We contacted Olympic Fencing Solutions along with 2 other fence companies for estimates. OFS came in with the lowest bid, however the bigger deciding factor was the knowledge that Jorge brought. We asked for a custom fence that we basically designed and Jorge gave very detailed and thoughtful answers on exactly how they would build the fence. They showed up on time the first day and had the old fence and some stubborn blackberry bushes removed within a couple of hours, and after about 6 total hours the posts were set in concrete. They came on the second day ready to install all the fence boards. They unloaded them and informed us that they were able to get #2 cedar AND clear cedar by going to a supplier in Olympia, very much out of their way, at no extra charge to us. We were impressed and grateful for the effort. We discovered that we had made a mistake in the fence post line however. They quickly understood the issue, bought more concrete and reset the posts rather than finishing the fence that day. They had all the posts dug up, broke all the concrete off of them, dug new holes and reset each one before leaving for the day. Since it was our mistake, we paid for them to reset the posts. Two days later, on a Saturday, they came back to finish the fence. They came back the following, day, Sunday, and took care of some final details. We are very happy with the fence and feel it was a great value, even with the elevated lumber prices in the whole country. We can't say enough about Jorge and his crew. I am totally impressed with and appreciative of Olympic Fencing Solutions. I had an old fence that was literally falling down, an eyesore and was an embarrassment. In two days, they replaced it with my beautiful, structurally-sound fence that changed the appeal of my whole front yard. Here are Before & After pictures. He and his crew built a beautiful cedar fence for us, and Jorge communicated frequently with us about any choices or decisions to be made. Jorge and his team at Olympic Fencing Solutions are the best contractors I have ever worked with. I've worked with them 4 times in less than two years replacing my fence in sections. They did the first installment when I had other contractors at my newly purchased home; both the plumber and the general contractor repeatedly commented that they work at lots of houses and had never seen better fence work. I often get comments from visitors and delivery people about the lovely fence, gate and arbor they installed. I was very impressed with the quality and quickness of their work as well as the price. I got quotes for twice what I paid and some handyman was going to put it up himself that charged the same price. Usually when you go for the lowest price, you expect fair to mediocre results, this was not the case. They even moved some large rocks (excess of 500 lbs) to make the fence run work. I also have two gates and they both are balanced extremely well ( I think that is a skill). They also came out within 1 week once I called them (no waiting 4-6 weeks). Jorge and his team worked for me to install a perimeter fence on my property. I am very happy with the quality of his work and was very impressed with how hard he and his team worked to get the job done. After completion of the fence several neighbors commented on how nice the fence looked. I requested a commercial quality fence and was impressed with the quality of the materials he used. The terrain over which the fence was installed was not flat and after the fence was done he went the extra mile to distribute two loads of fill dirt I had picked up to fill in some of the low points. Jorge did a great job removing and replacing over 240 ft of cedar fence. He and his team were professional and considerate in every way.
