This new business opened in one part of the former Marsh store in Mooresville, so it has a lot of space inside and plenty of parking. The signs in the windows are for overstocks, buy outs, and discontinued items. All of which means that the manufacturers of the items inside didn't produce a product that there was a demand for, at least at the regular price. So, Ollie's gathered the items together and gives you a second chance to buy something that you already decided you didn't need, but at a lower price. And the place was packed with customers. I don't get it. I went more out of curiosity to see what it was like for myself. The aisles were narrow so that if you had a person with a cart in the row, it was hard to get by without saying "excuse me". The stuff on the shelves were brands I had not heard of. The store is laid out in some sort of groupings, but I couldn't say that I figured out a pattern. You just have to wander around to see what they have. I left without making a purchase. I saw one item that looked interesting, but that I already had. The price was good. But then I thought of standing in line to buy one item. My time, even as a retiree, was more valuable than doing that, so I left. Doesn't look like they need my business though. More people were heading in as I was leaving. Review #1766

Maybe it was just having left Gilley's that affected my perception of this place. Or maybe it's…read morethe lack of accessibility that this place has that keeps it from getting a higher rating. They have some nice stuff here, including a lot more furniture than I expected. They have more room upstairs for browsing too. But the barn seems small compared to the antique mall next door, so unless there is something here that screams "Buy me!", it's kind of hard to rate it higher. Be aware that this is an old barn and has a raised center aisle to walk on. That means low head clearance for air ducts, so watch out. Also, if you are rubber-necking and not looking down, the step down into the rooms/booths on the first floor is large (maybe a 10" drop!) and it would be easy to stumble if you aren't paying attention. Fortunately, the owner did mark the steps in yellow and write "Step" on the ground, but who looks down when you are surrounded by stuff at eye level? I guess I should have. On the positive side, there were some beautiful furniture pieces and a really cool store counter that had shelves that extend all the way through the counter, having a display window on the outside of the piece. This allowed you to see what was in the drawer as a purchaser. Not sure what you would do with this at home, but it was an ingenious piece of Americana. Review #1959

This shop is located next to Zydeco's on Main in Mooresville. I've been wanting to check out this…read moreshop when we go to Zydeco's but we usually get here after they've closed but not tonight. The shop is adorable, and smells great, with hand-painted funiture, locally made wood decor, crafts, jewelry, clothing, signs, candles, pillows, dishware and more home decor. Something for most homes I would think. She sells a room spray, that sits on the counter, with different scents which can be used alone or you can mix them by simply spraying. I purchased two of them, Oven Baked Oatmeal Cookies and Starstruck, and have been using them together. They last quite a while and my house smells amazing without being overly strong. Check out the pictures posted to see a few of the items she has in her shop. The space is clean and very well organized with spacious isle ways. You'll find adorable home decor groupings and nice displays throughout plus several outfits on display. The clothing by Caroline's Bouquet and jewelry, Silver Dragonfly, is towards the back of the shop. The woman behind the counter, assuming the owner, was friendly and helpful. She answered questions and provided history about certain pieces we looked at. Great place! I'll make a point to visit again.

Just a wide variety of items. The general character of the shop is rural/comfortable living. The shop is located in the shopping center where the local cinema can be found. It faces SR67, but you have to enter at the light and then drive to your right to get here. Once you drive to the storefront, there is plenty of parking. The shop has a lot of room to grow. There was space at the back, and even in the middle of the shop, there is plenty of space between the aisles. There were two people working when I entered and they greeted me even though they were still working on arrangements. If you are looking for someplace new to get ideas for your home, why not stop by! Return Trip for me! The service has always friendly so make sure to strike up a conversation…read more Highlight this trip - I loved that I got to play with the TARDIS console, which was not there on my last visit. Located south of Indianapolis, it is well worth the drive, especially if you are a fan. The place is packed with memorabilia, gifts, toys, stickers, clothing, and more. You name it, it is probably there. They even have a Dalek, a TARDIS, and a Cyberman. I cannot speak highly enough of this shop. You have to stop in if you are a fan of Doctor Who! And if you are a true Whovian in the USA, you probably already know about it. If not, enjoy discovering it. They also have more than just Doctor Who. You can check out https://www.whona.com/ for an overview of the shop or buy from their online store.

Between the museum, the merchandise, and the mini arcade (which has a few fun games), he was in Whovian heaven. It's not a massive space, but it's packed with charm and cool details that fans will absolutely geek out over. One huge plus for us: they let me bring our dog in! I did have to keep her off the floor, but I was more than happy to carry her just to be part of the experience. All in all, this was such a fun and memorable stop. Whether you're a lifelong fan or just traveling with one, it's totally worth checking out. We left with souvenirs, great memories, and one very happy kid.
