The baristas are honestly some of the sweetest people. Everyone is happy to be there, super welcoming, and you can tell they really love what they do. The coffee is exquisite. Their lattes and cortados are some of the best around, and the beans are consistently top-tier. The pastries are locally made, which is another win in my book, and they pair perfectly with the drinks. There are several locations around Olympia, but this downtown spot is great if you want to walk around afterward or explore the area. It has that laid-back Pacific Northwest coffee culture vibe in the best way. If you're a coffee person, this place is a must. In fact, it's the only coffee she'll buy for our espresso machine at home, which says a lot. Every time we stop in, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about the people who come through the door, not just the coffee they're serving. The shop itself is always clean, comfortable, and has a really nice atmosphere, which makes it a great place to grab a drink and relax for a few minutes. The quality of their coffee is consistently excellent. Whether we're grabbing a drink to go or picking up grounds for home, it never disappoints. If you're someone who likes supporting local coffee shops and appreciates great coffee made by great people, I definitely recommend giving Olympic Crest a try. It is worth the wait my friends, if you have the time. My go to is the Fig Old Fashioned latte. The last time I had it they didn't put a real fig in it.. so that might be one of those "when available" additions? Not sure. When my hubby asked about it for me the girl just added more syrup.. (*shrug* Not a huge deal.) Have also tried scones and avocado toast. Now.. to be brutally honest.. I get Gen X annoyed at avocado toast on a menu. Like..
