Using Yelp I got several estimates for a windshield replacement. Omaha Glass Pro was the lowest and I had not problem in scheduling the repair. The work was done in the time they said it would be and it looked like a super job. Really easy to work with, nicely laid back. Let me start off by saying I brought a car here years ago and was impressed so I brought another car here when I needed a stereo. However I wish now that I hadn't. I brought my car in to have a radio installed. After paying over $600 to have a new screen "professionally installed" I was left with a cord running from my glove compartment as my "new" usb plug (when I have a perfectly good one on my dash). Not to mention my new screen moves every time I touch it. The entire unit shifts. Oh and my "end call" button on my steering wheel, now switches the mode on the stereo (so does the mode button). Did I mention that the end and answer functions don't work after I paid and EXTRA $100 for my steering wheel functions to work (that charge was communicated after my car was already being torn apart). To top all this off when I tell the techs this, they tell me that they have no control on the stereo moving and the "answer and end" buttons will work when it's plugged into the usb wire running out of my glove box. IT DOESNT!!! Then when I show him that his response "That's weird, it did when I tested it". Initially he told me this was the only way I could have a working USB port. But when I asked "So if I take my care to Stereo West they're gonna tell me the same?" His response change "Wellnits gonna be another 250 to get that USB in the dash connected to the stereo". WHAT??!!!! Ultimately I would have been fine if they just would have owned the mistakes and fixed it. That's all I wanted. I was super nice up until I was told these things "is just how it works". So I'm currently waiting on the manager to call me. The tech said he just wants to refund my money. Lol read more

We called looking for help to put a remote starter in our car. Their quote was competitive with others we got but the option to have the work done was local and not 250 miles away like we had been quoted from another nation wide store. They were agreeable in working with us when it was convenient for us. There was one issue that was resolved within half an hour and when it was done we were on our way with everything working great. To preface my review of Omaha Glass Pro's, my rating is entirely based on my experience with the manager. After having my windshield replaced I noticed a scrape on my back bumper that wasn't there previously (I had been buffing out a small scratch the night before). It would be unfair to base my review on damage to the rear bumper since I cannot definitively prove that they were the cause. I asked the staff about the damage and was directed to the manager. He was immediately dismissive of my issue and kept saying "I know we didn't do it". After pulling up security camera footage on his cellphone and watching the car pull into the stall and back out, he exclaimed "see, I have f*cking proof we didn't do anything". In total, we watched ~60 seconds of footage from my 90 minute appointment on a cellphone screen. I tried pointing out that scratch doesn't appear to be present in the footage of the car pulling in, but he became increasingly defensive and hostile, arguing that the image wouldn't possibly pick that up. I repeated that I couldn't guarantee the damage was from them, but asked if I could have the footage to review. He responded "how would that benefit me?". After it became clear that the conversation was not going to be productive, I left without reaching a resolution. I am leaving a 2 star review because the windshield was replaced properly and the front desk staff were respectful. I recommend avoiding Omaha Glass Pro's simply because the manager I spoke with was incredibly rude/aggressive and showed no real interest in investigating if they caused the damage. read more

Had my car windows tinted here. They got me in quick and that was appreciated...but the overall experience was disappointing. This was my 3rd car to get tinted locally and this place unfortunately did the worst job. I went back the following week to show I still had bubbles throughout my windows and to have them fixed but was "told dust and particles just get under the film were going to happen as nothing is perfect" by the tinted window guy who was brought up from the rear of the store by a younger gentleman (not Bob). The younger gentleman, tried getting some bubbles out of my rear window and did get some...but when I still showed my dis-pleasure, he said it was tough and a hassle to remove the tint film and if they re-did it it probably would come out worse than it was at this time. I kinda felt like, there was nothing I could do or say so I ended up leaving unhappy and frustrated knowing I wasn't going back. I was also frustrated that no partial refund or discount back was given for their poor work. I have already told multiple people to not go here for work...so I guess that is all I can do. read more

