Update: I've since seen Kristina/Christina while Nadia was not in, and she is equally wonderful. She gave me the results I wanted and informed me of ingrown hairs I had. She gave me tips on prepping my skin before waxing and tweezing. I have issues with irritation and hyperpigmentation. She had been the only specialist to give me samples. I attended a European Wax Center over 10 times in Charlotte, NC was never given samples.

Discovered the owner as someone with whom I was familiar at a previous nail salon haunt. My first visit, though, I was handed over to an overfamiliar pedicurist. Couldn't stop chatting me up and asking personal questions. Even assumed that I cut hair for a living because I was wearing a black shirt. On my second visit, I was passed on to a young manicurist-in-training (this was Summer and she seemed on vacation and still learning). Not only did she do a poor job (see picture of nail job), but she was not polite at all. Never smiled. Seemed to want to be anywhere but there. At one point during the pedicure service,she asked me to lift my feet up in the air while she flipped the towel over to fold. Awkward and uncomfortable. Finally, while I was drying my nails, she was very impatient to leave with her friends that she actually came over to where I was sitting and asked me to get up and follow her to the counter to pay so she can leave. The owner was not around and I noticed she purposely did this on the sly. I did not appreciate that at all. I wish this place good luck but my advice is to be vigilant over customer service and quality control. This is a time to make or break it, earn a good reputation so more locals will visit. In my case, I just didn't think driving over there is worth it considering there are tons of nail places within an average of a half mile from each other.

The chair was in a reclining position, the bum cushion kept moving and I practically had to leap into it. Didn't know what my brows looked like until I looked at myself in the car. My regular eyebrow person usually offers a handheld mirror at the end. Also, paying with a card requires the attendant to have to directly ask if you'd like to leave a tip and for her to wait for a response so she can enter in a quantity. They do offer a monthly membership and after the 10th visit next service is free.
