Went to Synergy Hearing for a comprehensive testing by referral from my PCP after experiencing some…read morehearing loss over the past several months. Dr. Grozalis saw me on time and had a nice demeanor for this first time patient. The most interesting part of his evaluation was seating me in a soundproof room, attaching headphones and handing me a handheld beeper to react whenever I heard sound/voice up and down the decibel chart. I was in there for 15 minutes as he took note of my deficiencies. There was definitely a mild hearing loss, and he recommended I see a medical specialist (ENT) to rule out any treatable medical condition before considering the option of a mechanical solution. Will do. Following up on his suggestion today. Why 4 out of 5? The testing seemed perfunctory and not particularly accurate and not every result was explained to me. Otherwise, I wasn't surprised by the outcome.

Jessica Keen was great in finding a thyroid tumor but the next step was strange. I was scheduled…read morethen to meet with the doctor who I assumed would be able to do the surgery. But was not told until after I was already checked in, by the doctor himself, that he no longer does thyroid surgery. Nor does any one else in the practice. So instead of telling me to go to a doctor who could help me earlier soonest, I have now wasted weeks on what is potentially a cancer diagnosis (won't know until it comes out). I was also then given two names of people that could do the surgery, both of whom were either not taking new patients or could not see me for at least eight weeks. Please do not go to this practice if you are seeking assistance with your thyroid. This practice may be great for other things but it appears that it does not include working with the thyroid.

To a person they are friendly and very professional and do so with great care and sensitivity. I see this as a reflection of Jessica's superb management skills. I bought top of the line Oticon hearing aids a number of years ago. I paid $6,000. Should have taken care of them. My hearing aids are out of warranty. I sincerely let my aids lapse. . Now Im experiencing more hearing loss. Marianne Mculogh the owner told me I could send them back to Oticon to refurbish them. She told me it would cost about $90 to send them back. Oticon would Probably have to charge me more to fix them. Cris said I had to layout $495 to send them back. She outright lied to me. Audiology and Hearing aids has good reviews . Maybe now that they are a chain called Living Well ( corporate America destroys people once again. )they start to take advantage of people, especially senior citizens like me. I called Oticon to express my dissatisfaction and the lady at Oticon offered to give me other hearing aid places to go and will file a complaint against Audiology and Haring aids, I spoke to a Monica at Oticon customer service. I also explained my batteries used to go one at a time...I would replace one battery on Saturday, for example and then on Tuesday for example I would haven't replace the other ones . Monica said it's possible that some batteries might be older .It never fails, hearing aid stores try to cheat people and this is one example.

Alice is a gem, she's was the one that did the hearing test and worked with me and no question is unimportant or silly......Alice answered every question etc. Larry who schedules appointments, makes me a fresh coffee, has a personality that makes me want to stay in there office. About a year ago he had a wonderful staff. Angela at the front desk was wonderful she was friendly and always had a smile. He also had very experienced women in the back drawing blood. I thought he finally found a great group. Then I went in one day and both my favorite girls were gone. Angela was no longer at the front and the cute little blonde was no longer taking my blood. I was very upset. I talk to some of these women still and I have to say I'm very disappointed that Dr. Sabitini would let Jen, the office manager turn his practice into her practice. Every time you go in to the office Jen is always yelling. And to be honest Lisa has smelled like alcohol more than once while drawing my blood. You had a great office at one time, but it just is getting worse. I have spoken to other patients and I know I am not the only one who feels this way. But Dr. Sabitini you are a wonderful doctor it's the staff around you that is not so wonderful.

Instead of eminating the typical "god complex" many physicians possess, he exudes a sincere and caring "bedside manner," which, in my opinion, is a quality long absent from his profession. Most importantly, Dr. Sabatini listens to what the patient tries to communicate in lay terms and then helps him or her navigate whatever issues or concerns he or she may be experiencing without judgment. (As I peruse the extremely low number of negative reviews, I chuckle, because based on the tone of the entries, you can sense these folks were quite possibly trouble from the get-go.) Consider yourself fortunate if this doctor is in charge of helping you take care of your overall health. I know I do!