An electric component in my car got wet and ended up costing me $700 at the car dealership. The dealer said I needed my windshield resealed to prevent it from happening again. So, I walked into Omaha Glass Pro and was helped immediately. The gentleman asked why I needed the windshield resealed and I told him what the dealership told me. He then said he would test the windshield and let me know what they find. Another gentleman came back in 10 minutes and told me that after doing an air test and a water test, they found the windshield seal to be flawless. So they investigated further and discovered a cover for the wiring had come loose and that was the problem. They could have taken advantage and done the sealing without asking questions, but took the honest route to see if I really needed it. Furthermore, they went above and beyond to find AND FIXED the problem - which wasn't even part of their job. They sent me on my way without a dollar coming out of my wallet. It's rare to find this kind of honesty. Omaha Glass Pro will now be my go-to for any service they offer. read more

Great service, I called in the morning and got in the same day. The work was done within the hour and they started it right away. I scheduled it for 4:00 and was done by 5:00...for a window! I had looked around at many places and glass pro had the best price... By far. An easy 30% less than the closest competitor. I got a passenger window for my car installed for less than the next competitor was selling just the glass for. I had a couple of rock chips repair at the company. I will say they warn me that the spot would still be noticeable. That should have been my first glue I should have went somewhere else. After the work was done 2 of the 4 were ok. Small dots...good...one other one is still noticeable like they didn't fill it. The 4th one is really bad. That one was a small one...you can see the filler...it is in the shape of a flower and the area around it is distorted now. like it got to hot when they applied the pressure or something. On top of that I come out to my vehicle to find a door ding on my drivers side door. I can't prove this was them but the ding is in an area that is really noticeable to me because it's where I grab my door handle so I have to look at this area everytime I get in. Terrible service. In fact I bought a remote car starter from them and there was my first problem. When I first picked it up door broken. Then after that my door locks didnt work right took it back there countless times so they could fix it right but when i suggested they need to refund my money and they got upset saying the probelm was my fault and would take no responsibility and when i brought it in to get my money back and have it uninstalled they were rude. Very disappointed!! On Wednesday 3/17/21 I had an appointment to have my sunroof looked at on my suv BMW that was not cracked, the motor was simply off track and beginning to twist is what they told me. It still opened and closed just not the back fabric cover leaving back passengers exposed to the sun. The guy at the counter said he spoke to the other guy in the back office (I'm guessing Bob) and he said they would have to replace the whole sunroof quoting me a total of $520.00 putting half down because it was so much and they would call me in three days to get it put in. I know businesses can get a little busy and things happen in delaying of purchases but no courtesy phone call explaining that!! Today Thursday 3/25/21 I call and they tell me that there's a small problem... I have to pay $200.00 more on top of what they already quoted me because the sunroof glass just broke. Please tell me why should I be responsible for paying an additional $200.00 and I the customer did not do it! and they guy said it just happened in THEIR CARE!!! So unprofessional so I said I would like a refund he told my sure no problem and requested my card information which I gave it to him and then he goes to tell me he'll get back with me and call me once he get the approval, i told him NO! I thought you put it in your system! He replied no and I told him you don't get to write down all my credit card information and call me back later and he quickly cut me off and say let him go ask then hold on and Bob immediately get on the phone and tell me I can come in and get the copy of the receipt And I said no how about you take a picture of it and send it through text message which he did stating it will take at least 2 to 3 business days because of my bank. Bob and his crew has been so great to work with. They go the extra mile to satisfy there customers! a few months ago, I had a remote start installed and my front 2 windows tinted to match the back. At that time we discussed having a drop down DVD and new stereo installed, the cost was more than i could spend at the time so we waited until just last week to get that installed. It was a really big job that resulted in some minor difficulties with the dash kit updates, but they have been very accommodating through it all. Even came to pick up my truck while i was at work then bring it back to me before i was off! I would highly recommend these guys! read more

I wish I could show a picture of what I just found in my car. Almost exactly one year ago Omaha Glass Pro's replaced my windshield. It has a rain sensor in the windshield and after the installation it no longer worked. They came out to my office at LEAST 3 times to try to remedy the problem to no avail. So I had to go into their shop. After an hour they finally fixed it and it was working again. I was not happy with all the extra time their bad work cost me, but I went on my way. Well, as my bad luck would have it, I had to have my windshield replaced again just now. I had another windshield replacement company come to my office to fix it this time. Within a few minutes of me returning to my office from leaving the car with him, I received a call from the technician that Omaha Glass Pros had used 2 ZIP TIES to hold my rain sensor in place!! ZIP TIES! I called Omaha Glass Pros and spoke with Bridget. She was not helpful at all, acting like she didn't think there was any kind of bracket to hold in the rain sensor any way. Yeah, guess what Bridget, I looked online and there most certainly is a bracket that's supposed to be there. Which your technician somehow took, or lost, or broke and tried to cover his work with zip ties!! Well, you got away with it for a year, but you will be paying for a new bracket once I speak to the dealership. Brand new car...YOU guys replaced the windshield...YOU guys are the problem. Do not go here. They do horrible work and then cover up their mistakes. read more

