That may be a plus for some, but it was a nuisance for us and resulted in our reservations being cancelled when we went to drop off and us being left without a boarding solution. Our dogs had successfully boarded multiple times at other NY and MI kennels with the standard vaccines, including the week previously at a different kennel in upstate NY. This miscommunication could have been avoided if Paw Prints had email so we could have sent our vaccine records ahead of time and discovered the discrepancy, vs finding out when we arrived. I would recommend that they revisit their vax policy to be in line with other facilities and general expectations, or at the very least invest in website/email in order to communicate that their requirements differ from other boarding facilities. When we spoke on the phone we discussed Rabies, DA2P, and bordetella but I do not recall them mentioning a requirement for lepto-- again, email/web communication would have avoided this negative experience.

Nickey treated my 3 dogs like they were at home. And she sent me daily updates using photos of my dogs that I didn't have to respond to but kept me confident that they were well taken care of. This enabled me to fully enjoy being away with my family. And Nickey is very friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant and gave us a very fair price. Nickey was originally walking my dog herself, but now she has a few walkers who work for her. Nickey is the best. She's great with the dogs. Incredibly reliable and I can tell she really cares about my dog. Daniel walks my dog now and I would say the same about him. He's great! In addition to my pug, I've had a number of foster pugs over the years. Nickey has taken great care of them as well! Even helping feed and take care of a special needs pug that I had and walking one crazy aggressive pug. Nothing seems to faze her. In addition to walking, I also use the boarding service. It's reasonably priced and my dog loves it. Nickey has a nice setup for boarding with a private backyard for the dogs to frolic in. Nickey boards dogs of all sizes together, but I have NEVER feared for the safety of my little guy with the big dogs.. Nickey keeps everyone under control. In addition to being an awesome dog walker Nickey is a great person. She's helped me out on a few occasions when I've locked myself out of my house and needed a key. She's rescued and given homes to abandoned dogs... And she's generally just a sweet gal. Can't recommend Sid and Tapka's enough.

Pick-up on weekends is 5-6pm, and they didn't even show up to return her to them until after 6 when they arrived at 5pm. When she went, she was clean, her bowls were clean, and her blanket was freshly washed. They picked her up after a 2-night stay none of her food was gone, none of her treats were given, and her blanket had to be tossed. The blanket smelt so bad of PISS that it took could take your breath away !!! We had to take her for a bath because she smelt like she slept in a puddle of PISS !!! This place has a good rating, but it shouldn't even have a license. If you love your pet, don't take them here. They are not treated as well as the other reviews claim. I feel so sad for her she should have received the PROPER CARE.

She even helped him train to the litter box, which he won't use at home. He's an indoor-outdoor cat at home, and although he refuses to use the box here, she said that he will use it there. The last time he stayed, as soon as he was out of the carrier, he was up on the window ledge watching birds, totally at home. Pam even sent an email partway through his stay with a picture. There are individual rooms with glass doors and a big window with a ledge for each cat or cat family, and a "common area" that they can take turns using, with toys to play with and things to climb. The main door is kept locked to keep the kitties safe. You need to bring vet records of up-to-date vaccinations and she asks you to sign a permission paper in case vet care is necessary. This is the very best place for your cat to be while you are away.

We miss Amber as well and are happy to hear that her vet doesn't have any concerns. That being said, daycare can be extremely active, and messy as well during play (when pools are out, mud, etc), and we would never want Amber to get further hurt or sick in a vulnerable state. Due to her extreme and sudden onset of medical issues, we feel as a team that we can no longer provide the level of specific care Amber needs at this time. As much as we would love to continue seeing her, we feel that it would not be the best decision for her medically. I appreciate your understanding, I apologize for the inconvenience, and wish you all the best. WTF??? Is upper management now veterinarians too? Who are you to override a veterinary clearance? We thought that is why you have EVERYONE sign a waiver which releases you from liability. What we see here is ageism plain & simple - you do not want to attend to a senior dog who can walk, run & play because you have no staff and cannot be bothered oh, by the way, this is after we, as loyal clients did not sue you after our dog was severely attacked at daycare by a bully dog who had only just joined.
