Really gone down hill and prices have gotten high, especially for the burrito and quesadilla. Quesadilla was about as full as a taco bell quesadilla for twice the money. Last time I got a quesabirra that was very small and they where put of consume. I'm all about small business, but not if the quantity has gone down hill, you are serving me less and charging me more. read more

Found this place while working in Ridgecrest for a couple months now. Food is delicious and the owners are very nice people. It's a small food truck located on the south end of town. I have been trying local restaurants looking for good food choices and this is honestly the best food I've found. Simple but very tasty. I have tried the carnitas, chicken and asada tacos which are all great but my favorite is the quesabirria, Sooo good!! Everything tastes fresh. This is my go to and I have been eating here at least twice a week. Thank you for giving me something great to eat after work. Will definitely be stopping back by on my way up to the sierras in the future. 100% recommend!!!! read more

Not from here, got this review from a hotel. This was a longer wait than normal but so worth it. Between all three of us we got 4 different types of meat, Barbacoa, asada, marinated pork and fish tacos. Everything we got was above average. They gave us extra sauces and an extra taco because they took a long time to get us the food. Like I said well worth it and would definitely recommend! read more

Try their Quesabirria tacos. This was the first time I ever heard of and ate Quesabirria tacos. Although birria is goat meat; in Mexico the tradition is more about the style, and so any meat can be used. Gordito uses barbacoa beef for these tacos. They are a cross between a quesadilla and a taco. But it looks like the tortilla is dipped in a sauce and then fried. They are really good, and come with sliced radishes & cucumbers, and a wedge of lemon. I also had a carnitas burrito and asked for avocado. Most places give you sushi slices worth of avocado; but Gordito had to have used at least half an avocado. Be warned if you can't handle hot sauce, because I had sweat dripping down my face. Their red and green salsas are good. If you need mild, then ask for their "pico de gallo" which is a mild chopped dry salsa. The owners of this food truck are very friendly and run a great business. They have earned my business. read more