I received and automatic start for Christmas and my mom had paid for the installation fee at glass pro where she bought the starters. I called a few days after Christmas but got no answer. I figured they were out for the holidays or just busy. I called again a few days later and left a voicemail and after waiting 4 days with no call back I called again to make an appointment. I called on a Wednesday and finally got an answer and was told to bring it in Tuesday morning and was told there should be no problem having it back that afternoon. I dropped my car off around 6:00am and came to pick it up at 3. At 3 my car hadn't been touched, it was still in the same parking spot as I had parked it in that morning. When I talked to the guy at the desk he told me it was my fault it was not done because I was supposed to bring it in Tuesday the 20th rather than the 13th. I explained I had called a week prior and I was told Tuesday and was not given a date and I figured it was safe to assume the following Tuesday of the phone call. The guy had a million excuses and was incredibly unapologetic. He rushed my car in after he had a conversation with my mom and it was done in the next 45 minutes, putting me 20 minutes late for my job. If the installation fee wasn't paid for I would have definitely gone elsewhere after 3 phone calls went unanswered. read more

I bought a vehicle and that evening had someone break out the window in my driveway. I filed the police report and assesment of the damage was made which was only abroken window. I called Glass pros and was told they could fix it right away. I took my car there and thats where the issues started. After the window was replaced I go out to my car and on the new window is a large scratch on the a window I just paid over $200 for. I go inside to let them know and the gut at the counter comes out to look at it and he then goes to get someone else and they agree it cant be buffed out and they go back and forth about why it wasnt inspected before it came out. Eventually he says he can order a new glass and replace it or give me $30 credit back. I agree on the $30. I then ask when I can take the black tape off the window that is all around the new window he goes to check and says the next day. I didnt go anywhere next day so today I go to take the tape off and there is a scrape and small dent in the top of the door that was not there when I took the car in. I go back to see what happened and too see about getting it repaired. The first guy looks at it and says we have cameras let me take a look which was fine with me and I go to sit down and wait. Then the original front desk guy who was there on Saturday comes out and before he even looks at my car he looks at me and says so your here trying to get something for nothing. I was shocked! He then goes out and looks at my car and before even lookng at the video says we didnt do that you must have done that. I let him know it was there when I pulled the tape off but was not when I brought it in. He says well Im going to pull up the tapes we can see everything again I agree. He comes back a few minutes later to say oh we cant see what was going on with your car as there is a glare. He then says I can look if I want so I asked to see. The guy in the back pulls up the video and I am starting to watch it and I can see the car but its not even fully pulled in the garage but its half in half hanging out. I see 2 guys looking at my car. As I am trying to watch the video the front deak guy comes up and interupts me stating the guy who fixed you window is here he is going to talk to you then he turns and tell me this is the guy and he said that dent wasnt there when he fixed your window so you must have done that. I said I just took the tape off and it was there. Then he states do you want the brick back that went through your window? I said there was no brick in my car. At this point he gets very angry and confrontational. He says you callling my guy a liar I said I know there wasnt a brick in my car because we had gone through the car to see if there was any more damage and we had to tape up the window inside until I could get it fixed and we certainly would have noticed a brick. He again states saying are you calling my guy a liar and he steps in front of the shop door blocking me from leaving and tell me to tell his shop guy to his face that he is lying. I ask to leave and he says no tell my guy to his face that he is lying and he still would not move. The shop guy wouldnt even make eye contact with me and the guy showing me the video was laughing. I again asked to leave and at this point was scared and shaken and started to cry and he finally moved. He is at me all they out the door telling me to add the dent to my police report and I was a liar and I did it myself. I did state I would be filing a report on the shop and what happened and he said go right ahead you are lying. I am sure he felt he could talk to me and treat me this way because I was a woman alone in a shop full of men. I would never ever recommend anyone to go to a business that treats customers this way it ia appalling. I wanted no money back and never enen mentioned that I just wanted to know what happened and I wanted them to fix it. Just bad business practices. read more
