We've been coming to Olsen pediatrics for over a year with a three year-old and an eight month old. We have had a great experience from start to finish with the nurses, the scheduling availability and of course Dr. Musselman. This clinic refuses to treat children who choose not to vaccinate, even for sincerely held personal beliefs.

I am writing to document that our daughter was administered the hepatitis B vaccine without our consent. On August 5, 2024, and October 18, 2024, Dr. Mary Miller asked my wife and me if we wanted our daughter to receive the hepatitis B vaccine. I remember the conversation vividly because Dr. Miller shared with my wife and I that she was going through a divorce. We explicitly told Dr. Miller that we did NOT want our daughter to receive this vaccine at that time. We did, however, consent to other vaccines, including Polio, DTaP, Hib, Pneumococcal Conjugate, and Rotavirus. During the week of June 23, 2025, my wife and I requested Penelope's vaccine records from Olson Pediatrics because her daycare required them. To our dismay, the records showed that Penelope was given the hepatitis B vaccine on August 5, 2024, and December 18, 2024, despite our clear refusal. On June 30, 2025, at 12:54 PM, my wife called Olson Pediatrics and spoke with a staff member named Hillary to inquire if this was a clerical error, as we had declined the hepatitis B vaccine. Hillary confirmed that it was not a clerical error and stated that the office had no record of our refusal of the hepatitis B vaccine. We are deeply concerned about this breach of trust and intend to file a formal complaint with the Oregon Department of Health and other relevant oversight agencies regarding Olson Pediatrics' actions. Refused to see my son because he is not vaccinated. I am shocked. Especially when their website boasts all the nondiscrimination clauses. They don't discriminate race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex, but they do discriminate over vaccinated/unvaccinated children. read more

They were good when we initially started to go here. The doctors are great and so are their nurses but over the years the front office, business manager, receptionist have gone down hill and pretty fast. I am extremely disappointed in this clinic and would never recommend them. I would go else where for care for your children. read more

If I could give you a 0 I would . I just called to schedule an appointment for shots for my 16 year old and I lead Told uNless we are returning they won't see her. I'm moving to Arizona and need a shot for my child to start school there we don't require in Oregon. THEY TOLD ME TO GO TO THE COUNTY . If you read the reviews here, everyone indicates that the Doctors are amazing, a few low ratings for "rude" staff at the front desk. Our experience has been great with both. Dr Hoffman and Dr Pai are great and we have 100% confidence in their work. Our twins have been going to Olson pediatric since they were born. They are now in high school. We have called for help from their nurse numerous times and always get calls back promptly. The front desk folks are always nice and helpful. Meri Harper Not a doctor we would recommend. She doesn't have the worst bedside manner yet it's far from acceptable. Harper is focused on her own knowledge and has no desire to incorporate the Parents input into their children's own health and care. She is a heavy pusher of vaccines which is Red Flag! Other reviewers have stated the same sentiments during their visit. Please do due diligence before agreeing to any vaccination. Bill/Gates has never vaccinated his own children but pushes vaccines for others. We were pressured into a few vaccinations which we highly regret, after intense research providing facts, which you will not receive from this Pediatrician. When you inform Harper that you either disagree or would like to take a different direction regarding a health plan for your child, she immediately goes into a mini lecture suggesting you're not a good fit for her practice. That's another Red Flag which should alert any parent who wants to be involved in their child's health, and maintaining great care. Again, others have had this same misfortune of being told to find another provider. It's alarming that Harper makes no secret that you will either follow what she orders, or you must seek out another provider. This was our experience and hope it saves others the same headache we endured. We are searching for a Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor (TCM) for the family; as our beliefs and values are more aligned with how TCM functions. Westernized Medicine: care of the sick. I'd much prefer to delve into a lifestyle that keeps you healthy of mind, body and soul, as opposed to one that sees a patient when they are ill. Western medicine is based on profiting off the sick and that's a fact. Sometimes it takes an instance as the above review to find the silver lining. read more

I have three children. Oldest 30 and a step child. Youngest 16. All of my children have 100% been to every doctor in this clinic since birth. Dr Pang was at the trauma delivery of my 16 year old. Dr Pang has been a close family confidant and super Dr. We absolutely adore him. I want to compliment this group with a five star review. We would add more if possible. Lol. Number one: The staff. AMAZING. Personal and perfectionists. Number two: professional yet so extremely personal. It's like you have a concierge doctor and they care so much about your family. Nurses respond asap. The doctors care! They don't just drone through a visit. You get a Dr that is passionate about there work. They spend time with you and your child. Six years ago my son contracted hand foot mouth. He was 11. I had been to Meridian Park ER two times. No diagnose. Olsen clinic had all doctors in the room to evaluate and diagnose his symptoms. They all photo graphed his lesions and rashes. It was a very rare case of a older child in contact with HFM. I FELT SO AMAZING THAT MY SON WAS GETTING THE BEST CARE. Nobody could actually diagnose it. They helped me through one of the worst nightmare a child can go through. He had lesions down his throat. Could not swallow. His face and body looked like chicken pocks. His feet and hands were on fire and peeled tremendously. He was in bed for 39 days. He could barely walk. Pain was tremendous. They completely took me through the entire illness with advise, compassion and expertise... My daughter suffers from anxiety. Dr Pang is amazing. He is so awesome we just wish we could be related. He is caring, interested and aware of the newest technology and medication not only for disease but mental health. Love him. Kids feel so safe with him. We just went through and a change in insurance. They worked us through it. Staff amazing. As a mom, we want immediate information and response. Who wants to wait. They are on it. Lab work??? Done!!! The whole package is complete at this clinic. I'm not the only mom in my family that has taken their children to Olsen. I am speaking for all of us that five stars is not enough. They take patients in the evening and weekends. So I've been wanting for so long to write a review. I just decided. Stop being so lazy and write it. I think my review is overdue as well as our time with Olson. Looking back there were so many red flags. If you are looking for a clinic that thinks outside the box, then this is not the place for you. They make sure you have your vaccines up to date before anything else. The exams are not much to write home about -- the usual basic fare. Where Olson fails is going beyond the surface of most ailments. And I can say this because we have seen many of the MDs there over the years. To speak up and ask for additional testing is like pulling teeth for them. Today's parents are more proactive and aware of their kids health and it is as if Olson doesn't want to hear it. We have had some referrals over the years to specialists and I would have to say that they were disappointing and an expensive waste of time. Some of the specialists had no idea what they were doing. I highly urge anyone reading this to consider other pediatricians. Just because the clinic got a little bit of a makeover has nothing to do with the care delivered by a group of MDs that are textbook at best. Finding the trigger to nagging symptoms rather than managing them would help many children feel better faster. If your kids are always healthy then this place can meet your needs. Anything beyond 100% healthy just forget getting the help you need here. I expected more from Olson and patiently stuck it out over the years....but now it is time for us to transition to a clinic that truly understands children and their bodies. read more

