If you need a proper suit with a quickness, I would go here. I came in on a Thursday for a suit I needed on Saturday and was able to buy it, get it tailored next door, and pick it up by the same time Friday. The lady there took her time to help me find the color and style I like and the gentleman, who I think owns it, pulled a suit from the back that was exactly what I was looking for. It was a little over $250 for the suit and $60 for the tailoring. I would say it was worth it! I would definitely come here again. read more

Came here with my bf to pick up his suit for his friends upcoming wedding. We were greeted by Carlo and he was quick to get our order ready. My bf tried on his suit and Carlo was able to get us in and out within 20 minutes. He's really good at recommending which style and size of suit will work with your body type. Since it was my first time here I walked around the store to check out their other style of suits while my bf was trying his suit on. This store carries a variety of suits in all shapes and sizes. There are some super glittery ones as well as nice velvet ones. I also like their dresses shoes. Such a large variety to choose from. They also have many colored ties, suspenders, and bow ties. After we completed payment, Carlo walked us next door to a tailor to get my bf pants tailored and hemmed. Overall service was good. Will come back to purchase suits for future events. read more

Me and my family where going to a wedding and it was really last minute. We had no suits and we thought we couldn't find any but then a guy named kia helped us out to pick a good suit. We ended up going with a navy blue suit and it was comfortable and surprisingly good quality. I am now going to this store to always buy suits because they value work ethic and treat you really nicely. Avoid this place at all costs! There are other places that have nicer selection and definitely better customer service. Seriously, you go with them and you run the risk of not getting your suit in time. I bought a suit on Saturday, paid full price, and was told I would be able to pick it up Wednesday, right on time for my event the following Saturday. I am then told by Friden that the suit won't be ready till Friday, a day before, and that I would still need to get it tailored. I told her this was unacceptable and asked to speak to the manager, Kia. He was no help at all. Instead of working with me to make sure I got my suit in time, he became combative and offered no solutions. It appears his "fashion show" in Vegas was more important than a paying customer. Kia was completely unprofessional and a lousy salesman. I won't be returning and suggest others to take your business else where. read more

Absolutely loved this place! Went shopping for my son's prom and I must say they went above and beyond. They were so kind and pleasant, I had to give the gentleman a tip! My son is throughly excited and happy about the event and I can't thank OMC enough for all their hard work and help! On another note: BEWARE of Juliandz Tailor Shop! I really wish I would've gone to the tailor next to their shop because I went to Juliandz Taylor at 950-6 Santee Street and they gave me a price of $25 and then when I went to pull out my money, the man Antonio said $35. I said to him, you just said $25. Then he said Well, it's $35 now. He did a simple hem and took in the pants on the waist. He also quoted a man in a blue suit $25 and another customer that was there at the same time as we were with the same alteration $25. That was not kind. I will never go there again. read more

Came one week and he quoted me $220 for a suit came in the next week he quoted me $250. BUYERS BEWARE! He does not like when ppl "haggle" him but he haggles the price of his suits for a higher price. We had gone to other suit paces to check out prices but none could compare to the service and attention that we received here at OMC. Kia showed us what we needed for the theme we had for our wedding and in a matter of minutes set up the look we wanted. Not only did he suit up the groomsmen and the groom but my step father as well. Just to go into detail, my husband had bought a suit prior to coming here at OMC but when he saw the quality we didn't mind spending on another suit. This place lacks two important factors: a reasonable price and professional employees. Reasonable price: Though the suits are nice, their prices are way too high in comparison to many of their competitors. For example, another place that also sells the same brands (WSS, Taglia and etc.) is suitfellas and Giovanni testing on Los Angeles street. I walked into the store and the same suit was being sold for $50 less. *Also beware of some of the suits here. They sell the suit changing the hangar and the labels as if they were their own, so that they can raise the price when in actuality it the same exact suit sold by other places. Professional employees: Look, this is downtown LA after all, it is almost your right to negotiate on whatever price given by the employees. I had my eye on a suit they had and was given a price of $275. Knowing the value of that particular suit through other stores, I proceeded to lower my price to $240 in which I know they will still make a profit. Their rude response took me off guard. Ismael and Kia both laughed arrogantly and Kia said, "since you are being a cheap, go to China and buy suits there." Being Chinese, I found this very offensive and without hesitation walked out of the store. I love to help small businesses. When I find a good place, I make sure all my friends and family reap the same benefits. I really wanted to give this place a chance, given that I rarely see customers inside whenever I pass it on my way to work. Now at least I know why. read more

My fiance and I were shopping for groom/groomsmen suits, and we have heard great prices in DTLA. So we ventured to Santee Alley, and voila, numerous "$49 Men's Suit", or "buy 3 suits for $100". They all seemed to good to be true, and though we looked at those places, we found the suits cheap and gaudy-looking. And then we came across Olympic Men's Collection. Ricky was quick to help us out, and introduce their variety of menswear. He was quick to bring out suits in the colors that we liked, and even made suggestions, such as having the groom wear a different suit or vest, instead of having the suits all the same as we had initially decided. There are only 2 dressing rooms available but my fiance and my father were able to try on suits. Ricky was so very helpful, but not pushy. He also gave as a discount, when we asked him nicely, and gave us $125 for each suit (with a vest) , since we would need 5 suits, and possibly more for fathers and a ring bearer. I did not have bridesmaid dresses ready, but he told me not to worry. Ricky told me to return with a swatch as soon as I had it, so I could pick out the tie color. Ricky was so very patient with us, despite the store filling up with more customers. This seemed like a nice and inexpensive change from my fiance's last suit purchase and rentals from previous weddings. Why rent for greater than $150 when you can buy for less than that? And since we picked gray suits, I'm sure he would wear it again on other occasions (unlike my wedding dress, lol). We would need to return for groomsmen measurements etc, and I will update this review as necessary. I do hope everything goes well. read more

Kia definitely took care of me and has higher quality suits than what you normally find in DTLA (I found a lot of poly/rayon in most stores, where Kia has all wool suits). I probably checked out about 10 different stores for an indigo/royal blue suit when I came across Kia's suit store. He and his workers took care of me and my 5 groomsmen with suits, shirts, ties, shoes, and belts, all with excellent prices (come with a group and there'll be deeper discounts). What I really liked is that he was concerned about our color scheme as well for the wedding, giving us spot on opinions on colors for the wedding. Heads up, they do not normally pick up the phone on the weekend because of the number of people that are in their store. Highly recommend. read more

What's the point in getting a "custom" fitted suit and then getting in your "custom" ordered dress shirt and it fits an inch short on the arm length and a 1/2 short on the neck? Didn't you measure before you ordered?!? Sure did charge me extra for a special order... Then the jacket arms are too long and too wide in the abdomen... the pants about 2 sizes too long... WHY MEASURE ME AND ORDER ME A SUIT THAT IS NO WHERE NEAR THOSE #'s?? THEN the "custom" tailoring isn't done in-house and it's not even included $$ in the price... Money down the drain...
