After walking in, it's a little confusing if it's a sit down full experience restaurant or a fast food place by the design. This Mediterranean restaurant is located on louetta, close to HEB! The food is impressive and the people who work there are kind and friendly. I personally had a chance to talk to the owner who is a very kind and nice man and I went there a full hand of times. The restaurant is small, but not cramped. It is dark and has a nice atmosphere. I think the decor is very pretty. I was seated at a table and my drink order was taken right away. It was around 3pm so the busy lunch shift was over, and the lull before dinner began. Perfect timing for me to eat alone. I ordered a cup of lentil soup and a falafel sandwich. The soup came with bread and all of it had great texture! I wish I could make lentil soup that tasty at home. The bread was fluffy and great for dipping into my soup. Shortly after finishing my soup they brought my falafel. It was wrapped in thin bead and full of hummus and vegetables. It was delicious and not dried out. Halfway through I got very full and had to take the other half to go. I highly recommend this place for vegetarian, vegan, and other plant based diets if you want a tasty meal. This little hidden place is surprisingly great with top notch quality. The staff was extremely attentive, almost waiting on their toes for anyone to look in their direction. The wife and I got the gyro cause we were testing different places to see which had the better gyro. This was on point, It didn't seem to heavy as I have had at other places. it was rather light and lean for some strange reason. It was gooooood! Not to mention the hummus and pita bread was more than you can bargain for. Heck I even ask for more pita bread cause I had hummus leftover. She gave it to me as if they had tons in the back. This is a very good option for Mediterranean food in this area. I've eaten here twice, and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Their menu is enormous...you can order hummus 6 different ways, or something like that. We tried their generous portion of the nutty hummus, which was very tasty. Most places add too much cumin, but I couldn't taste even a trace of it. It was thicker than your average hummus, but that made it nice and creamy...trust me, that's a good thing. Yo, I always crave Olivit's falafel sandwiches. They're long, filling, and creamy, thanks to those delicious falafel patties and tahini sauce. I order one of the bad boys with a side salad. The grayest and driest kofta I've ever had, and it's floppy. If you want cheap quick Mediterranean food that tastes good, get Nadia's. Very sad. Didn't receive hot sauce or garlic sauce. Asked for a Cesear salad got Italian. Wanted to like it, since Nadia's was closed, but turns out id rather just wait. It was so good I came back the following day! Stumbled up this place because we were looking for some Med food but everything was already closed so we decided to give this spot a try. I wasn't feeling the best when we came in as I was just getting over a cold and the owner noticed so she suggested a mint tea. It was so freaking good. We love the food and service we typically get at this place! However the last 2 times we ordered (once for delivery and once for pick up) we were missing half our order! Nov. 22 and Dec 30th we ordered combo for 2, both times we received for one and the second time we received no sides for any of our orders. It is too far for us to easily go back and a phone call got us nowhere in a credit! Check your orders if you choose to go and don't do delivery! I doubt we'll be back! read more

This place was extremely nasty food wise and restaurant wise, I ordered the hummus with lamb edible. The falafel was mediocre just tasted like parsley no other flavor. I then ordered the lamb shank when I received it the lamb itself and potatoes were extremely cold. I actually watch them put the bag of lamb in the microwave. If that wasn't sketchy enough the pita wrap for the euro was store bought just something you pick up in heb or Kroger's. The fresh pita that you order was the one thing that was actually good from there. The rice that comes as a side dish was Goya yellow rice but pretty sure goya has better flavor then their rice. The place was severely under staffed one cook and one guy taking orders, online order, fixing drinks and cooking in the kitchen. The tables were sticky, can't even tell you how grossed out I was when I went to the ladies bathroom the floor was so sticky it felt as if someone pored a thin layer of corn syrup on it. This is not about service, that was nice the front guy was very pilot but the food not good. I use to get the gyros here when they first opened up. I stop coming here 5 years ago because the last time I got a gyro the meat was super dry and hard, it crumbled. I couldn't even eat it. I decided to try them again today, ordered a hummus something simple. The pita was warm. But No flavor to the hummus at all there's no olive oil just seasoning, it's like no salt no tahini flavor nothing. And way too smooth for my taste the pita had more flavor to it. It was a weird texture because there was just NO flavor to it. Sorry but this is the last time I order anything from here. We had to order take-out since we are on lockdown, however, I went in to pick up our order and the restaurant looked clean and cozy inside- definitely a place to dine-in whenever we can do so again. We got a falafel sandwich, a chicken tikka sandwich, a side salad, and fries. The fries were my favorite- the seasoning on it was outstanding! Both sandwiches were good- good quality lavash bread with good condiments (love their pickles!) and both the falafel and the chicken were tasty. Both were huge- each one made for 2 meals. Side salad was basic but good quality and their house dressing is wonderful. Prices are more than reasonable when you see the portion sizes. Man who waited on me was very nice. Came here for a dinner with the family. Service was great, friendly and attentive waiters. Atmosphere is nice. Food was superb. I ordered a bowl of zynga soup, followed by Olivit Special platter, meat variety, rice and combo appetizer all on one plate. The flavor is very good, the meat is cooked well, portion is very generous. Also I took a side salad with it. For dessert I had rice pudding (my favorite). It was a nice dinner after all. "What is a yarn crawl?" you ask... It's like a pub crawl but WAY MORE BORING. The service was prompt and friendly. The server had excellent recommendations. But anyway. It's some of the best soup lentil soup I've had. My sister had a gyro pizza. It's an individual size pizza made on a pita. She thought it was quite tasty. The MIL had a gyro with fries.
