The staff always picks up my call right away within seconds and able to help me with my online prescription approvals for Babie right away and they are always so being so patient so answer questions, both the staff and the doctors. They don't give you that feeling of they want to get off the phone call before you get all your questions answered. Dr. Lucia Kwon is gone! She was such a skilled and personable Dr. This time I arrived to a FILTHY exam room. My cat was sitting in a pile of fur that was not his own Then this new Dr. (apparently only there for a month) who was 1/2 hour late and had the bedside manner of a stone. Barely looked me in the eye at all! Yikes! I picked up my baby and left asap. I hope this facility can find someone better who fits the positive culture of the office a lot more. I came here because of the good reviews and am shocked that the ratings are so high. The clinic itself is very small with little privacy. There was a dog yowling in the back for the entire hour that we were visiting during our first appointment - you can hear everything because there's just a little curtain that separates the back area from the lobby. The exam room has sliding doors but isn't fully enclosed so, again, you can hear everything. The vet, Dr Kwon, was very gruff and brief with our puppy. He quite literally waved us off when we tried asking questions about our treatment plan, and he didn't adequately review our pet's vaccination records in advance. Thankfully the vet tech remediated the situation and thoroughly explained our next steps, but if he hadn't been there the entire visit would have been a complete and frustrating waste. I'm glad we completed our puppy's core vaccines because we've now switched to a much kinder vet at a cleaner, nicer hospital at the same price point. read more

They were so kind and patient with our little Mocha who, to be honest, gets super nervous around strangers and vet visits. I understand that clinics have policies, but there's a huge difference between politely explaining them and making clients feel unwelcome. I am writing to warn other pet owners about the alarming decline in care at this clinic. After being a client for over 15 years, I am shocked by their lack of professionalism and their decision to "fire" me for speaking up about my dog's safety. 1. Fabricated Medical Data & Poor Service: The front desk was dismissive and rude. They skipped weighing my dog entirely but later "made up" a weight of 6 lbs. My dog actually weighs 5.6 lbs. For a small dog, this 10% error is dangerous for medication dosing. 2. The "Visual" Ear Exam (Highly Unprofessional): When I confronted the doctor about skipping the ear exam, the response was that she "looked at the ears from a distance" and decided they looked fine, so she didn't feel the need to communicate further. This is medically unacceptable. A routine physical exam requires a hands-on check, not a "guess" from across the room. Skipping standard procedures without informing the pet parent is a major breach of trust. 3. Retaliatory Dismissal: Instead of apologizing for these clear oversights, the doctor has now refused to provide further service because I dared to leave a negative review. This is blatant retaliation. Rather than improving their flawed protocols, they chose to abandon a patient of 15 years. This clinic has traded medical integrity for laziness. If you want a vet who actually performs the exams you pay for and doesn't retaliate against honest feedback, please go elsewhere. Their "visual check" is no substitute for real medicine. Very small, but very effective vet hospital! They have their own dedicated parking lot in the back which is a huge plus in KTown. I initially contacted Olympic Pet Hospital through Yelp for an appointment and they were so fast in responding. I was able to book a visit with them for the following week for my kitty Meeko. I adopted two kittens in October and one has had chronic eye watering in one eye for the past 6 months. I tried so many things with another vet and it wasn't until I came here that they told me that he could have a birth defect. Because nothing has worked, it's only one eye and his littermate is not affected at all, they suggested he actually had a closed tear duct in his right eye. I didn't even know such a thing was possible! Though not an amazing conclusion since I can't fix it, it still gave me incredible solace to finally understand what could be his issue. I talked to the vet tech and both vets, everyone was very kind, thorough and patient. Excellent service! Prices are very reasonable and they are so good about explaining every cost to you. When my 15-year-old senior dog suddenly stopped eating and could no longer walk or stand, I was devastated. Her longtime vet, who had treated her for years, told me there was nothing more to be done. They explained that with only 15% kidney function, an inflamed stomach, and pancreatitis, she might survive two weeks at most if I continued giving daily SQ fluids. In other words, they advised me to consider that it was time to let her go. Something in me wasn't ready to give up -- she's my family, not "just a pet." That's when I came here for a second opinion, and I am so grateful that I did. Dr. Kwon treated my baby with genuine compassion and respect. From the very first moment, I felt he saw her the same way I did: not as an old dog whose time was up, but as a loved family member who deserved every chance to recover. He reminded me that everything that breathes deserves care and dignity, no matter the age. That philosophy was the complete opposite of what I had just experienced with her former vet. Instead of discouraging me, Dr. Kwon gave me practical tools and hope. He encouraged me not to give up and taught me how to support her at home, including carefully syringe-feeding plain white rice soup (only if there was no vomiting -- diarrhea was okay). His guidance helped me keep her nourished while her body healed. With his encouragement, my dog fought hard and began to slowly recover, on 5th day morning after seeing Dr. Kwon she began eating. Thank God!!!! And Thank you Dr. Kwon. At 15 years old, my dog is fragile, but she still has life and love to give. I am so thankful to Dr. Kwon for seeing her worth and giving us more precious time together. To any pet parent reading this: never underestimate the value of a second opinion. Sometimes it can mean the difference between giving up too soon and giving your beloved family member another chance. Ask yourself: Is your dog just a pet, or are they part of your family? We've been using Olympic Pet hospital for several years. They assisted us with our prior dog Oreo, (including referring us to a cremation service, which was stellar). Service staff has always been helpful and has been able to handle our extremely anxious dog. Prices are *decent* for the area but I might imagine their rent isn't that cheap at that prime location. Communication is fast and efficient and they email us promptly our dog's vaccine records when we need them. They are a basic vet clinic. For our last dog, they did have to refer us to Access Specialty Animal hospital due to his heart failure. Nonetheless, we still strongly recommend Olympic Pet Hospital. read more