Absolutely amazing doctors and nurses. I'm so happy with my newborns Dr. The office is very clean and everyone is always friendly and very helpful. I think the previous review is kinda strange.. My son was sick with diarrhea when his 24mo check up was scheduled. As a parent, you know your child and obviously if he's sick, just reschedule.. It's not that hard. We have had a great experience with Olson pediatric. We really like our dr.. I'm not saying that what happened to the previous reviewer didn't happen, but possibly could have been prevented.. Maybe it was her doctors choice to do that.. I wouldn't take it out on the whole practice/office. I'm a mom who's had children at this clinic for the past 27 years. I've never been unhappy. We have seen many doctors, some we clicked with and one or two that we didn't. I think that is to be expected. I don't do all the recommended immunizations and have never felt pressured to change my mind. I have two girls that have had funky atypical symptoms and Dr. Pai has worked hard to get at the root of their issues; calling us at home and checking in. She is also not afraid or too proud to refer to a specialist. read more

Their service looks like a highway robbery. Doctor looked at child's wound and said " well done ". I took care of his wound. Vaccinations were done to prevent infections, and I have to pay $676 bill. I was told that insurance covers this, but in really it doesn't. The fraudulent method of earning. Be aware the clinic staff don't disclose the prices,and after 2 weeks you may receive a bill that potentially could cause a shock. You also will not be given after visit print out. read more

Let's just start by saying they kick you out of the practice if you don't adhere to their strict vaccine schedule! No reason for not adhering is good enough either... You are treated like an uneducated idiot and presented with a pamphlet of websites with "good education" on vaccines. I had my son a week and a half ago and was looking for a place for his circ since OHP doesn't cover it. I found this clinic on Google, it was the second listing that popped up. When we went in for the procedure, everyone was really nice. Dr Hoffman and staff made sure that we felt comfortable and were all extremely personable. I am very pleased that I found them and their price was cheaper than Kaiser since we would have had to pay in full out of pocket. read more

I called to set up an appointment for my child to be seen for the first time. The first thing they asked is if the child is vaccinated; I informed the woman on the phone we do not vaccinate. She did not bother to ask why or anything, simply said they will not see children who aren't vaccinated (because they "strongly" believe in it). We do not vaccinate due to religious reasons, but the fact that she was not even interested in the reason was more than enough reason for me to opt out. I prefer steering away from close-minded businesses that will only inject and shove meds down my children because it is in their pockets' best interest. Although I've had a good experience with my doctor, Meri Harper, the staff at this clinic (mainly front desk people and those who answer the phones) are ALWAYS rude. I don't understand why they have the most unfriendly and impatient people at the front desk. I dread calling and scheduling an appointment or asking questions because they always make me feel stupid and as though they are inconvenienced. I have quite a few medical issues and often require medical records to give to those who I am adding to my treatment team. They always seem annoyed when I tell them I need to request medical records. For example, twice now, I've e-mailed them the proper release form and the records never show up. They don't bother to even respond to e-mails, saying that they either can't do it or it will take longer (I sent it to them three weeks ago). It's ridiculous and a shame because I adore my doctor, just not the people I have to go through in order to get to her. read more

I initially took my baby here because the pediatrician my husband saw as a kid was here. I immediately fell in love with the place, the wait time is very short, the staff friendly and helpful, Dr. Miller is very down to earth and great with my little girl. I have since moved an hour away from Lake Oswego but I still take my daughter here because I like them so much. Plus, they have office hours 7 days a week, 365 days a year and appointments up to 8:30 at night because we all know your child never develops their ear infection during 9-5 on a weekday! I went into the office to see Dr Pai for my child's vaccinations. She had given me my child's "immunization record" I wanted to freak out when I noticed the dates and the state these shots were administered. In 2005..2006...2016. I was 3 years out of High School in 2005. I feel like I'm in a nightmare knowing the odds of my child having been double vaccinated by Dr. Pai. Do Not go to DR PAI or her nurse!! Her nurse looked at the immunization chart before handing it back to me. How would she have not seen this huge error I am feeling vulnerable and mistreated and mostly angry about the lack of attention to very important detail. I even mentioned signing off on my record sheet and the nurse said we'd already gone over them (as she was double checking my immunization record with the wrong dates). The other scary factor. The LAST NAME on the record was the same last name as my daughter. SCARY!! read more
