This place was a pit stop from death valley national park. Their outdoor patio was nice with two TV's to watch sports. Their staff was super nice and asked us many questions to make sure we were taken care of. As for the food. It was kinda meh. I ordered the tecate tacos with carnitas, asada & chicken and all of them were dry. They didn't have salsas outside of what the tortilla chips were. However I will say their complementary chips and salsa were good. Nice good spicy kick but not meant for tacos.

    Morelia Monster Burrito

I came in for lunch with some friends, and we decided to try their Morelia Monster burrito. The service was great and friendly. The place is good for casual dining, has a great atmosphere, and has great food. The burrito was pretty large filled with asada, chicken and carnitas, cover in red, green chile sauce to complement the already flavorful dish. Bring your appetite if you dare to conquer this burrito.

The service on the patio could be a bit better. Seems like they forget there is a patio at times. But food is always good. Drinks are cold.

Worst carne asada I've ever tasted. Beans are watery. Sopes were hard.

Service slow. Food cold and bland. Very unimpressed. Dining area inside is dark with inappropriate recessed lighting.

The sope was top hard and overly seasoned.

Disappointed. I ordered online to pay at the restaurant…read more 1) The bill was supposed to be $56.77. When I got there i paid with my card and they charged me $67.61, more than $10 different and it wasn't due tip. I know everywhere they charge you 3% more if you pay with card instead of cash, but it was 19% more. 2) I got a burrito and it was 2/3 the size of a burrito from chipotle for the same price and the food was as salty. 3) I got the combo meal but the fajita didn't come with the wrap nor did I get my drink. I won't come here again. If the food is good I won't mind the higher cost, but they need to be transparent about it. But the food was ok (don't like how salty it was) and the unethical regarding the lack of transparency with the charges is making me not wanting to come back.

Wednesdays are the best day to visit this restaurant since they have tacos for $1.49 a piece all day on Wednesdays as they're special. We were just lucky enough to be there on a Wednesday so we swung in and had some tasty tacos I had the Carnitas tacos which were delicious note that these are street tacos so they are a little on the small side but well worth the money great service from the staff there we had the nicest server I think her name is Sylvia. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Ridgecrest any day of the week, but especially on Wednesday.

We ate here and at Ale's steakhouse across town and they are very similar to me in terms of value,…read morethough they do differ. First, the good. It's nice that there is a restaurant in town with fresh fish. Our server was awesome. We were going to a tiki themed place (which you should 100% try to find if you are in town) afterwards and the server shared some cool info about it when we mentioned it. I ordered fish and chips, against my better judgement, and it was just OK. I'm a fan of beer batter that builds up more than a thin crust on the fish, and this wasn't that. On top of that, the cod was a little over cooked (a bit of a theme for the other Ale's as well). That said, the flavor profile was good and their tartar sauce was on point. I had the option for seasoned fries or steak fries and opted for the steak fries to save some sodium intake. I'd probably shorten my life slightly and get the seasoned fries next time. My wife had a salad that was very similar to the other Ale's -- lots of iceberg lettuce and overcooked chicken. We also had the clam chowder, which had a good consistency but was just a touch fishy. I still enjoyed it, though. They have a pretty good selection of beer and other drinks, as well. The decor is informal and overall I liked the place. Between the two Ale's I'd probably give a slight nod to the original, but they are very similar restaurants other than the focus on seafood here.
