DO NOT GO GO IF YOU ARE WHITE... Honestly it seemed innocent enough. They dont speak english. I walked in for a cut. Immediately asked the price for just a fade , they said 25. The guy cut me up never spoke a word to me and another customer came in a black kid young and was a walk in aswell. He had to wait. Obviously i dont understand the talk, my focus was on english. The kid was next and he asked for the same cut as me and they guy didnt want to answer. Minutes later the kid asked again and gave a different price!!! They really put a gringo price on my head at a barber shop in the town i grew up in.. unbelievabke. I grew up in a multicultural area. I studied abroad for 5 years in africa. And yet i never expected this treatment in my own hometown. Disgusting. read more

They were able to take me as a walk-in on a Saturday pretty quickly, which I was happy about. After sitting down I noticed that I was the only adult getting my hair cut. Every chair had a child (like, ages 5 - 12) in it. I don't know if maybe I just walked in at a popular time for kid cuts or what. I told the barber what I wanted but I couldn't understand him when he spoke back to me. I'm pretty good with accents so I don't think that was the problem. He spoke very softly and kindof mumbled too. I felt bad but I kept asking him to repeat himself and still couldn't figure out what he was asking most of the time. The haircut wasn't bad but it also wasn't what I wanted. I was left with a patch of hair on the top my head and bald on the sides and back. If I was 10, it would have been perfect but... I'm an adult so I just looked a bit ridiculous for a few weeks while it grew out enough for me to get it repaired. read more

One of the best barber shops I went to, I made an appointment for 6:30 but came almost 20 minutes late! Guy didn't give me any crap for it, and did a fantastic job. He was very patient and even did my eyebrows really nice. (I didn't ask him to.) I think I could've got a better cut, but that was on me because I didn't speak up. He saw that I had a lot of hair, and didn't wanna cut too much off. I got a lineup, fade, sideburns, eyebrows and a little trimmed off the top for only $20. (For those wondering, I am Korean and Black and have very curly hair. I highly recommend this spot. I'll edit with my barber's name soon. read more
