We went for the beer wall and were not disappointed. Poutine is the best in the area.

They were a bit too salty for my taste, but otherwise were cooked well and the spiciness was just right. Service was good and it was dog friendly too with a doodle pooch sitting at a nearby table.

Craft Beer - Chicken Wings - Tots…read more I'm a fan of Global Brew Tap House. In my opinion, they have the best wings in Edwardsville and beyond. I've tried multiple sauces and cannot pick a favorite, because they all make my tastebuds dance. Pairing the wings up with a cold craft beer and a side of tots makes for a great lunch, a treat for Happy Hour and a super dinner. I am a stickler for the quantity of my flats and drums being the same and GBTH always serves me matching numbers. The wings are always good sized, crispy and meaty. Again, they are the best wings I have had on the Eastside of the Mississippi. This August they are doing, Pawgust. When you buy a craft beer from Alaskan Brewing Co. a $1 from ever beer goes to Gateway Pet Guardians. I drank an extra beer on my last visit and I will make sure to go back a couple more times during August. I like it when I can eat, drink and raise monies for a dog charity all at the same time. I always sit at the bar and the service is attentive and friendly. If the bartenders are friendly, I can only assume the table servers are equally as good. If you want wings and a craft beer, Global Brew is where you need to go.

Tasty little Havana sandwich. Tots are good. pretzel in the background was hard and crusty, I wouldn't suggest it.

Getting there and parking: My family, including a pre-teen, met up at Stagger in to visit with a couple of our friends. Parking was a small challenge. There is a large public lot on the same block, but it was full when I got there around 6:20pm on a Wednesday. There is minimal street parking. Luckily, I found a spot after a couple of times around the block. Walking in, you can see right away that it really is a no-frills tavern. There's not even traditional table service, though it's not exactly counter service, either. You sit down, decide what you want from the menu, walk up to the kitchen counter to place your order, and give the ticket the kitchen gives you to your server. However, the menu was much nicer than what I expected, with very fair prices! Appetizers ranged in variety from French fries and wings to fried pickles and spinach artichoke toasted ravioli, with prices ranging from around $4 to $8. Entrees included a variety of sandwiches, salads, and burgers from $4 to $8.50 or so. They even had vegetarian and pescatarian options, including a blackened tuna sandwich and a black beans burger! All three of us, including a picky pescatarian adolescent, found food we enjoyed! Beyond the food, the service staff was friendly and the bar service was adequate. In all, it was a really great place e together up with friends AND bring a kid--at 6:30 on a weeknight, at least! I would very much recommend this place to a group looking for a casual environment with good food at good prices! Atmosphere: Food selection & taste: Service: Price: I'm not sure if would be fair to give 4 starts based on the above, though, because I wasn't to rate it for what it is, not for what something else is. Overall, I give it a 4.5! Vegetarian friendly: yes (lacto-ovo)

Great beer selection, a fun atmosphere, and even live music made for an enjoyable experience. Jason, our bartender/server, was a hoot and added to the great energy of the place. They've recently upgraded to a full kitchen, so they can now whip up some delicious food. There's even a patio area outside where you can enjoy your meal on a nice day. I highly recommend trying their Borracho Tots. They're topped with queso, bacon, fresh jalapeno, and a fried egg. The queso is creamy and delicious, and the bacon adds a nice crunch. The jalapeno is spicy, but not too much, and the fried egg is perfectly cooked. I was so impressed with these tots that I'm still thinking about them! Sneakys also has a great selection of beers on tap, which is always rotating. They also have a wide variety of other drinks, so there's something for everyone. The staff is top-notch and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Jason, Dany, Rainey and Brian are especially friendly and helpful, and if you get to chat with Tyler, one of the owners, you'll definitely get a few laughs and some fun facts! I love Sneakys whenever I get a chance to go. It's a great place to grab a quick bite and enjoy some delicious food and drinks.

I had the Irish Maid (St. Germain + cucumber + lemon = YES) and it was half off--just $6! We also shared a half bottle of bubbly because hydration, obviously. The food? It's basic bar fare, nothing to write home about but totally fine for snacking. The fried pickle chips were golden and crispy, and the loaded fries were covered in melty cheese and bacon--exactly what you want after a cocktail or two. The vibe is dark and cozy, with a classic Irish pub feel. Plenty of seating, TVs everywhere, and a laid-back atmosphere. Service was friendly but chill. Would I go back? 100%. It's not groundbreaking cuisine, but it's a fun, affordable spot for drinks and bites. Great for catching up with friends or kicking off a low-key night out. Tip: Come during happy hour. So if you're out for a long bike ride around seven circles, and want a great lunch spot, this is it! They have classic Irish pub food. Rubens, bangers and mash, shepherds pie, lots of stout beers, etc.. It's a little pricier than I would have hoped but everything we ordered was pretty amazing. Service was great. Our waitress Becca was very attentive and friendly and helpful, which I love. There were four of us in our party, but one of us didn't eat. Of the rest of us, one ordered the fish and chips, one ordered the corned beef and cabbage, and I ordered the Rueben with fries. I totally forgot to take pictures, so that's a bummer, because everything was not only quite tasty but presented well. I tried all three of these plates, and I would order any of them again. I loved my Rueben! I will definitely be back, and next time I'm going to try the shepherds pie. This place is definitely worth a look. Enjoy!
