Home warranty companies typically want to "bandage" the problem and unfortunately the service providers get the complaints from customers, I've been one of those customers. I had to wait until Monday to get in touch (fine - I read the fine print), but I called them 3 times only for the phone to just ring through, it was 90 degrees and I wanted to see when I could expect them out. A nice young woman eventually called me back about 1 PM and said they could schedule me for Wednesday because they were on vacation? I think it's odd a Home Warranty can schedule you with a tech who is not available but that is probably a problem with AHS. Anyway, I digress... I ended up having some guys over to look and give me a replacement quote just in case... Didn't need it. The compressor was bad and $250 later I had A/C. Where the 1 star is coming in... I called AHS to cancel the service request so I wouldn't have any negative marks on my account. They said they needed the contractor to cancel first so they can refund me my service fee... Lo and behold CC & Son still isn't answering their phones. I got a call from someone on Tuesday night confirming the appt. but I told him it wasn't needed and he could cancel the request. It is now Thursday, one day after my appointment, and my service request is still open, I can't get ahold of anyone at CC (Which is bizarre, AHS has been WAY more responsive and Home Warranties can be iffy). I would really like *someone* to answer the phones so I can get my $125 back. The only positive in dealing with these guys has been I have learned that my home warranty company is actually really responsive and I found another HVAC guy who I will call instead if I need help with my AC (shoutout 3D Heating and Cooling!). TLDR: These guys don't answer their phones, no other way to get in touch. Find someone more responsive.

The system is working great and I trust him completely to take great care of us. He does not "price gouge" you with costs. I learned a long time ago from him the brand name on the outside of the system means nothing. The inside of the systems are basically all the same. He will not try to sell you too large of a system just to make money. He stands behind his work. I strongly feel if you call him he will be on time and the work will be completed very well. They sent another company, I will be reviewing next, out and their standard answer was the coils feel cool. The other company always managed to come when it was a cooler day that I could open my windows. Kyle, the younger tech came out and yes it was a milder day and my coils were cool, he was disturbed by a noise it made. Then Mark came the next day when it was 100 degrees in the shade and the coils were not even lukewarm. It took some arguing back and forth with the warranty company but I got a new system put in this past October. This winter, I enjoyed the lowest electric bills ever. THE THING THAT IMPRESSED ME MOST IS THEY -LISTENED- TO THE CUSTOMER... what a concept! I am not going into summer with fear of high bills... I can't thank Kyle, Mark, Wendy and the rest of their kind staff for doing the right thing. I will have bills like I did when I first moved in next year. I can't thank you guys enough.
