I believe my first appointment was in October of 2021 and I insisted I needed surgery before the end of the year. I was having trouble seeing at night and my contact lens only went up to a -10 so I was not seeing very well with them. My eyeglasses were so uncomfortable due to their thickness but I could see much better out of them. But, they were no where near a -14 so I had some vision loss using them too. Dr. Kardasis was so organized and thorough that he had my new lens in before Thanksgiving. So, I have gone from a prescription of -14 to perfect vision. There is no better feeling than waking up and being able to see - no more fumbling around looking for my eyeglasses. I am not wearing any eyeglasses or contact lens now. It is like a miracle! The entire procedure was a breeze. Just remember to use the drops he gives you and everything will be fine. I LOVE Dr. Kardasis and the wonderful gift of sight he has given me. I will be forever thankful!

I had been seeing him for…read morequite some time and discontinued seeing him 5 years ago over concerns of a price gouging suggestion for care that another eye doctor later disputed. I am just very wary of this man. I had a feeling about him, wrote a three star review, but now had this other eye professional frown on his suggestion. His office personnel know better than to side with a patient and are oddly neutral in their behavior. I can now confidently reduce his rating to 1 to 2 stars. Note he is extremely successful, and that's the scary part. If you continue to see him and he hits you with an expensive surprise seek a second opinion.
