This is an adorable coffee shop. I have driven by it for years and stopped in today for the first time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beverages were great and the space is cute. They have some cute merch for sale as well.

I just LOVE everything about Olympic Crest Coffee and highly recommend it to anyone! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful for your orders and service. They are knowledgeable about what's on the menu and will gladly suggest things to try. The selections they have to chose from are great! The coffee, for one, is excellent! I've had a few different selections - black, mocha, cappuccino, latte - and they are all great. Full flavored and taste lime real coffee (those coffee lovers out there know what I'm talking about). They also have a wide selection of food choices. So far, I've only stuck with the muffin, scone, baked goods sort of things. However, they do have more lunch type items and fuller menu breakfast options that sound great. I would totally try them, but just haven't been that hungry when I've been there. The atmosphere there is great too. With a larger sitting area in the back, it's great for escaping the hustle and bustle of the day or for a little space for the little ones to spread out. Finally, they have a nice selection of coffees and merchandise to purchase. One must stop and frequent Olympic Crest Coffee when in that neck of the woods ... or make a trip there. You won't regret it!

Decided to go down to Olympia to hang out with a friend one day and wanted to grab coffee. My boyfriend chose a random place as this was his first time in Olympia and found this little gem. It's located across small South Plaza Park on Pacific Ave SE. There's a parking lot with ample parking. They also have a drive thru for customers! I got one of their June special drinks: an iced Lovely Latte which contained pistachio and rose. Interesting combination but suuuuper delicious! I usually choose the wrong drinks when I go to coffee shops but apparently not this time! Didn't think the two would mix well together but it really did! The drink had a light mixture of both rose and pistachio with the latter being a tad stronger. The blend together with the coffee was just perfect! Super fragrant overall. Happy that I was able to come when they were serving this! My boyfriend got a regular latte and regretted not getting it with chai since he wanted some flavoring LOL. But the coffee was very fragrant. If you're feeling adventurous with some amazing flavorings, definitely check out their monthly special drinks which would be posted at the cashier. I wasn't disappointed with my drink at all and will definitely be back when I'm in Olympia! They also have food options if you want to dine in with your coffee.

    Spider in my drink

I probably won't go back and was MORTIFIED. I took one drink of my caramel macchiato and there was a spider in my drink. I was to afraid to go back and have them remake it to find another bug in it.

Bag of coffee beans waiting to be roasted

Everything bagel was served hot and tasted great. Latte was brought out almost as I was seating myself so service was quick on the morning I visited. Cute place with blues and tans. One area has living room feel with low sofas/seats and a book nook. Other seating included both regular and taller seating. Nice choices.

    Cute seasonal decor!

I asked Siri "what is a local coffee shop besides Starbucks?" It (of course) obviously said Starbucks on Pacific and College Street as the first answer.

We ordered the avocado toast, chickpea sandwich, and coffee, and everything was delicious. The food was fresh, satisfying, and paired perfectly with the excellent coffee, making it an ideal spot for breakfast or lunch. Service was quick and friendly, and our order arrived promptly. The atmosphere is the real standout. The café has a huge indoor space with multiple seating areas, each featuring its own unique décor and vibe, so there's something for everyone--whether you're catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a quiet coffee break. We somehow spaced it that the cafe served only plant based food and only realized it after we took couple of bites because the food had unpleasant aftertaste. The pros: 1. Appreciate the support for LGBTQ 2. Appreciate the idea of "plant based" food 3. Nice atmosphere The cons: 1. The 12 oz cup of tea and the 16 oz cup of latte were served in the 12 oz mugs. We paid for a 16 oz latte. 2. Early Grey was of poor quality. Not much flavor. 3. The scones tasted ok, but not like true traditional scones. I presume it is because they are plant based. 4. Shortly after eating a sundried tomato scone I started feeling nauseated and developed a headache which lasted for several hours after. I do not have food allergies, I do though react poorly to heavily processed food. Knowing my body very well this makes me wonder about the quality of ingredients used. Plant based food is a very noble idea and is better for health and environment when in its natural form (olive oil, veggies, whole grains, etc.), but unfortunately some products are often very heavily processed (plant based butter, cheese, etc.). I have no idea what those scones were made of. I will not eat other scones after this experience. 5. I took a bite of hubby's panini. It had an unpleasant aftertaste. 6. We paid for 3 scones. The cashier gave us only two. I thought that the third one would be brought out shortly with the rest of the order so I let the cashier to attend to the line behind us. When the 3rd scone wasn't brought out I approached the counter to ask about it. Another person that was standing there asked me if I paid for it.......Seeing so much suspicion on their face I told the person that I would like to wait for the cashier to see if she would remember me placing an order. To which that person responded - I believe you......This was not a pleasant experience and this is not sound customer service if you ask me. Instead of taking responsibility and checking their system, they made me feel like I was trying to get free food. A professional business should always prioritize making the customer feel heard and valued, rather than putting them on the defensive. The OK: Coffee was just ok. I personally wouldn't come back for it. Overall this is not my cup of tea. I wouldn't come back.

There is a great little play area for kiddos too young to go into the cat room. My son loved playing there, and it's a separate area so if hanging around kids isn't your thing-- there's a very comfy area up front. I love the cat themed art on the walls, and there are loads of cat trinkets and wares to peruse. The coffee was good and the service very friendly. Tiffany was so kind and took the time to give me a run down on all of the sweet cats up for adoption. You can really tell how much they care. This is definitely a premium adoption experience, if I'm ever lucky enough to be in a place to adopt another cat, I'll be right back here. The hour I spent with the cats was awesome.
