This. Place. Costs. Too. Much...and it's stingy with time. I put 3 bucks in the self-serve, and you know what it gave me for my coin? 2 minutes 50-ish seconds...What do you expect me to do with under 3 minutes? Seriously, am I suppose to run around my car, dragging your extra-long hose all over my paintjob? I got 70 percent through my suds before it shut me off, so now what are my options? Put 3 bucks more in to rinse; that's a bummer. Leave the soap to bake in to the paint? For $6 I'd rather just hop the short distance to drive through prices and bite that bullet. So I went to the counter and let them know, and they gave me 3 tokens - which happen to start the system up for an additional shy 3 minute marathon. I'd bet if you gave people 5 minutes for 3 dollars, you'd still see the same material overhead quantities but increase your traffic by 30 percent YOY. You cannot adequately clean a filthy car, focusing on the adhered pollen and dust and window spots in 3 minutes - and rinse. It's impossible. I'm strong, and I had the wand in one hand, keeping the hose off my car with the other, damned-near running around the vehicle, and even with 6 minutes I did a poor job. I would not ever use this place again. They also make it difficult to see how much time you have; typically there's a counter above the bay door, but you have to stare hard at the selector screen - which happens to waste crucial seconds you can't afford. "Well, put more than $3 in the slot then..." You need at least 5 minutes with an SUV. Period. Might as well drive through. Don't even get me started on the vacuums. read more

They make it impossible to log into your account online to either cancel, change, or suspend your service. They don't provide a phone number to call either. It's very frustrating. read more

Terrible service. Older man in his mid 70s or older 80s. Came at us angry saying "Scrubbing your car is taking time and money away from my wash. Then proceeded to kick us out stating we where here were an hour. But there was no sign stating you can't take your time in a bay. He then proceeded to state that people where waiting behind him but nobody was in line waiting even though there were 3 bays open to the right of us. If he was nicer and This place is a scam due to them just wanting you to rinse your car fast so you can get it dirty quicker so that you come right back. read more

One of my favorite things about KC, versus WI where I grew up, is the proliferation of do-it-yourself car washes all over. Olympic is the closest one to my house and the one I visit most often...and its a pretty good one. Its always packed on nice days with people washing their cars, then spending a long time in the detailing bays. The only thing its really missing is the ability to pay with a credit card instead of bothering with all the coins. Otherwise, it gets the job done. read more

Terrible wash, won't be back. Went through the automatic wash and it didn't even clean the back of my car. I actually made a lap back around because the wash ended so abruptly with no indicator lights signalling the end and I didn't realize I had to get a token for the dryer. The man standing outside gave me the token and ensured me that I got the entire wash because he "watched it" even though there was already an orange cone blocking the wash and a man working on it. Surely he saw the unwashed back of my car, then... Like I said, terrible. read more

This is the worst car wash I've ever been to. $8 for a drive thru wash that was a joke! The machine itself is ancient and left my car with a nice dull dusting of dirt...and it wasn't even that dirty to begin with. None of the lighted instructions worked properly either. For a Premium Wash, completely a waste of money. Vehicle was still dirty. Will never use this again.

Never had any issues with this car wash and I like the fact that they have a drying station for your vehicle. I wish more stations had the wash bay and then you were able to pull it out to the air dryers like this location. read more

Not the cleanest place to wash your car. The main reason for the 2, however- the price is high and the time to VACUUM is ridiculously short.

I was happy to be able to use a debit card, but, WHAT A RIP-OFF! I finished my wash and the charge shown on the screen was $7.03 ( it does not stop automatically, you have to push the stop button so it is very easy to go over the $3, min charge without being aware)Ok, so that was disappointingly high for a do it yourself wash, but when I looked at my bank account the next day I discovered that they STOLE $15. from my account! I could not be more livid right now. If you live in the Shawnee area DO NOT EVER go to Olympic Car wash off of Nieman Rd. They have the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced, and I've worked in the service industry for years. Not only was their customer service horrible but their equipment completely destroyed my car. My brand new car that I have had for 3 months has scratches all over it, and they are now refusing to pay for the damage. After going through their car wash yesterday I came home and noticed the scratches so I brought it back to the car wash to file a claim. I was told by a man who looked at my car for two seconds, that the damage was not their fault, of course, why would it be right? And he would not let me file a claim. I am now filing a claim with my insurance to go after his to repair the damages. Please let everyone you know to stay far away from this business! read more

Charged me $15 for a $5.00 car wash even when the stop button was push. Will never go back again! Do not use a card at this wash

Used debit card and had stopped the wash at 3$ and ended up getting charged the full 15 even tho the I pressed the stop button and the timer had stopped. Will never come here again especially since you can go just up the road and get free vacuums at a different car wash. read more
