The large is actually pretty small compared to what you get at other places in Rutland. The taste of the pizza was fine nothing I would say that was remarkable or that stood out to make it stand out from others in the area. The chicken alfredo with broccoli was kind of tasteless but the chicken was soft and tender and the pasta was cooked well. It comes with half of a sub roll that is the garlic bread. We did get a Mug Root beer and Ben and Jerry's ice cream which were both great. It's also convenient to be able to get these with dinner. The customer service was great and the staff were friendly. This is literally THE type of establishment that the sign "Employees must wash hands before returning to work" was made for. Absolutely the worst pizza in Rutland and the surrounding area. How something can be so greasy and burnt at the same time is truly a feat. Everyone has an off day sometimes right? They literally had to try to make a pizza this bad. The establishment itself is dark, dank and filthy. When you complain about their dumpster fire of a pizza, the manager/owner tells you "there was nothing wrong with that pizza, that's how we make it." With so many other options, I would strongly recommend eating just about anywhere else. Best pizza in the city I'm a pretty new customer to these guys but I've eaten at the following pizza places in the area... -Ramuntos -Castleton Pizza -Dominoes -Lil' Ceasars -Stewarts -Cumbys as well as a bunch of scattered places from my travels across the state and out of all of these places Olympic is by far the best. They make quality tasting pizza, with the right amount of grease (I like some grease), I'm guessing the veggies are organic because they're full of flavor, the sauce is great because it's tasty and blends into the background without a back taste that's terrible (Stewarts) or just a weird tasting sauce (Cumbys). Why it's better than Ramuntos imo is because of the volume of cheese, and the full flavor of the pies. Castleton Pizza is a close second, delicious pies also. Maybe what makes Olympic stand out is an organic or fresh ingredients vs less so thing, maybe there's something in the spices I'm missing, idk I'm not a professional chef. We ordered the Luciano Pizza on a Friday night to be delivered, right after the Governor had made an announcement of new restrictions for Covid. What's that mean, more people are ordering take out. They gave us a delivery time, we said, yep, we understand, thank you very much. The Pizza came within the time they said, it was Hot, and Awesome, truly tasty, and better than we expected! We were so impressed we ordered another one the next night, this time we decided to pick it up. They said, come get it in 25 minutes. When we got there we called as we pulled into the parking lot a couple of minutes early. They brought out the same Luciano, and a couple of other things. When we got home, the meal was Hot and Awesome again! We couldn't have been happier with the food, the service, the delivery, and we would send anyone there. There are other pizza places in the area that make a pizza the way I'm used to and the way I like. Olympic makes a different type of pizza I wouldn't regularly order but when I do getting a hankering for their Greek Style Pizza it's delicious. Olympic offers a wide variety on their menu with items not available at other pizza shops. They also make awesome onion rings! I actually decided to write this review based on my experience last night. I stopped in to order a large meatball parm to go. It was clear they were well staffed and the owner and his daughter were working the counter. I respect a family owned and operated business and it was nice to see dad and daughter working together. I placed my order paid and was told it would be about ten minutes. I sat down to watch some NFL highlights on the tv in the restaurant area when my phone rang. I stepped outside and got in my truck to take the call. When I finished my call I was about to walk back inside to wait for my meatball parm when out comes the owner and hand delivers me my sandwich. I was impressed and really appreciated that personal touch of customer service. I didn't even wait ten minutes and it was hand delivered. We order extra pizza and freeze it to reheat another day. This pizza is perfect for us. Not too much sauce; just the right amount of toppings and they are always very pleasant when we call to place an order. We are handicapped and live in the hinterlands, so curbside works for us. So, we are staying in a hotel. We placed an order for delivery. We were told it would be 45 min. (Ok, it's Friday night they're busy) IT took almost an hour and a half to receive our order. Everything was cold when it finally arrived, and there were no utensils to eat with! French fries that should be hot, were bagged with a cold salad. Calzone was not warm, pizza was room temp. My husband called to ask for compensation for cold food and nothing to eat it with, he was denied and told they were busy... We are new customers, we come to Rutland often for competitions. I used to live in Philly so I feel qualified to comment on this. The steak and cheese was an absolute disgrace. It had no flavor at all and was extremely dry. The Italian sandwich was also flavorless and had almost no meat. The lettuce was simply a stalk of romaine. It was so disappointing that I actually called the manager. I offered to bring the sandwich back to show them and the female manager actually told me that "the owner made the sandwich so I doubt it was that bad". I can only imagine how the food is when the owner is not making it. She refused to even replace the sandwich or refund me. She wouldn't even hear me out. When I told her that I thought she was being rude, she simply said you're welcome and hung up. I honestly have never experienced service this terrible. We had food delivered to a local hotel. We ordered chicken fingers, mushrooms, and 2 different salads. Delivery was fast! The chicken fingers were great, still piping hot! The mushrooms were ok, they had a freezer taste to them. The salads were good, I would have liked for the meat and lettuce to be cut up better. The chicken on the chicken and feta salad was very good. They didn't send any utensils so we had to go out in the cold and get some. I had it delivered because I wanted to avoid the cold. I get Olympic Pizza every time I come back home and stay with family and need delivery. Not many deliver around here! I've never had a problem with rudeness like I see with other reviews, there is one man that's hard to understand and is short but still I've never had any problems. Expect to pay a lot that's one downfall I've gotten over and make sure they understand your full order if you get delivery. Don't get the pizza, I know it's ironic but I swear everything else is delicious. I usually get the chicken tenders & fries with sweet and sour sauce. Mozz sticks, wings.. we usually order a lot of basic stuff and have a mini buffet and everyone is happy. The delivery drivers are always super nice too. Unfortunately Olympic pizza keeps getting worse. We usually love the ziti and vodka pasta. It comes with a salad and bread. The ziti is supposed to be spicy, it's not at all. The salad is all iceberg lettuce with huge chunks of tomatoes. The serving size is very small as well. This will be the last time we go there. read more

Had a meat lovers pie a couple weeks ago. Very good pizza, a very good mix of the sauce and cheese, the pizza did not fall apart, but it was very greasy. So, I came here to pick up a pizza for my mother that lives in Rutland. We did not have the exact order, but we did have the phone number for the order. The woman behind the counter seemed irritated that we did not have the information immediately (understandably so), however, when she repeated to me what the order was and what we should be picking up, my response was, "sure". DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! We ordered a Chicken Creaser Salad that consisted of a hand full of lettuce and pinch of cheese and cold grilled chicken and no creaser dressing at all. Called spoke to the owner Chris whom told me that he would not be able to get us the dressing for at least 40 minutes because all drivers were out for deliveries. Then Chris told me I could either come get the salad dressing myself (which defeats the purpose of delivery) and he would comp me on my next salad, which do not worry about Chris, I do not ever want another salad from you, even if it is free. Needless to say Chris your customer service skills have a lot to be desired!!!! I wish the old owners were still there I loved their food and their service!!!