Worst service ever!!!! This place treated me with no sympathy. They always try to overcharge me for everything. They were trying to charge me $200 for bringing in my dog today as an emergency fee. They weren't even nice enough to try to squeeze me in a schedule. Why would you want to go to a vet that has no sympathy over the pet owner but has no problem offering to charge you more? I've also had previous incident where I went to this vet spent less than a minute having the vet look over my pet and charge me $140 for doing nothing! Literally a minute. Super frustrated, been coming to this vet for 4+ years ,when I found them they were great, easy to get in and took the time to meet with me and my dogs. Now I can never get in, even with something easy and quick that is recurring with my pup. She gets ear infections, and every 6 months to a year needs an injection of medicine in her ear to heal. This is extremely uncomfortable for the dog and needs quick attention... but I can not get an appointment for 6 days. Do they want me to wait 6 days with her infection?? How long would you wait to see a Dr if you had an ear or eye infection? My dog has been coughing a lot and having shortness of breath so I took him in to get some tests. All the doctors were super nice, caring, and listened to my concerns very well making me feel at ease since I was so worried about my baby's health. But since he is 15 years old I guess it is something that I have to deal with. Unfortunately, my pup has been diagnosed with liver disease and heart murmur (still waiting to get an echo for this) so they prescribed him with meds and food and I can already see my dog feeling and getting a lot better. The only downside is that they are closed on Saturdays but other than that this is the vet where you can trust and safely bring your fur babies for just about anything since they have radiologists/cardiologists/technicians come in for x-rays, echocardiograms, etc. They also speak Korean and Spanish which is a plus. read more

I took my cat Oreo here a few months ago. He was coughing for a few days, they couldn't find anything critical by a check up and more tests where needed BUT they did suggest it could be the air and recommended I get an air purifier. I liked the idea since it's great for us human kitty slaves too! Once I got home I did a deep cleaning of the whole house, washed the cats blankets, vacuumed their beds, no corner was left with dirt and then I dash to the closest best buy for that air purifier. I placed it in between the cat litter furniture and the human couch. I could not believe it!! Oreo stopped coughing since and has no health issues! plus the air does smell better. I've brought my pup here for two different acute issues and saw a different vet each time -- first was an older gentleman, and the other was a younger lady. Both were professional, although I felt the lady was more detailed oriented, and more willing to spend time to answer my questions. I would only return to this pet hospital if I could be guaranteed to see her. I live a quick 5 minute drive away, so they're convenient, but their prices are steeper than I'm used to paying (to be fair, I moved here from Chicago). base office visit is $65 as of 9/2022 vaccines are $22/ea any medication I've purchased from them is at least $45-50. read more

I like that the vets consider the most cost-effective options and the prices are good. Eric the nurse displays the most passion and he's a good employee. So far the vets are nice and straightforward, but I'm used to past vets being affectionate and empathetic towards the animals, which helps me feel like they really care about them. The vets aren't rude, but just polite/neutral, which comes off as more of an efficient business I'm entering. I don't feel 100% comfortable in this office, more like 75%. It's also a very small office, which doesn't feel very professional, but I could judging too harsh by appearance alone. There have been no problems so far, but I'm just a bit wary. read more

Best place I took my sick baby to. They are very kind and understanding. My 12 year old girl had a seizure and I needed to have a follow up with a vet. Her usual vet was not able to see her even after I explained to them what had happened. I called here explain my situation, they were so sweet and helped me get an appointment to have her seen. I never felt that I was pressured into anything and the doctor was amazing, so knowledgeable. Dr.Campione is amazing and I'm so happy I called here. I had such a great experience here that I will be bringing all my babies here. All 3 of my cats have been seen my Dr Lucy Kwon, and she is awesome. All 3 of my cats (who like most cats, hate the vets) were relaxed around her and the tech who did a sanitary shave did a perfect job. Just took my cat here and everyone was so kind and the doctors answered all my questions and were really informative about the cost breakdown and things to look out for. The only downside was inside the patient room is pretty loud, since the walls don't go to the ceiling to muffle sounds, so I suggest asking to wait in the car after checking in if your pet gets stressed by noises like mine. Update: After posting my review on yelp, the doctor personally called me and apologized on behalf of his staff. He addressed my concerns and discussed my cat's test results with me and was very thorough. Unfortunately my cat was diagnosed with a fatal disease I was forced to put down her down at MASH a week later.... To my surprise - I just received a sympathy card in the mail from Olympic pet clinic about my cat. It was very thoughtful and nice of them.
