tried it, I'm not sure I'd order from here again.

We ordered the meat combo plate, which came with beef lula kabob as well as chicken kabob and beef kabob pieces. The plate also came with hummus and because I came with my daughter and she demanded fries, I replaced the included basmati rice for freshly made fries. In addition, we decided to order a side of baba ganoush, which was very flavorful and just so worth it. The meats were outstanding. Both, chicken and beef kabob pieces were nicely marinated, perfectly grilled and delicious. The beef lula kabob really stood out to me and it's one of the better ones I've had in LA -- very juicy, well marinated ground beef and they cooked it so the juices are trapped inside the lula and they only get released after you bite into it. What I got was a perfect bite every time and those delicious beef juices made my taste buds say Yaaaaay and nourished my soul. Overall, a very good meal at a good price and it had my wife and daughter satisfied. The spot is located on a medium-size plaza with many parking spots. The inside is clean and has about 8 tables for dining in. The service was good and friendly. A worthy local place for a quick, delicious Mediterranean food. Will come back again!

That's why I was excited to bring my girlfriend and her friend here today. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different. Our waiter, Amir, barely checked on our table. His greeting and every interaction with us felt monotone, rushed, and completely lacking any warmth. There wasn't a single smile or welcoming gesture throughout the meal. At one point, I walked to the restroom and, on my way back, saw the same waiter enthusiastically speaking Farsi and providing attentive, friendly service to several other tables. The contrast between how those tables were treated and how we were treated was impossible to ignore. Based on my experiences here, it certainly felt like customers who are Persian or speak Farsi receive a much warmer level of service than those who don't. The food is still good, but service is a big part of the dining experience. I left disappointed, especially after recommending this place to others. Unless you speak Farsi or are Persian expect mediocre to poor service. This shoutout is for you Amir! Hopefully management reads this review.

(1 Star) Another…read morelocal restaurant that is completely overrated and seriously underdelivered. Three of us dined here, and our bill came to $118. Unfortunately, the food was some of the most bland and uninspired Persian cuisine we've ever had. Nearly everything lacked seasoning, and instead of serving flavorful, balanced dishes, they seem to think selling large pots of plain rice makes up for it. The biggest disappointment was the chicken with walnut and pomegranate molasses. It was genuinely inedible--overwhelmingly sour, completely unbalanced, and devoid of any depth of flavor. When our server finally returned to ask how everything was, we were honest and explained that we couldn't eat it. Her response was simply, "I'm sorry," and that was the end of it. The Shirazi salads were equally disappointing. They were completely unseasoned, forcing us to season our own food at the table just to make them edible. In the hospitality industry, when guests clearly express that a dish is inedible and remains untouched, there should be some effort to make things right. Instead, there was no attempt to replace the dish, remove it from the bill, or offer any meaningful resolution. An apology without action isn't hospitality. What makes this especially disappointing is that Persian cuisine is known around the world for its rich flavors, balance, and centuries of culinary tradition. We weren't expecting a Michelin-star experience--we were simply expecting the basic fundamentals of cooking. Instead, we were served food that lacked passion, care, and respect for the cuisine it represents. The atmosphere is attractive, but if as much effort went into the food as went into the décor, this restaurant would be far more successful. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit.
